PET Boarding: Not the cats meow! Was quoted over the phone a…read morepickup day and when arrived, that day was a national holiday = paid extra. My quote on location included a $80 "well visit" by a VET, never mentioned to me at making the booking. I was hours away from a flight and trapped = had to sign a bill acceptance with the added fee. Predatory practice, clear and simple. When I came to pick up pets (2) they claimed one "attacked" them before being placed in a car carrier. I went back to see this smelling, small space they had boarded my pets and understood abuse. This same pet has boarded 2X previously with never a report of aggression. Clearly diminished level of service and desperation to add fees to a bill that was already overpriced for a national holiday date added. I suggest any pet owner use TCAP services, as they are trained VETS and fair in their pricing.

My Boston Terrier needs to be seen for a developing small bump on his back. He doesn't seem in pain…read morewhen I touch it, but the bump has grown in size over the last two months. Animal Medical Center has been our doctor for the last 4 years and they know my dogs history - but as other reviewers have recently shared, it's obvious this practice is now driving at profit over people and pets. I'm extremely disappointed with the service--or lack thereof--at this veterinary clinic. When my dog was clearly in distress and needed attention, I was turned away without the basic evaluation I was asking for due to a missed vaccination. I informed the vet to check my dogs medical history; he is a highly allergic Boston Terrier with multiple documented accounts of severe anaphylaxis in response to some, not all, vaccinations. This particular vaccination he needed is one that had been administered in the past and nearly killed my dog back in 2021. He survived but was hospitalized twice in five days, and barely recovered. There was no compassion, no sense of urgency, and no attempt to refer me elsewhere. As a dog Mom, I rely on my vets not only for medical expertise but for understanding, empathy and responsiveness in critical moments. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking here. I won't return to this office and I wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone who wants their pet treated with the humane, loving care and respect they deserve.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. My pet was discharged from the grooming appointment…read morebecause they became anxious during the service. Instead of taking the time to work with them or discussing other options with me, they stopped the grooming altogether and sent my pet home without even completing the service. I understand that not every pet is easy to groom, and safety should always come first. However, I expected more patience, compassion, and professionalism from people who work with animals every day. Anxiety is common in pets, and how it's handled makes a huge difference. Unfortunately, I left feeling like my pet was given up on rather than cared for. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience, especially if your pet is nervous or needs a little extra understanding.

I said I am serious about buying, but how do you expect people to buy your cats if they can't meet them first? He said again, "Are you absolutely sure about wanting to buy this cat?" to which I said yes for the second time. He said "Well you have to be at least 18 or older or have a parent or guardian to adopt."..... I am 26 years old. So I told him I am 26 and he circled back AGAIN and said "Okay well do you think you're actually going to adopt the cat." I left and went straight to Petco where I was holding a cat within the first 3 minutes I was there (and I adopted her too). No wonder PetSmart has a hard time selling their animals, who would want to feel uncomfortable and berated by the staff for simply holding a cat before adopting? You guys need to change your pet handling policy. It's a SHAME you can't even touch the animals before you buy them unless you're "serious", and I was serious! I will most definitely never be coming back here. I don't want to feel uncomfortable for asking to pet a cat and for a place that "loves pets", it's terrible that we aren't allowed to love on them. Petco will have all of my business now!

We have been going to the Flower Mound, Long Prairie Rd. Banfield Hospital for years - probably…read moreshortly after it was built. Through the years we have had 8 dogs (5 have passed) and the treatment they have received from the staff, the vets and the techs has always been above board - just excellent. The staff does amazingly well when it gets crowded, handles irate and upset pet owners in a caring manner & loves the animals that come in by taking gentle care and speaking to them in a soothing manner - no matter what kind of chaos is going around! As to our personal experience, they have stayed late when we called for a couple of emergencies - close to 7 pm. They have been awesome when 5 of our fur babies passed away; they have a little bed or our lap when a dog has to be put down, they are just sweet and gracious and most gentle with the dog. They are like family to us, so much so, that when we retire - we are making sure to stay local in order to keep these awesome folks as our Dogs veterinary care givers. The vets and their techs are extremely knowledgeable, ask questions, are thorough in their exams, call back when asked, call during extended treatment to check on our dogs. Drs Cotter and Konda are just exemplary doctors - the best as far as I am concerned All of our dogs have been on the wellness insurance plans - a great blessing as we have incurred a lot of veterinary visits over the years. In short, we cannot more highly recommend this wonderful group of smart, caring and hard working people - they are truly the best in the business of caring for animals.
