Wow. Different. Got there for lunch Jenny was the waitress or Jennifer perhaps. My brother wanted to see a dinner menu as she said he could order off that but she never brought him one so he ordered a burger. but he was upset as he really didn't see a choice. I ordered a soda and The Beyond burger, its delicious, they have brown bread but she wasn't sure if it was vegan or not so I didn't get it, I wished I could though. Our friend ordered fish and chips and while said it was good, she found a worm--she said nothing till we left, one she didn't want to make us sick and two she said it happens in seafood, sometimes. Now I know why I am vegan. It was OK, the service wasn't that great, there were a lot of gaps in between being ready to box everything up and ready to pay the bill + the menu issue. I do not know if I would go back, there are a lot of places to try in Vegas that have a lot more vegan options for me and more than a burger for my brother. read more

Classic and authentic decor greets you once inside the door - a real pub atmosphere. Music is the only thing non traditional. Tables and padded seats are comfy. Service is top notch, quick and helpful. Irish lamb stew had a delicious sauce, with great bread slice. The meat and vegetables are cut rather large, but prepared well. Scotch eggs are great for appetizer and comes with a bit of salad and great corn! Chicken pot pie was very good! Needs an ADA accessible parking space nearby the front entrance. Priced well. I absolutely love this pub. I try to visit it every time I am in Vegas. The staff are super awesome. They know their Irish drinks! Don't see what you like in the drink menu? Ask away! Every drink I've had here has been great. I love to taste a variety of whiskies. If you order the Irish coffee, note it is served with hot coffee if that if your thing. They have happy hour (half off certain appetizers) every day of the week between 3-6pm. All of the food has been good. I have tried several dishes now. The Irish breakfast is very good. It is a decent size, you can share it with someone. It is pretty authentic. Looking to try blood pudding? No need to travel across the ocean, this pub has it and it tastes good (I travel to Ireland often). The homemade potato soup is quite tasty if you're looking for something warm. Whenever I come here with a group, we order the nachos. It is huge, and it is so good. The homemade crisps (chips) and gravy are super tasty if youre a gravy person (which I am). The Irish stew is quite good. Same with the shepherds pie. The fish and chips are also tasty. Ive ordered this multiple times and it never disappoints. The fish is a good size. I really like the beer batter on the fish. We have never been disappointed with our food. Go early to beat the crowds and take advantage of their happy hour. They also have sports games playing. Oh yeah - one side of the building has some casino games and a bar, the other side has the restaurant and a bar AA well. Great service and ambiance! I watched the world cup here and it was packed wall to wall. I ordered the fish and chips which were spectacular and got the 2 pcs which was plenty. As a local, this was our favorite happy hour and lunch spot for years. Family was visiting from out of town. The lunch menu was scaled down with a much smaller menu, but the full menu is posted outside this is very misleading. Our waitress was very rude from the beginning with 6 of us at the table. I wanted the steak and mushroom pie that I was able to order years ago for lunch. The waitress specifically said as long as the kitchen is not backed up then the they should be able to make a the steak and mushroom pie, a few minutes later she came up to us and said the kitchen won't make it. I used to be able to order a side of curry sauce another no from her. For an over $200 tab she was not attentive at all. I once raved about McMullens as my favorite Irish pub in Vegas. I am never coming back. Go to their competition instead. read more

I was here many years ago but never tried the food. This time I ate and I was really impressed. The food is solid. The interior is dark but very loud with a lot of tv's. It's also a bar so a lot of guests are here to drink and watch sports. I'm glad I tried the food and I'll be back for more. I also heard they have a great happy hour that I'll need to try. read more

As close to a true Irish pub as you'll find outside Ireland. Irish food is humble, hearty, and resourceful. It reminds me so much of my grandma's and mom's Polish cooking. You cook with what the land gives you. Potatoes are king, and slow-braised meats turn meltingly tender. Inside it's dark, moody, and full of character. Semi-private booths, dark wood, and walls of artifacts and antiques. The hospitality is unreal. Service was warm and attentive, and shortly after we sat down, a distinguished silver-haired gentleman with a smooth South African accent welcomed us. Our food was delivered by a lovely woman with an Irish lilt, and we learned several staff members are actually from Ireland, so cool! My first Irish coffee was love at first sip: creamy, rich, and the whiskey warms you up slowly like great foreplay. The chicken Florentine was luscious with tender chicken over buttery mashed potatoes in a velvety sauce of garlic, white wine, cheese, mushrooms, and spinach. The steak sandwich was packed with thin, tender slices of top sirloin on ciabatta with horseradish cream, mushrooms, grilled onions, and white Irish cheddar. Even the fries were great. As many times that I've been to the Orleans Casino and Hotel across the street, I've been wanting to go check this place out. Finally made it, and I loved the ambiance and service here. Also, the food and drinks were enjoyable especially during happy hour for half off appetizers. Irish coffee ($10): smooth with a kick of caffeine but would be perfect if served on the rocks, 4/5 stars. Chicken wings: the wings were tasty. We got half buffalo sauce which had a balanced flavor (hot sauce, vinegar, and butter) and the lemon pepper dry rub went well with the juicy chicken, 4/5 stars! Irish Nachos with corned beef ($14 + $8, or $7 + $8 during happy hour): this was typical. I expected layers of flavors but the flavors of the cheese and corned beef were both mild, 3.5/5 stars! Irish Sausage Rolls ($14 or $7 during happy hour): this was a glorified pigs in a blanket. Not bad but it wasn't the best, 3.5/5 stars. Black Mussels ($22 or $11 during happy hour): this had a pronounced garlic flavor which I loved and the mussels were cooked perfectly to tender, 4/5 stars. We came here for some food and drinks over the weekend. We got put into the backroom since we told them we wanted food but the service felt a little slow. It seems we were put away in the back corner and the staff barely came over. We sat in a room where it felt very homey and warm. I felt like I was sitting in my uncle's man cave with the sports displays and TV. There were some St. Patty's specials like corned beef items and beer. We ordered a Guiness in celebration of the irish. My friends and I all ordered the reuben sandwich that came with a salad or fries. The salad was a good size with cabbage, lettuce, carrots, and choice of dressing. The sandwiches were really big and had a lot of meat. I wish the reuben had more sauerkraut for more flavor. We happened to be visiting Las Vegas and had heard of McMullan's Pub and decided to check it out. From my phone call to make a reservation (not really needed for the time and date we were coming) to the moment when the young lady said "your cab is waiting" McMullan's people were right on target and helped us enjoy a fine time. The ambiance was solidly pub, which we appreciated. We were seated promptly, our server Jennifer was most helpful and attentive, the meal we had, (Shepard's Pie and Chicken Curry Pastie) accompanied by a rum and Coke for me and an Irish Coffee for my wife was all great and served reasonably promptly. Jennifer checked on us frequently, after having seated us in a very cool little private nook. McMullan's is now on our list to visit next time we come to LV. read more

Another review here said McMullan's was picked up straight from Dublin and dropped in the middle of Vegas. I couldn't agree more. The ambiance nailed the dimly lit, kitsch cluttered charm of an Irish Pub. Service: our sever was extremely kind and patient with us. Less teasing than any waiter we had IN Dublin, which our soft hearts appreciated LOL. Food: takes you straight to Ireland. High quality beef and potatoes being the star of every dish we ordered. Made us reminisce about our trip to Ireland Great location right next to the hotel we were staying at. Honestly, wish we would have tried it earlier and skipped all the blah food at the hotel/casino. We walked over for an appetizer, the atmosphere and a half pint before calling it a night. This past summer we went to Ireland and were impressed with the pub - everything down to the decor and walls felt like a few of the places we saw in Ireland. The live music was a bit too loud, but added to the evening. We had an order of wings which were good, and ordered a half pint of Guinness and a half pint of Killian (?) Red. Both were awesome and its the first time a Guinness tasted correct since Ireland...it may have something to do with the tap? I don't know but we both really wish we would have gone here earlier to sample more of the food....and drink of course. Next time...even if we don't stay at that hotel. read more

Love their Irish Nachos! I always get a mini for half price during happy hour and it is still more than enough for two or three people. The portions are insane, so I can't even imagine what a fool or a large looks like. I usually add the corned beef but the chicken is also absolutely wonderful. I wish I remembered her name, but the last server that I had was absolutely phenomenal and I wish I could be her bestie, lol. She also sold me a bottle of their Panola hot sauce because I told her I couldn't find it anywhere at a decent price. Fun location. Great staff. However everything was way overpriced. 3 piece fish and chips came with a small plastic cup (think sauce cup) of coleslaw. Was $23. It was ok. Not fishy and the cod was cooked through, however the batter was very heavy. The $8 can of Raspberry Cider was tasty, but not worth $8. We sat at the bar which was a neat experience. Initially ignored, then told no, I started to leave just as a couple came in, also asked and were told, 'sure, no problem,' so back in I went. Well, 20 minutes later, on the fourth time the same 'only person who can change the tv's' was asked did she decide to try. There's no reason to behave as such, especially when a simple 'ok' or 'no' works and let the great food speak for itself. I love this place. It has my Magner's cider, music on the weekends, gaming, separate smoking area, wonderful patrons, friendly servers and delicious Irish dishes. Oh yes, and the decor feels like one is transported to a public house far far away. I like that they have a variety of special beers on tap, many types of seating area and their brews come in Imperial pints. Easy parking and short walk from The Orleans casino. We came here after it was highly recommended by my coworkers. We all decided to meet here after work to try the famous Irish coffee. I didn't know what to expect but the Irish coffee is hot! We didn't know that and normally it's not my kind of drink but it was sooo good!! I love the presentation of it to! Nice touch with the shamrock sprinkled on top. The wings were a must try and also 10/10. They were crispy yet moist and the lemon pepper truly was the best in my opinion. The ambiance is a darker more sultry place yet really laid back. Redemption is possible....after a lackluster visit on a prior evening we gave McMullan's another go and I'm glad we did...for a Friday night it was steady but not overly busy, the service was excellent tonight compared to our prior experience as well...the atmosphere is always relatively solid here, loud but not so much that you couldn't have a conversation...the fish and chips, 2 piece, was excellent and filling. To be honest two people could probably the share the three piece meal which is only a few dollars more...these guys have Irish Reuben was very good as well this go around, the corned beef was shaved and tasted very good...these guys have Cole slaw is one of the better ones that I've had as well and the fries are good enough...entertainment didn't start until 8 or so and we had show tickets so we weren't able to hear the live music but it's typically very good...the Guinness was well poured and had the usual excellent flavor as well...all in all this was a solid visit and increases our likelihood of returning again in the future...RECOMMEND read more

When you're feeling Irish, this pub is agreeable in almost every way, and an authentic Irish experience. We love taking a break from neon and bright lights and relaxing here. We love Irish stew, shepherd's pie, bangers and mash and so many other entrees usually served with brown bread. All of these are authentic and delicious. And who can resist sticky toffee pudding, done here to perfection! Our server earlier this month was the lovely Mackenzie (does the Mac mean she's Scottish?), who was meticulous in making sure we had NO seed oils--the "almost agreeable" is there because they use the dreaded Canola. When are these higher end eateries going to discover oils that don't cause disease? Americans need to take a page from Europeans and cook with olive oil or butter, or even healthful lard? I recommend Dr. Catherine Shanahan's research (Deep Nutrition and Dark Calories), which exposes these marketing myths against food-based fats like lard, rather than the anti-health industrial seed oils, never intended for human consumption.
