    All around nice

All around solid bakery. The Ham and Swiss (topped with some kind of béchamel-like sauce) was delicious albeit on the small side. Their cold brew was excellent. Surprisingly, the beans are not from Extracto next door. I didn't connect with the ginger biscuit. However, the fresh made on the premises multi-grain bread was oh so good. I use it to construct a mean grilled cheese sandwich (be sure to spread with mayonnaise on the grill side) at home. Comfortable ambiance with good variety of seating. Parking is relatively easy and counter person was nice.

Hearty, walnut levain sliced bread that I am taking home to enjoy with fresh creamy butter

I love this place so much!! Today I stopped in for a yummy lunch and loaf of bread. Lucky me Super fresh baguette with melt in your mouth gouda and danish ham resting on remolaude with argula and parsley . I was fortunate to get the last loaf of walnut levain .

Ginger biscuits! That's all it took to get me to drive clear across the city and over the river to visit Flour Market. Yes, I'm that kind of foodie. When I read a review or someone tells me about something they had that sounds exceptional, distance does not stand in the way! Fortunately for me, there as one remaining when I arrived at 11am. Clearly, other people have heard about the ginger biscuit and they get there much earlier. Immediately I told them to put it aside for me while I checked out the other offerings. Everything looked fantastic. The basket of freshly made banquettes commanded my attention. As did the ham & cheese croissants. There were several varieties of large cookies, brownies, muffins, scones, biscotti and pastries, including gluten-free and vegan options. All sorts of fresh baked breads, the kind that has a nice crust and you know it's has the perfect chew inside. Seeded loaves, Kalamata olive ciabatta, brioche, French baguettes, croutons and rolls. Plus a variety of sandwich loaves - sourdough, dark rye, and my fave, country walnut. Full barista bar with all the regular coffee and tea drinks. The intent was to save the ginger biscuit for breakfast the next day, but the restaurant I had planned on going to for lunch didn't opened until dinner hours, so I took a nibble in the car. The ginger added a slight bit of sweetness and a kick to the buttery biscuit. To me, it's perfection, no need to add jam or butter - but you do you. I like to eat the top first, it's crisp and has the perfect texture. I ate the entire biscuit on my ride home, regretting it only because it would have been wonderful with a cup of tea. Next time I will definitely get two! They sell bags of their homemade granola as well. Lots of seeds, nuts, grains and dried fruit amongst the variations. Even a crystallized ginger granola that I forgot to grab so I will definitely have to go back! Darn! Inside is cozy, lots of wood, brick and there are a variety of seating arrangements. Even a large table for groups or individuals working on their laptops. Outside the street has been converted into seating areas, a communal space for the several restaurants on this little corner of NE Killingsworth.

A kind woman who looked to be in her mid 60s served us delicious food. Had a great atmosphere and nice people.

    Almond croissant and drip coffee

Beautiful little bakery located int the Alberta Arts District. The bakery was clean, with indoor and outdoor seating, and lots of windows and sunlight. The staff was very friendly and prompt. They only offer drip coffee, but it was good...unfortunately the almond croissant was not. It was flat, dense, dry, and the filling was not spread evenly throughout the pastry instead it was just in a ball in the middle. There were other pastries to choose from and also loafs of bread, so I will definitely give this place another try!

Veg open face sando with eggs and potato. Danish remoulade. Ridiculous.

Food was so good and this place is so cute. Def a hidden gem in the neighborhood. I prefer this place for a casual breakfast over many other of the amazing options in the area. And that is saying something. The brunch salad and veg open faced sandwich, pictured, served after 11:30am was amazeballs. So good! Service was also super good. Sweet people work here. Get the ginger scone. Worth it! P.s. no espresso but great cold brew. Extracto is right around the corner if you must have it.

Orange cardamom sticky bun - great texture and pleasantly not overly sweet!
    Kathy S.

Yum! Favorite new place in the neighborhood to buy bread! Love the walnut levain. Great croissants/pastries too. Got the orange cardamom sticky bun. To my pleasant surprise, it wasn't overly sweet, just a subtle sweetness with ground cardamom and bits of caramelized orange peel. It was also uniquely crunchy/flaky on the outside! The Kouign Amann was AMAZING! Layers of deliciousness! It was so satisfying to "peel" and eat this!

    Sticky bun...yum!!!

Love this new neighbor gem! It is perfectly decorated with an amazing selection of pastries, bread and desserts. They feature fresh brewed Marigold coffee as well. The owner is super friendly. I can see this being a frequent stop for us! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Our meals have been tasty, and the portion size options provide for every level of need. We have appreciated the staff's willingness to help introduce us to new menu items, with a special shout-out for the Kalua Pork, Teriaki Chicken, Pear Paradise, and the special Coconut Cake that was available during one of our visits. This is one of our favorite spots on a sunny day for great food and time on their outdoor patio. Thanks again to the Noho's Team!

So I decided to head back and try it again. This is purely the opinion of a local Hawaiian. The actual review: Overall the resturant had a good vibe. Staff was very welcoming. Our server was very helpful in making my decision of the menu. Korean Mix plate was recomended as it was a top seller. I overall enjoyed the meal the portions were huge! So defintely come hungry or prepared for left overs. I will say the Chicken wasn't my favorite. It was bad but didn't wow me. The Kalbi (short ribs) were really tasting and very tender. If you like Garlic the korean style food is for you. Pupu Platter: It's a sampler platter is a great way to try a couple things. The Mochicko Chicken was pretty good. Never had it in strips but overall tasted good. The Kalua Pig Egg Rolls were not my favorite. I foudn the Kalua pig very bland. Hamburger Steak: This was pretty good. The gravy was on point and who doesn't love grilled onions? The only thing I had about the burgers was they were a little tough and a little over cooked. made it a bit like bricks.
