Every single time I tried to schedule a groom or boarding, there were issues. What should have been a simple process turned into a drawn-out, frustrating experience with poor communication and no clear answers. To make things worse, after multiple attempts to get something scheduled, they claimed they "didn't like my tone" and refused to allow me to make a reservation at all. I've never experienced anything like that. Instead of trying to resolve the situation or help a customer, they chose to shut the door completely. Customer service is where they completely fall apart. Responses are slow, often rude or dismissive, and there's zero sense of urgency or accountability. It genuinely feels like they don't value their customers. At this point, it's hard to tell if they even care about having customers at all, let alone new ones. Do yourself a favor and avoid 2nd Family Dog at all costs. There are plenty of other businesses out there that will treat you with respect and actually make the process easy.

Being a medical student and having my hours change each month has been stressful but Cesar and the gang have been extremely helpful and it's lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders in knowing that my dog is being cared for during my long shifts. I also love the fact that they have cameras! I like getting to check in on my baby when I have a second during the day.
