Color and cut total $250, including the extortion tip of 15% (you have an option to pay what you want but the hurried stare from the "artist" intimidated me). I felt rushed, ignored, I had to keep asking questions what she was doing. She seemed so bored - she could have just been tired from standing on 4-inch heels for the 3 hours I was there. Nice color but the cut never looked the same after I washed it. I had to go get it redone by someone who was interested in how I care for my hair. 250? Yikes, not again. read more

I'm not big on salon visits due to the horrible experiences I've had in the past, but I've got to say I'm so glad I booked an appointment here. The staff is so friendly! Adorable, 2 minutes from my house, free wine. I thought I had found my new salon. The in-salon experience was nice, my hair looked great when I left without much examination (amazing what a good blowout will do) and I was elated. Once I was looking at my hair at home, I realized entire chunks of it were a solid TWO/THREE inches longer than the base layer. They hadn't even been cut! On top of that, the layers were extremely poorly blended and just look like square-edged chunks that I cut myself. I will say, I hate confrontation so I did not want to go in and ask them to resolve it (or worse, touch my hair again), so I have no idea if they would have handled if I did do that. I just recommend if you have a lot of hair and a challenging texture, avoid avoid avoid. I've heard they do a great job with color -- so if that's your main need, maybe it's a great fit. If you're just looking for a haircut, look elsewhere. read more

If you can't honor a clients appt time esp when it was made almost 2 weeks prior, you should not have a cancellation policy charging clients for canceling or rescheduling. I was first told a stylist was sick then told stylist was running behind with the previous client. Regardless of which one is true, if the stylist was sick- I should have been notified before just 15 minutes prior to my appt time near the end of the day. read more

She paid attention to everything I was saying she also made sure to make me aware of what she was doing, when she was doing it. I loved this as I can be very anxious. I got a nice hair cut from Erica. I loved it! She did a great job on my hair, that I'm even putting it up as my Pic. She booked me for a $250 balayage which I called to reschedule. When I called to reschedule, the girl on the other end put me on hold and then hung up on me. When I called back, she told me that her stylist could not make that appointment up and that they were just going to cancel me. They were very rude, and don't know how to handle themselves professionally. It was also evident that they didn't want my business because I didn't even get the chance to find a date to reschedule for even if i was late to call by a 10min time gap. I went to flowe Studio a week ago yesterday. I drove 45 minutes for my appointment. I will try to keep this straight to the point. I went to see stylist Jordan (owner) Who came highly recommended by a friend. The salon is small but beautiful! I was greeted with friendly smile's. I went in for a balayage that resulted my hair to be over processed as well as green in color. I email Jordan pictures of my hair in Indoor and outdoor light etc. After much thought and noticing how damage my hair was in my email I requested a refund. I was offered to have my hair fixed by the stylist however I was not willing to do so after she called, because the situation was poorly handled...Needless to say she asked if I had wash my hair or done something to it? she even hang up on me... I was refunded half of my service. I hope this experience helps this business owner and hair care professional to have a proper client etiquette. read more

It's been a few weeks since my cut and highlight and it's taken me this long to calm down enough to write this. I went to Brittany and my hair is FRIED. I'm naturally a blonde and like to go pretty light. I've gone to plenty of stylist that can get me there without destroying my hair. The reason I went to Flowe was because its in my 'hood and I was hoping to find a place closer. That turned out to be a big mistake. I specifically pointed out and told her to be careful with the fine baby hairs around my face and she said she would stay away from bleaching those. Instead, they all get singed off about an inch from my scalp, so when I pull my hair back for a pony tail, I look like a frizzed out whack. It will literally take years to grow these back out. The color hasn't held well and has already turned pretty yellow. The studio is cute but they don't keep it very clean... there were hairballs and dust everywhere. For around $250, I really expected better. read more

I have gotten into this situation where i was going across town the to get the haircut i need and to another person to do my color and as a single momma working full time is IMPOSSIBLE to schedule everything! I just needed something new! I had heard great things about FLOWE from a few friends and when I saw an opening for a chance to cut and do balayage i jumped on it! Unfortunately my kid got sick the day of the appt but Brittany and the team were so SWEET and worked around my schedule to at least at my hair cut that day! Brittany listened to what I needed, really took her time and was so sweet about adjusting her schedule. Once we cut off a bit the owner Jordan chimed in that maybe we should cut a bit more off to freshen up my look. I love that 3 gals there work as a team and give each other and the client feedback. Brittany and I went for it and we loved the result!!!! I usually wait a few days to play with my hair to see how much i really like the cut ( I have VERY thick wavy hair that if cut wrong flips crazy or lays awful) and I gotta say one of the best haircuts I ever got! I can't wait to go back to see Brittany for my balayage and to get my "worn in" color look! Can't say enough about this hard working trio! They definitely have a new customer!!!
