Yet another beautiful arrangement by Myrna!

Myrna has been putting together flower arrangements for me for years and it really has been 5-stars every single time. I could not recommend her more.

Pin's floral arrangements for our celebration were GORGEOUS! We received so many compliments on the flowers. She used a beautiful variety of colors, textures, and even added some dahlias (our favorite!) We highly recommend Pin from Flowers by Myrna.

I'm sad I haven't written a review until now! We have been going to Myrna for YEARS. I don't know exactly how many...I do remember 8th grade graduation for the daughter being one occasion, and that was 8 years ago. But there have been many, many, many flower arrangements we've gone to Myrna for, and never been disappointed. Most recently I was on College Ave and spied the flower shop over across from Safeway and almost went there since it was convenient, then thought - wait - I want to give business to own neighborhood florist who's been there for us for all these years. So I pulled in on Saturday, July 17, 2021 around 11am and asked for an arrangement to take as a hostess gift for a get-together where I knew others would bring homemade food but I currently have no kitchen, so could not do so. I originally thought it would be pretty to have all white flowers...no vase...just a big bunch. But I left with a beautiful colorful arrangement in a low vase after walking through the shop with Myrna and looking at flowers and options. And it is gorgeous (see photo). She said it would take around 15 minutes, so doggy and I wandered the village, then came back and yep, she was putting the finishing touches on. Actually, there was time for me to add a couple of cool flowers I had spied in the shop in a different color, so she added those with no problem. Myrna is friendly and direct, gives ideas when you ask but also works with your ideas even if they're maybe not the most design-savvy LOL. She'll ask for your budget and then doesn't have a problem staying within it. Don't hesitate to go to her!

Purchased a bouquet for my gf on Valentines Day. I called the day before and requested an arrangement of $100-130 and mentioned a few flowers I'd like to see in it and said I'd pick it up the next day. When I arrived, it was all ready to go and I was blown away at how awesome it was! The flowers were so fresh and are still fresh over a week later! Will definitely be back!

The flowers were all beautiful, the handheld bouquets were bright and a great balance of greenery and florals. The extra large statement vases really popped at the ceremony and added a pop of color and brightness to the dining area. We received so many compliments from the guests on how beautiful the flowers were.

I've been going to Myrna for 20 years to buy a nice bouquet or centerpiece for a party. When it was time to get married I knew she would be who I would use. Myrna was excellent-- I showed her a photo of my flower "inspiration " for the wedding and she took it from there. She was so easy to work with and I had all the confidence everything would turn out lovely. That's an understatement! The church ceremony and the reception flowers and centerpieces were stunning. I'm still receiving compliments from guests how beautiful the flowers were. The best part is how affordable everything was! I highly recommend Myrna for your big and small events, you won't be disappointed!

The reviews are totally deserved. I love this florist! I'm usually expecting to be overcharged and unsatisfied. But this was totally the opposite. Feb 14 is the anniversary of my daughter's bike accident and it has been a long journey of recovery that continues. It is always a hard day for her. This was my first time purchasing flowers from Myrna. I saw photos of some of her arrangements online and loved how unique and varied they were. When I called and she asked me what I wanted, I said, "something that exudes joy". The arrangement was stunning! My daughter said it was the best bouquet she has ever received. I DIYed my entire wedding except my bouquet and wedding party/parents' flowers. WOW. I went in mega frazzled the week before begging Myrna to take me on as a client and she killed! Our flowers were beyond perfect and it is killing me that they will soon wilt and I won't be able to enjoy them any more. We had absolutely stunning bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres. Pin is incredible. She did the flowers for my wedding in August 2023 and I was blown away by the beautiful arrangements she did. I got 3 bouquets, a bunch of table centerpieces, boutonnieres, flower crowns, 2 large displays for our ceremony and flowers for the cake. I only gave her some color direction and a few inspo photos and she created the most elegant florals! I also feel that her pricing is really reasonable. Go with Pin for a local Oakland floral expert! read more

I love her flowers and arrangements. And they always last so long!! Longer than any other florist I've been to. I asked for a statement arrangement to fill a wall for the Holidays and last all December, and this is what she created! And there are olive branches, with olives on them. So beautiful. I had pointed to a few things in the shop that I liked, ran a couple errands, came back and she had created the most beautiful statement piece that we can enjoy all holiday season. I've probably had Myrna make more than 10 arrangements for me to give as gifts since I've started coming here about 2 years ago. I usually pick 2-3 of the unique flowers she has, tell her what the arrangement is for, and then let her do the rest. I've always been impressed by her selection of flowers and her skill as a florist. Creative, unique in both what she carries and how she put it together. Reactions from the recipient reinforces my opinion. The pic I've attacjed doesn't do her justice. You'll be glad you stopped by. read more

I needed a bouquet of flowers for a photo shoot and was scrambling to find a florist that morning after my original plan fell through. I arrived and Myrna was super sweet and was able to put together a bouquet that exceeded my expectations! It is a little more expensive but I normally like spending the extra money for a beautiful and a nicely put together (she definitely made sure the bouquet wouldn't fall apart in the car or when you're holding it!) bouquet anyways! I will definitely be back for more!! read more

If you're looking for a truly artful florist with really fair prices ---- Myrna's!!! We absolutely love this florist. I called yesterday, she was closed but answered her phone and put together this arrangement anyway. Every flower is a total specimen. She's really able to understand what you are looking for, yet use her own creativity to make something even better. A friend sent me flowers as a thank you. I wouldn't review except they are so amazing--beautiful, wonderfully arranged so no matter how you look at it, it's gorgeous but different, and they smell like I am standing in a garden! I have never received anything so pretty. Usually florist arrangements are stiff and boring--not these. Myrna has just become my new "go to" for whenever I want to say it with flowers. read more
