Brownie with a bite out of it. Couldn't wait

Still awesome. I have gone multiple times now for the brownies the only ones I have had that are better are my own. The petite baguette was perfect for a sandwich and also dinner bread. I have also had a croissant here too and it is so flaky and good. My mouth is watering and saying let's go again!!

Loved this spot! Came here and grabbed a rhubarb tart but was so enticed to get so many more things, especially the sweet potato doughnut! Reasonably priced, nice interior, and friendly staff!

I really didn't like the pretzel baguette thing that the apple, bacon, chevre sandwich came on. It didn't have much pretzel flavor and the texture just felt kinda stale to me. I was hoping for much higher quality from a bakery. it was also a little pricey. About $13 iirc but it was really small. I probably would have needed three of them to actual satisfy me, even just as brunch.

Carrots coconut walnut muffin is divine! Always get my baked goods from here. Fantastic breads, quiche, and croissants!

My go to place for quiche, a coffee, and the most delicious baked goods. Everything I've ever ordered has been superb. You can never go wrong with a muffin or baked bread.

Came here while visiting at the recommendation of a local friend. We're big bread nerds - bake own sourdough and pastries using largely Tartine methods for about 20 years, enjoy finding great bread when we travel. Little T was excellent! We got: -croissant (delicious, light, shattering crust and perfect honeycomb interior) -kouign amann (delicious, lighter and less sweet than most versions I've had elsewhere - enjoyed it, though stylistically unique for the this type of pastry, more like a slightly caramel-lacquered croissant than dense, sticky-sweet kouign amann I've had in the SF area or Brittany) -Demi baguette -whole meal country loaf - we haven't cracked into this yet but a cafe we ate at yesterday served their fancy toasts on this Little T bread The breads are for breakfast tomorrow but they look, feel, and smell amazing. Pastries were top notch. The space is cute - we will come back next time we are in PDX.

The pastries were great but nothing to write home about though for me it's already a win. I agree with other reviews saying that the workers could be nicer. They don't smile :) I might go there again if I'm ever in the area but won't go on purpose.

Everything is very high quantity. It's very apparent that the bakers are very experienced.

Walking in less than an hour before closing, we were surprised to see most of the items still in stock! We ended up picking four things to try: Vanilla Bean Kouign Amann ($7) - This pasty has a sweet yet salty exterior that's complementary in flavor rather than clashing. It's accentuated with a crunchy glazed and caramelized sugar layer that's on the sweeter side. The interior is interesting. There's a cavernous gap right in the center that's filled with a sickly sweet melted sugar syrup. It's unpleasantly sweet and very cloying. The puffed and filled area is large enough that it compresses the other layers so the kouign amann is dense. I've never had a kouign amann quite this sweet before. (3/5) Meyer Lemon Olive Oil Cake with Thyme ($5.50) - This cake is so moist and rich, thick and dense, fatty and rich, that it feels like I"m eating a slab of butter. I'm sure it has just as many calories too! It's quite sweet, although not nearly to the level of the kouign amann. Overall, it's just a really rich and decadent cake. (4/5) Blueberry + Vanilla Cream Brioche Donut w/ Earl Grey ($6) - The top of the pastry is dressed with a cream that has an unmistakably strong bergomot earl grey taste. I wish there was way more cream - there's essentially only a dab on top! The rest of the donut is filled with a custardy light blueberry and vanilla jam. It's not too sweet and has an excellent high quality blueberry fragrance, creating an exceptionally strong blueberry taste. The jam is not too thick and is somewhat syrupy from sugar. The donut itself is really soft and extremely airy. It's the fluffiest donut I've eaten in a long time. (5/5) Raspberry Rose Cruffin ($8.50) - This pastry has some fun dehydrated raspberries sprinkled right on top of a light and fluffy cream that's not too sweet. The cruffin base is buttery in taste and great lamination even when filled with the custard and rose/raspberry cream. This is a heavy cruffin that's very filling. (5/5) Twisted Croissant certainly does some some really delectable treats. It's one of my favorite bakeries in Portland!

Crispy, airy, buttery and oh, so delicate, my raspberry cruffin was the dessert dreams are made of! If you've never had a cruffin... what are you waiting for?! It's croissant dough baked into a muffin shape. And the particular version I ordered today was filled with sweet and creamy vanilla custard and raspberry jelly. My mouth is watering describing this now, a true sign I'll be returning to experience this delicacy time and time again. There are three locations of Twisted Croissant in Portland, and this is the only one I've visited. The interior has a classic Parisian bakery vibe, clad in white subway tile from floor to ceiling. The bakery case in front of the store is beautifully stocked with fresh pastries, perfect for enjoying with a cup of coffee or tea. However, be advised, there are only two tables in the back of their public space, so it's not particularly inviting space to sit and enjoy your breakfast. Given the location, I assume there is outdoor seating in the summer months, but don't quote me on that. Regardless, run here if you haven't been. These baked goods are worth the visit!
