We still have work to do with our Labradoodle, but Wes has set us up with a great plan including his interaction as we need. So much different than other dog trainers that came with a single approach to our pup's needs and became frustrated when her insecurities took longer than the trainer cared to take. They refresh water, check robot feeders, feed a can of wet food each visit and it doesn't stop there. They also pet and check on the welfare of the cats plus pick up mail or packages for us.. We get texted a picture of each cat or several and a written update on how the visit went. We have never had 1 issue with anything missing or even a picture frame moved out of place. My husband is a worrier about our lovely cat family and it puts his mind at ease using this service and how well cared for our cats are. We have a shy kitty that will hide from time to time, but YHPC sitters eventually will win her over and coax her out to feed and get petted. We bought a black lab puppy named Sierra from them in August of 2013. We brought her home for a couple months and worked on basic obedience with her. After a while it became clear we needed a professional to do some training. Our goal for Sierra was for her to be a well-rounded Diabetic Alert Dog. Brooks Labs took Sierra for 8 months. During that time I visited and saw her transformation. At the end of the 8 months her progress was phenomenal. She knows all of the basic obedience commands, has had extensive public access work, rides in a car well, and, of course, is a good alerter to low blood sugar. Brent Brooks also provides fantastic service 'after the sale.' We have kept in touch and he's always been extremely helpful with questions. I highly recommend Brooks labradors for puppies or for training. They are clearly very committed to what they do. A+
