I have been looking for a new groomer for my small American Cocker spaniel for several months. Today I feel like I hit the lottery! We took our sweet dog to Grooming at the Ranch. Selene (the groomer) took time to listen to what our preferences were, made notes and groomed our dog to perfection! Our senior dog left looking great, and acting like a pup! She did not appear to be stressed at all! Thank you Selene for making our "fur baby " look and feel great! BTW, Selene groomed my dog in a reasonable length of time and at a fair amount.

Sedona was amazing. My aunt recently got diagnosed with cancer and I flew in to visit her. My grandmother and other aunt were taking care of her apartment and dog "Taco". He hadn't been groomed in over a year so I decided to get him groomed. Although it was last minute Sedona managed to squeeze him in! He doesn't do too well with strangers so we were a little apprehensive, but she took such great care of him!! Thank you for the amazing job & prayers.

Took my elder cocker spaniel here as a last resort, just trying to find someone who is gentle. Every other place I take her, she comes out limping because she has hip problems, and I think they make her stand. Based on the reviews of this place, I thought I would try it out. Our little pup was so excited and running all around when she left, she was in no pain and looked fantastic. The staff here are super caring and do an excellent job. They have a lot of experience with older dogsand you can tell. We are so happy we found this place! I would highly recommend them. read more

Five stars for Sedona and Grooming at The Ranch! Sedona is fantastic, our dog got the best cut and bath he's ever had! She accommodated us with fragrance free grooming and our Lhasa Apso finally got a cut from a groomer that knows how to cut the Lhasa Apso style! We tried five different places in Scottsdale and had different problems with each. We began taking our 6# Yorkie Max to Logan in 2008 and have experienced SUPERB service! Logan is always on time, and no other dogs when Max is there makes for a relaxing visit for our pup. Max loves coming so much, we can't mention Logan's name until we're ready to leave or Max gets excited and then bummed out when we don't leave. Logan is Max's buddy. read more

Took my Golden puppy in to get a cut today. I was a little nervous because he is scared of blow dryers and hasn't gotten a really short cut before. I was not disappointed! My dog was terrified to get her nails trimmed by myself. So much so that I had to get them done professionally at Grooming at the Ranch. My sweet dog was so bad that she used to bite me and hide all day if I tried to do her nails. Now that Grooming at the Ranch does them she has calmed down so much and it's not that big of a deal for her. They have been able to do wonders with why was such a stressful situation. Logan (Owner/Operator) is fantastic!! I brought my toy poodle to him today. i'm new to the area and a couple of weeks ago I had went to another groomer in North Scottsdale and was VERY unhappy with both the quality as well as the customer service. Logan completely put me at ease with the way he does things at his business. The place was calm, quiet and very clean. I came back to one happy dog! He looked fabulous and smelled wonderful. We are new to the Scottsdale area and chose this groomer due to our condo being just around the corner. What a mistake! We have a teacup Maltese and our 5 year old grandson could have done a better job. Our pets ears were completely hacked up. The cut was hit and miss and had several varying lengths where some parts were cut and other parts weren't. We felt so sorry for our dog! We will not be going back and you should keep looking......... we are!! It was so bad we aren't even asking for a redo. read more

The first time I went was at 5:30, thinking I had until 7 pm to get the DIY wash done. I was told the store closed at 7 pm, BUT the DIY dog wash closed at 6 pm, so I only had half an hour. I knew that wasn't going to be enough time, so we left and came back the next day, much earlier. The staff was empathetic and very nice both times. The wash went well, and the staff was super-helpful, equipped with towels, a choice of shampoo (or bring your own if you like), and clearly articulated instructions. The water was hot to the touch. I was told a new water heater was to blame, but if I waited a minute or two, the water would cool off and become warm, which it did. My pup was not pleased at all with the "blow-dry" setup. It is a loud shop vac with hoses extending through the drying bays. We politely aborted that part of the process. It was actually okay, since we had enough towels to get her 90% dry. I was happy with the outcome.

She's been eating the same premium black bag brand since she was about 9 months old (she's 3 now), so I'm guessing she just got bored of it. This time, I'm really glad I trusted my gut and bought the smaller 12 lb bag instead of the big one because sure enough, she didn't eat it. When I went back, Katie was incredibly helpful with getting me set up for an exchange. I wasn't looking for a refund, just something my dog would actually enjoy eating, and she made the process smooth and stress-free. Just a heads up for anyone there is a 30-day return policy, but you do need to bring the bag and have your receipt (email or text works great) to avoid any hiccups. Also, Kat was there sampling the Nutri Source, and she was amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and great with the dogs. She gave me some samples and really took the time to understand what was going on with my pup. Since my dog is grain-free, she suggested possibly rotating between grain-free and grain-inclusive options, which I hadn't considered before. They get to hang out together and actually play and socialize. The staff is caring and attentive, and I always feel comfortable leaving him there. Scheduling was super easy (via email, with prompt responses) and I sent over vet records ahead of the appt. We arrived at 11am and got him checked in, they called when they were ready to start and we talked about doing just a "standard" doodle cut, keeping him cool for summer. We picked him up around 4pm and he was SO handsome! The matted fur in his ears was good, we could see his eyes, he smelled delicious and he looked like a new dog! While I believe what she said, I believe that even with his uneven hair growth that this situation could have been avoided. He has never received such a bad haircut before. I've been bringing Toby here since he was a puppy (he's now 2 and a half), and every visit has been wonderful! He can be a bit nervous and isn't always the easiest, but Sedona handles him with so much patience and care. It really means a lot to know he's in such loving hands.
