Took our puppy mill rescue breeder Pomeranian here a few months back. She had never been to a groomer in her entire life. The folks there treated her with such kindness & care. We tried a local mobile groomer between our last visit to save a drive and had a horribly traumatic experience that left us feeling like bad pet parents. We've never had any issues with grooms and it left us pretty upset. We brought him right back to Fluff Bar the next week and were reassured it was all about the environment and who is taking care of your dog. I was "helped" by the receptionist who asked, "who do we have?" in a very unenthusiastic voice. I told her my dog's name and she asked me what service she's getting done even though I made an appointment online and she was staring at the computer. Then, she told one of the groomers that their last appointment was here. Again, the groomer asked what service I wanted which was odd. I showed them pictures of the look I wanted, including a photo I show my usual groomer with instructions on length, etc. The groomer and the receptionist then told me that the instructions on the photo are already what my dog looked like and then asked what I wanted. It was frustrating and I felt like they were questioning me. The whole experience left me really uneasy. Once my dog was ready for pickup, the staff told me that the safe choke collar I use is dangerous and told me I booked the incorrect size of grooming for my dog even though I did it correctly. All in all, they must run a better ship most days given all the 5 star reviews but, sadly, I will never go back. read more
