This is my local place, the owners do great work. All the staff are friendly. My usual is to get a gel set and a pedicure. The place is clean, atmosphere is inviting. Music playing in the background. With the pandemic they have shields between the manicurist and you, masks enforced. Different protocols like using a brush to clean your nails, no longer out. Precautionary is a plus. Prices have increased due to pandemic, but there's a stamp card incentive program, ask them about it. I have been going here for 4 years.

I made an appointment for removal & dip powder set and had Phil as my technician. I put a solid 3 because: 1. I chose a glitter (bling bling), which was a beautiful chunky silver. We went through the process of applying and what not. It went wrong when I believe he applied a powder to smooth out the glitter. The glitter then turned into a dark blue. I asked for him to change the glitter because it wasn't what I wanted. I was charged for the removals when technically they should of known the ins and out of the products they were using on customers. 2. His filing was quite ruff. He literally filed my skin on a few of my nails. Which I've flinched & he has noticed and addressed it but still did it a few more times. I'm not bashing on the business. We did take 2 hours for dip nails due to the glitter nails turning out to be the wrong color. The nails came out good. I'm just sharing what I've experienced that may help others.

I came as a walk-in this morning and they were booked with appts. I was asked if I could come back a little later but explained I had 2 babies at home with a sitter and kindly thanked them expecting to leave. However they instead called in another nail tech that lives near by to assist. The manager Phil ended up being my technician and he took his time and really gave his all even in the small details. This mean a lot to me since it's not often I'm able to break away from home and be pampered. I was so appreciative that I wasn't rushed and the quality of my gel mani and pedi were beyond what I receive at other salons. Thanks Phil for making the best of my time out of the house today. My nails look amazing and my skin feels great. Excited to have found my new regular salon!

By far the best salon ive been to. Amy is the owner of this establishment and is a goddess when it comes to nails. i will never let anyone else touch them again. She is such a perfectionist and takes her time on your nails to make them just how you ask. The place is clean and nicely decorated. I came here before it was bought by and they are no question better then beforeWHY DON'T MORE PEOPLE COME TO THIS PLACE??? Update: just adding more pictures of the sets she gives me. The first time I came here was with my sister, I got the guy and she got the shorter older Asian lady. The guy took his time on my nails and they ended up looking pretty good. He was being kinda rude and his tone of voice was unpleasant and he made me feel like I was a nuisance but I was happy with my nails. The lady my sister had made her thumb bleed a little but besides that, her nails were good. The second time I came here by myself, I got the guy again. I wanted to ask for someone else but he did a good job the first time so I thought it'd be okay. He ended up cutting a lot of my skin off on my thumb instead of my cuticle. He apologized but he really messed up on my nails. The nail polish job was awful and all my cuticles look disgusting. I was very disappointed with the results and it made me not want to get my nails done anywhere anymore. Im sure the women there do a great job since they have a lot of happy customers but based on my experience, I definitely wouldn't come back.

I'm a very extremely picky person on how my nails are done, this is my holy grail of nail shops. Here are some points why I say that: It doesn't smell when you walk in like a place full of chemicals floating around. They are very diligent and clean. Consistent outcome on your nails. They have excellent customer service and is honest about the time they have and don't make you wait a long time. They provide you options for a different tech if the tech you are scheduled with is falling behind. They pay attention to what you are saying. And most importantly they take their time with you to get it right, not try to rush you out the door. Give this place a try. You will have no regrets

I recently moved to sacramento from the bay and been searching for a nail salon that I like. I went to 5 different nail salons & still wasn't in love with how they did my nails until recently! I am ver particular with my nails, not picky but like my nails to look nice & appreciate when they take the time to make it look nice and not do a sloppy job. Amy has been wonderful & is an amazing nail tech. I've been there twice & I've gotten so many compliments on my nails! She is super sweet & gentle! The salon itself is clean & everyone is super friendly. I really recommend this place!

Wonderful nail shop. Well known in this neighborhood, where everyone feels at home. I left with Pearl chrome nails. Sooo pretty. I've been here many times and I can tell you they aim to please. They are very conscientious about cleanliness and carefulness. This shop is a clean shop. They have the new creams which are very on point right now. I return here often. read more

I hate to leave a bad review for a small business, but I had a really bad experience here and I hope the can use the constructive criticism to make improvements. My friend and I got pedicures at the same time -- the most expensive one on the menu (jelly). My friend was done almost an hour before I was because the woman working on me was brand new and it truly seemed like the first time she had ever done this. The polish was all over my toes, is bumpy and uneven and multiple people had to come over and check her work / fix it. Like I said, i paid for the most expensive pedicure treatment which was supposed to come with callous removal, paraffin wax, and hot stones. The callous removal was very disappointing, she barely skirted around the perimeter of my foot and did very little scrubbing. It's supposed to tickle, but she barely touched me, plus she skipped the paraffin wax entirely. I will say she gave a good massage though! This whole experience took almost 3 hours!! I feel bad, I know this woman was doing her best, but she needs more training. It's not fair that I paid full price to be training experience for her, I didn't even get what I paid for, it took up my whole afternoon, and it is sloppy. read more

I have been going here for about 30 years. They used to do a great mani/pedi/tip. It now depends on who you get and if it's not Phil, don't waste your money. They do overcharge for what you "get," my pedicure rub was lazy and i didn't even get one with my manicure. They have over-painted their nail color samples so many times you can't even get the correct color. Their equipment is covered in Saran-Wrap because they're so cheap. Tacky! It's a cash grab, don't waste your money. I hate leaving this review, as I said, I've been a patron for decades, brought countless people to get manis/pedis done with me, NEVER will go there again. read more

Not timely, not professional, rude employees. Have an appt that you leave work early for? That doesn't matter lol you'll get there & be told they don't have time for your appt anymore. This place is the most unprofessional, inconsiderate, dirty little gross hole in the wall salon I have ever come across & I feel terrible for anyone else who falls victim to their shitty service. read more

I have been coming here for awhile now & they consistently do a great job! I get dip manicures regularly, sometimes eyebrow waxing & toes done too. I am always happy and everyone is friendly. I know this place has some mixed reviews along with so many others in our area, but I've never had a problem. I go in for a gel manicure and pedicure every few weeks. My favorite nail tech for my manicures is Kristen as well as the owner who sits in the first booth! The other ladies do a nice job as well. Like most nail salons if you go when you are pressed for time or when they are busy, then your experience may be different but all-in-all I would totally recommend this place. read more

I wish I could rate this place higher. I have been here a few times over the last 4 years hoping it'll get better but each time I go back I'm disappointed again. The pros: the shop is clean and the people are super friendly. The cons: The Service is very dependent upon who you receive. I've gotten decent services but there's one technician that consistently does a poor job. I wish I knew her name, but when I ask, I can't understand what she's saying. She's older and missing her top teeth. She's very friendly, but does an extremely sloppy job. Today I received a gel manicure and my polish is all over the tips of my nails and I'm actually bleeding from the cuticle trimmers. I can see old polish under my new polish from where she wasn't able to remove it all (light link over a dark red). I asked her to continue attempting to get off the old, but she kept saying it would be fine. I wish I could say I'll try them again, but I think I'm ready to call it quits for good. So much for supporting the neighborhood store. read more

This business was not well maintained. The station I sat at was dirty and the tech doing my nails did not clean or change anything before starting my nails. Also, my nails do not look good. They are thick and mossHe also hurt my cuticles because he was rushing and looking around the whole time. I will not be back. read more

For helping me ring in my 40's.......Thanks Phil!!! My loving sister brought me here for a pedicure. Very quiet and calming when we walked in. Picked out our colors and had a seat in some serious chairs! I'm sold!! Haven't had a pedicure yet and the chairs are enough for me. I think we chkse the Jelly Pedicure. Anyway, whatever it was was amazing. Hot rocks, sugar scrubs, hot wax, the whole nine yards. It was AMAZING!! If memory serves me we were there upwards of an hour and a half. needless to say they take their time and are VERY CLEAN! Thanks again Phil!!! read more

I'm new in town and still haven't found my go-to nail place, and after a visit to Flower Nails over the weekend, I'm unfortunately still on the hunt. Here's why I won't be back: --I called and made an appointment for two people - one basic manicure, one shellac manicure. When we showed up, our services were not performed at the same time. One of us sat the ENTIRE time the other was take care of. What is the point of making appointments and coming together if you don't have time for two services?! --My manicurist wrapped my nails in foil to soak off my old shellac, and left it sit on my fingers for at least 30 mins while she manicured the other guest I came with. I finally spoke up and told her it was starting to burn, and only then did the lead manicurist jump in and try to salvage my appointment. Too late. --Once my manicurist began my manicure (after my friend's was done) I became very weary of her skills. There was an obvious language barrier, and she didn't understand basic requests like square vs round, etc. It became clear she wasn't going to do a good job, so I stopped her and asked to change to a basic manicure with just a buff, no color. --When all was said and done, my friend was charged $12 for a basic manicure. I went to pay for mine and, after making me wait for 30 mins with acetone burning the tips of my fingers, I was charged $18: $12 for the manicure and $6 for shellac removal! Seriously?!?! I have no clue how this place is still in business. Save yourself from ridiculous up-charges, unprofessional treatment, and sub-par delivery of very basic nail services. read more

I've only gone to this place a couple times recently and it's honestly my favorite place I've gone to. The prices are very reasonable and each nail tech is amazing. The place overall is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to a friend or anyone for that matter. If you're new to town or are looking for a new nail place, I'd highly suggest Flower Nails. Today I got a fill with gel polish along with glitter powder and chrome. They have many different polish options as well as design options as well. read more

The best nail place! I have been coming here for almost a year now. Every time I come here Phil always makes my nails so nice. Not only does he make my nails look the best but also makes sure they are healthy. After doing gel for so long he convinced me to do dip powder and from that moment I have not gone back to gel. I never really write reviews but I'm so pleased with this place and how my nails turned out. Was looking for a place near my husbands business because I had been so busy and finally had time to fix my nails. They took me right away, the atmosphere was very pleasing, everyone was super friendly, and they gave me exactly what I wanted. I like short natural looking nails and this place has been the best I've been to thus far. It's kind of far from home but definitely worth the drive for me. So glad I found a new spot! read more

I absolutely love Flower Nails. I have gone there for more than five years. Lilly and Nancy make everyone feel welcome. My favorite manicurist is Sandy, she takes her time and you feel like you are at one of the most luxurious spas in town. Her massage during the pedicures makes your feet release all the stress. Her paint lasts forever. It is true that you do not need an appointment, they will take you as quickly as the next chair opens. Because I want Sandy I have learned to call ahead. This salon is under "New Management" and the salon has been totally updated with new chairs that are wonderful, lovely new floors and very clean always. I have been coming here since the new owner Lily took over and I am very happy with the care and professionalism that she and Halim provide to me. Like most of us girls , we have tried many nail salons to find the right person. I found Amy a few years ago when she worked at another salon. When she left , I followed her to this salon. She is the best nail technician that I have found . I usually get pink and white and occasionally get gel nails for a change and they always come out perfect. I can walk in and usually only wait a couple of minutes. They have a good amount of staff on hand for walk ins. They have a great selection of nail polish colors including gel nail polishes. I went in and got pink and white done with Tammy. The design is beautiful however Tammy was extremely rough! I thought the nails were going to fly off! She made a couple of my fingers bleed. I know your nails usually hurt after getting fake ones put on but she really roughed mine up. And for $35 I should have gotten better quality, some of the nails are uneven :( read more
