This is my local place, the owners do great work. All the staff are friendly. My usual is to get a gel set and a pedicure. The place is clean, atmosphere is inviting. Music playing in the background. With the pandemic they have shields between the manicurist and you, masks enforced. Different protocols like using a brush to clean your nails, no longer out. Precautionary is a plus. Prices have increased due to pandemic, but there's a stamp card incentive program, ask them about it. I have been going here for 4 years.

I made an appointment for removal & dip powder set and had Phil as my technician. I put a solid 3 because: 1. I chose a glitter (bling bling), which was a beautiful chunky silver. We went through the process of applying and what not. It went wrong when I believe he applied a powder to smooth out the glitter. The glitter then turned into a dark blue. I asked for him to change the glitter because it wasn't what I wanted. I was charged for the removals when technically they should of known the ins and out of the products they were using on customers. 2. His filing was quite ruff. He literally filed my skin on a few of my nails. Which I've flinched & he has noticed and addressed it but still did it a few more times. I'm not bashing on the business. We did take 2 hours for dip nails due to the glitter nails turning out to be the wrong color. The nails came out good. I'm just sharing what I've experienced that may help others.

I came as a walk-in this morning and they were booked with appts. I was asked if I could come back a little later but explained I had 2 babies at home with a sitter and kindly thanked them expecting to leave. However they instead called in another nail tech that lives near by to assist. The manager Phil ended up being my technician and he took his time and really gave his all even in the small details. This mean a lot to me since it's not often I'm able to break away from home and be pampered. I was so appreciative that I wasn't rushed and the quality of my gel mani and pedi were beyond what I receive at other salons. Thanks Phil for making the best of my time out of the house today. My nails look amazing and my skin feels great. Excited to have found my new regular salon!

By far the best salon ive been to. Amy is the owner of this establishment and is a goddess when it comes to nails. i will never let anyone else touch them again. She is such a perfectionist and takes her time on your nails to make them just how you ask. The place is clean and nicely decorated. I came here before it was bought by and they are no question better then beforeWHY DON'T MORE PEOPLE COME TO THIS PLACE??? Update: just adding more pictures of the sets she gives me. She is the best!

The first time I came here was with my sister, I got the guy and she got the shorter older Asian lady. The guy took his time on my nails and they ended up looking pretty good. He was being kinda rude and his tone of voice was unpleasant and he made me feel like I was a nuisance but I was happy with my nails. The lady my sister had made her thumb bleed a little but besides that, her nails were good. The second time I came here by myself, I got the guy again. I wanted to ask for someone else but he did a good job the first time so I thought it'd be okay. He ended up cutting a lot of my skin off on my thumb instead of my cuticle. He apologized but he really messed up on my nails. The nail polish job was awful and all my cuticles look disgusting. I was very disappointed with the results and it made me not want to get my nails done anywhere anymore. Im sure the women there do a great job since they have a lot of happy customers but based on my experience, I definitely wouldn't come back.

I'm a very extremely picky person on how my nails are done, this is my holy grail of nail shops. Here are some points why I say that: It doesn't smell when you walk in like a place full of chemicals floating around. They are very diligent and clean. Consistent outcome on your nails. They have excellent customer service and is honest about the time they have and don't make you wait a long time. They provide you options for a different tech if the tech you are scheduled with is falling behind. They pay attention to what you are saying. And most importantly they take their time with you to get it right, not try to rush you out the door. Give this place a try. You will have no regrets

I recently moved to sacramento from the bay and been searching for a nail salon that I like. I went to 5 different nail salons & still wasn't in love with how they did my nails until recently! I am ver particular with my nails, not picky but like my nails to look nice & appreciate when they take the time to make it look nice and not do a sloppy job. Amy has been wonderful & is an amazing nail tech. I've been there twice & I've gotten so many compliments on my nails! She is super sweet & gentle! The salon itself is clean & everyone is super friendly. I really recommend this place!

The team at flower is professional, considerate and most importantly they do quality work. It's a nice quiet and small salon where you can actually enjoy your experience. You are not rushed in and out. Additionally, the work they do LASTS! I'm Hard on my mani/pedi and when I go back after 2-3 weeks I'm not a complete mess, everything still looks good but ready for a refresh...and I'm ready to sit in the massage chair for a little peace and quiet. You do have to make an appointment. This is not your "pick a color" in and out place, but planning ahead is well worth it! read more

Came here for the first time with my mom today and my mom had Phillip do her nails and I think an older lady did mine, I can't recall her name. I would highly recommend this place! I love this nail salon! I'd say it's top 2 in the Sacramento area. I've been to over 20 nail shops and I have to say, my first impression of the shop is that it is VERY clean, and they are extremely nice and communicate with customers pretty well. The color selection is EXTREMELY wild. They have literally tons of colors and my favorite shades are pastels and nudes, which they have a large variety of. Phil did my nails, ask for him! He's super nice and funny. Also, I liked how he shaped my nails. I had coffin shape and he did them so nice. They also have discounts for high school students so that's really great. The place is clean. But, Amy's husband started doing nails/pedis and he sucks. SORRY. To be honest I dont want a man between my Iegs massage me etc....its just wierd plus he does a very "sensual" style massage which is off putting. 2nd visit I specified a female for my pedi and she was great. 3rd visit after I told her no men on my pedi she put him on me anyways. He is a rank amateur doesnt cut the cuticle skin AT ALL. Im a cyclist so I wear clip in cycling shoes and therefore I neen my toes very short. . I told him they are too long after he filed them, and he had the unmitigated audacity to say No they are not too long. REALLY. . HOW MANY YRS HAVE YOU BEEN WEARING TOENAIL POLISH AND HEELS ETC. STUPID AND typical response from a guy who doesnt belong in a nail salon. THEN, as I go to pay she states she undercharged the last visit. I had no problem paying but I am not sure she actually did undercharge me. In THIS COUNTRY IF YOU SCREW UP THE AMOUNT YOU CHARGE SOMEONE thats your mistake and you eat IT. P,YS IM NOT pisitive sitive I was undercharged last time. Sonetimes the culture gap is just too big to bridge. Wont be back read more

I came in for a pedicure after attempting to go elsewhere that gave horrid customer service, so I was already in a salty mood. As soon as I walked in, that mood began to lift! I had called ahead, so they were ready for me. I got the Lavender Spa pedicure. Kristen, my pedicurist, was AHHHHHMAZING! She was gentle on my toes, her massage felt so soothing, and I had my first hot stone massage ever. She was sweet and friendly, but not so chatty that I couldn't unwind (I'm usually friendly, but when I have a pedi done, I prefer to zone out and focus on the sensations.). The salon smelled well-ventilated and the music was peaceful. I've found my new pedi place! read more

I went to this salon and was luckily able to get right in at the last minute. I never knew how close to my house it is. Phil gave the best pedicure. He is also the manager and wants feedback on your service. Tracy did my fill and design and it was pain free (no accidental skin contact with dremel) and was very friendly. I highly recommend going here and referring once you experience it. read more

Needed my nails done.. looked on yelp for my normal place opened at 10a.. nope at 11a.. I had a full day planned and couldn't wait. I looked around and found this place and opened now!! Called ahead said I was coming. When I got there I was greeted and immediately seated and my mani and pedicure began. Literally the worst. The people are pleasant, but they rushed through my pedicure and manicure. I paid 50 dollars and I can still see the old color of my nails through the new color that they painted over. As well as finger nail polish on my skin. Would not recommend this palace at all. read more

I love this place. Been going here for years. They do a great job and are reasonably priced. Sometimes if you go in on a busy day you might have to wait but I just have enough balls to ask how long and I tell them if I wait even one minute longer I'm out. Haven't had to do it yet but that is because they know me and they know that I don't believe it when they say "5 minutes" like all the other places. =] read more

December 2013; I've been coming here for a year now. I stumbled in here while waiting for my Thai food order from the restaurant a couple doors down. I met Sandy Ly the first time and have been coming to see her all year. Sandy is absolutely AWESOME!!!! She is such a sweetheart and is very talented! Their prices were great too! Absolutely NO complaints! So, why just one star? I called to make an appt with Sandy for my Xmas mani/pedi and they said she was on vacation. Fortunately, she had given me her cell number, so I called her cell. She wasn't on vacation.....she quit and moved to a new location. Why lie? What is the point of that? Sandy is happily working elsewhere, so please message me if you'd like her contact info. She didn't tell ANY of her customers that she was moving so she is having to rebuild her client base. She was so happy to see me and appreciative that I would come to her new location. I'll support someone like this all day long versus people who lie! Truth hurts sometimes....these people need to change their business tactics! read more

Amy is the best nail tech and everyone here is so friendly. I'm super picky about my nails but Amy is able to shape them exactly how I want. I often show her pictures of nail designs that I find and she is great at recreating them for me. Plus, they are reasonably priced, which is especially important as a college student. This is my favorite nail salon to go to! I've never had a better job done on my nails, and everyone is so friendly. My step-mom joined me for manis/pedis while visiting from Colorado and she threatened to kidnap the staff and bring them back to Colorado with her. They are great with my 5 year old daughter too. Back at Flower Nails and very happy! New owners, new people! Nice, clean place and Tina does a fabulous job! Used to go here a couple of years ago, but left when Lilly wasn't there anymore and was stuck it someone I didn't know, who was rough and didn't seem to know what she was doing. Then I went to a shop I had been to years before and found Tina who had done my nails before. After a couple of years she moved to Flower Nails and I followed her. There are new owners and I'm a very happy customer again! read more

I finally found my "go to" nails salon! I first came in for a fill and was blown away by the exceptional customer service and cleanliness. A few days later I returned for a pedicure and was once again so happy. They actually listened to my requests with my fill (I like my nails short and oval shaped). Typically I get attitude and it's never the way I want but I'm never comfortable to keep asking them to fix it. A pedicure bath liner was used and the cart was very clean and I was comfortable with the instruments being used. Highly recommend! I will only come here from now on! :) read more

I tried this place while the previous owner was still there, they did such a horrible job that I needed to go back and have them make some corrections. Lucky for me the new owner, Lily, was just taking over. I have really weak nails and never had good luck with the gel for some reason the manicure holds longer the way Lily does it. The prices are very reasonable. I have finally found a salon that I want to go back to. read more

Lilly, the previous owner sold this shop really without notice to her loyal customers. to my surprise.. ;( .. The new owner is all about the up selling...I notice the shop is struggling a bit the ladies are doing the best they can. They went up a bit on the prices..$2.00 or more depending on your service so buyer beware. I will be surprised if this shop doesn't change hands by the end of the year. Too bad. good location. They do have a great Esthetician on staff named Holly. read more

Amazing here!! I have been here a few times now for gel manicures and pedicures and I feel like I get the royal treatment every time! Don't be in a rush when you come here, and don't be like the lady next to me who just walked in 4 minutes before they close asking for an hour long pedicure! They massage for super long compared to other places I've been to and their attention to detail is amazing! I highly recommend this place! read more

The therapists wear scrubs and present themselves very professionally, which I really appreciate ,it makes you feel like you're in good hands right away. The rooms have such a relaxing ambiance ,dim lighting, peaceful vibes, and always clean. You can tell they take pride in their space. And the massages? They hit every single time. I've tried three different therapists and ALL of them were amazing. I won't even say who I see because honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. It's worth every penny. I always leave feeling lighter, less tense, and completely relaxed. I usually end up falling asleep at some point ,that's how comfortable it is. The only small downside for me is the front massage room can be a little noisy since it's near the main road, and you can sometimes hear cars passing. But even with that, I still manage to fully relax. Overall, this place has become part of my self-care routine. I absolutely love Flower Nails. I have gone there for more than five years. Lilly and Nancy make everyone feel welcome. My favorite manicurist is Sandy, she takes her time and you feel like you are at one of the most luxurious spas in town. Her massage during the pedicures makes your feet release all the stress. Her paint lasts forever. It is true that you do not need an appointment, they will take you as quickly as the next chair opens. Because I want Sandy I have learned to call ahead. I went in and got pink and white done with Tammy. The design is beautiful however Tammy was extremely rough! I thought the nails were going to fly off! She made a couple of my fingers bleed. I know your nails usually hurt after getting fake ones put on but she really roughed mine up. And for $35 I should have gotten better quality, some of the nails are uneven :( read more
