After receiving three quotes from plumbing companies, including one that ultimately contradicted its own pricing and initial quote, I decided to choose Flow Right. The first two quotes were only going to replace the metal pipes under my house and line the inside of the pipes that run from the yard out the street (keeping the old metal pipes). But for the same price, Flow Right did a complete replacement of ALL pipes with new, non corroding ABS pipes. And not to get into the whole backstory, but there was a small request that was that was verbally agreed to that I thought they might renege on. But they kept their promise and completed the task at no extra charge as per our agreement. I appreciate their honesty and ethical behavior. Residential Service in Santee On February 22nd, 2024, I had an appointment with Flow Right to send someone out to investigate where leaks underneath the house were originating from. This required the plumbing specialist going underneath the house in the crawlspace. Flow Right sent out Plumbing Tech/Specialist Kenny. Plumbing Tech Kenny was punctual, arriving when promised, which immediately set a positive tone for the visit. He was courteous, he put me at ease, especially considering the inconvenience of dealing with a plumbing problem. From the moment he arrived, it was evident that I was in capable hands. Plumbing Tech Kenny did not hesitate to suit up, and crawl around underneath the house, which was extremely wet and almost swamp-like, due to ongoing, long-term leaks. It is with a very happy and grateful sentiment that I write this review for the Flow Right plumbing team. Since moving into an older house, I kept having plumbing problems due to the fact that the majority of the pipes were made of metal and were rusty and old. This time, however, the pipes had developed cracks and were leaking gas and water into the ground under my home, and as a result, created a foul smell at the front of the house. I initially thought this smell was from a dead rodent under the home but it turned out to be a much bigger problem. At first, I turned to a well advertised and bigger plumbing company here in San Diego, but they way they carelessly handled the estimate visit to my home made me feel uneasy. Luckily, I found Flow Right on Yelp when I searched for other reputable local plumbing companies. When I looked into the plumbing work they specialized in, they seemed like a promising company who specialized in larger plumbing projects. I called Flow Right for an estimate and the owner of the company, Kenny, answered the phone and after learning about my plumbing problem, arrived at my house in half an hour.  He then donned the cover-up and mask and went to the crawlspace to assess the damage of the pipes himself.  Kenny promised to send me an estimate shortly and he did, with a clear scope of work and a very reasonable price quote.  I accepted the contract immediately and the next morning, 2 team members showed up at my home at 8:30 sharp, went inside the crawlspace and proceeded to remove all the broken metal pipes and replace them with ABS plastic pipes.  When the work was finished, I was asked to turn on all the faucets in the house to check for water leaking, but everything was perfect. The Flow Right team members were professional, diligent, experienced, and focused and they managed to finish this huge project in 5 hours.  I was so impressed because the previous well advertised and bigger company estimated that the work would take 2 full days, if not longer. Had a sewer leak and called Flow Right on a Saturday. Didn't think they'd pick up but sure enough Kenny did on the second ring! After I told him what was going on he told me it sounded like the sewer lines needed to be cleared and although they don't do that, suggested I call Bairds Drains who came out 2 hours later. With the lines cleared fortunately the leak stopped! Outstanding on every front. They got us a very reasonable quote quickly and got to work equally fast. The job was professional and results were perfect. The owners Kenny and Jess were on site for the evaluation so we got it straight from the boss from the start. One of them was present each day during the work as well making sure it was done right. They were able to work around our brick staircase and front sidewalk with outstanding creativity and hard work. You can barely tell they redid our entire septic, system from toilets to city line. Their finish plumber Ariel is outstanding at his job. He fixed mistakes of plumbers past with minimal damage to the look of the house. (I don't have pre photos but he fixed shower faucets, improper drains under sinks, laundry vent, and more) He also dealt with 5 or so unforeseen problems at minimal extra cost which saved me from damage and headaches in the future. These guys are awesome!!! University Heights, 90 year old house with old rotten/broken cast iron sewer pipes that have been a problem for 30 years. The crawl space (which it is not) under the house is made for moles. I desperately needed help and called Flow Right for an estimate to replace all cast iron pipes. When I gave Kenny my address he said the week before they had done work for my neighbor directly across the street, My neighbor found them from a neighbor one block over. Kenny Castro took our call himself and then came out on Friday to give us an estimate; he and his crew came on Saturday morning and took care of the job in the dreadful 90 degree heat. We had a stinky leak under our house and called Flow Right. They came out the same day we called and were able to schedule the repair the next day. He also checked our other pipes and recommended updating the oldest ones. They had it fixed the same day within hours. We have a raised foundation so it wasn't a slab leak. We realized we had a plumbing problem the day our toilets clogged up and we couldn't get them unclogged. It turns out that our 60 year old house has old cast iron pipes. We bought an older property that unfortunately came with a very old septic tank and no connection to sewer. I'd spoken to a number of plumbing companies that (either through license limitations or because of the scope of the job) weren't able to help us. The difficulty of decommissioning both the tank and tying in to the city sewer line at the same time was further complicated by COVID stipulations. The city of Chula Vista was understandably understaffed during this time and this made procuring permits and inspections tough to do. Flow Right were extremely patient with our rather odd situation and helped immensely with getting everything organized. Kenny and his team were very communicative and approachable throughout the whole process. When we finally got everything good to go, they coordinated with the city for final approval and got the job done quickly and with very minimal disruption to our home life.
