My brother was staying at our house with our two dogs. Two days after we left for our two-week vacation, on July 4th, the air conditioner in our house broke. On a holiday and with a 7-hour time difference, we had to make other arrangements for our dogs. Happy Tails not only answered my texts first thing in the morning Dallas-time but they allowed my brother to drop off our dogs, even though they were closed. I had no idea how long my dogs would be there but they assured me the dogs could stay as long as we needed them to. They refresh water, check robot feeders, feed a can of wet food each visit and it doesn't stop there. They also pet and check on the welfare of the cats plus pick up mail or packages for us.. We get texted a picture of each cat or several and a written update on how the visit went. We have never had 1 issue with anything missing or even a picture frame moved out of place. My husband is a worrier about our lovely cat family and it puts his mind at ease using this service and how well cared for our cats are. We have a shy kitty that will hide from time to time, but YHPC sitters eventually will win her over and coax her out to feed and get petted.
