Beautiful, funny and smooth flight with Brandy and Eric with Bo from Bend in training. Early season trip provided a bonus as we were able to see the team do training take offs and landings at the glacier. Highly recommend Healy departures as you spend more time flying over Denali national park. Also they provide boots you put on over your shoes for the glacier. Glacier temperature was very comfortable so wear layers of clothes.

Fly Denali made our trip to Denali National Park truly memorable. The views of the park were amazing, the staff was so well trained and I felt so safe in their hands. And shout out to Kimberly the best driver in the world. She picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the tarmac. After our flight our hotel had no power and Kimberly was gracious enough to drive us to a local restaurant and even drop us back to the hotel. 10/10 experience if you plan on visiting the park, choose Fly Denali.

Captain Brandy gave us a spectacular trip today. Kathleen, who picked us up from our hotel, was so nice. Incredible views of Denali. Awesome knowledge of all the mountains, glaciers, and history. Thank you all for such a great experience!

Overall, wonderful experience as our pilot was very knowledgeable of the landscape and gives great history/information of the mountains/glaciers. We got lucky and went on a clear day with wonderful views. Once we land, we were able to walk around the designated area and take photos. Our pilot is very friendly and took lots of photos of us. However, I wish they were able to give more introduction and attend to us before the flight. Upon arrival, the staff told us to sign in and no more conversation. We arrived 30 minutes and honestly, just standing around until the pilot came up to us when we were ready to fly. It was a very memorable experience but honestly, I think it is too expensive and wish it was at least $100 less.

A party of 4 us flew out today for Glacier landing for $699 dollars..plus tips, it was more than $3000 for 4 people. We only flew up to 3,000 for and were only around the boundaries of the state park and national park...didn't even really see any high mountains. We understand that weather is very hard to predict, but we as customer are not exporters of the weather or driving a plane. The pilot did a good job and he tried his best to land, but we feel like we should have been informed and more transparent about the weather before we took off. We didn't even feel safe in the plane due to huge turbulence. We got a $50 refund for no glacier landing, so we basically spent $650+tips to flew an air taxi for two hours and all they could tell us about the trip was two hours and we flew and "did our job". If nothing can be guaranteed, there is should be a more definite lines between the refunds, not just glacier landing. Our original trip was booked through K2, which is cheaper because it closer to Denali. But they still had many routers and different prices offered for going up to different heights. Fly Denali said K2 will just cancel if they can't fly their pre determined routes...but we would rather cancel than just taking a stab with a $699 trip. Trying to be reasonable here and want to cover the fuel and labor, but $50 is not acceptable. On top, we were flying through the clouds and didn't feel safe. We didn't flew around any mountains and the glacier...just look at the photos

He took family photos for us on the glacier

We did an afternoon Glacier landing in June this year. Our pilot, Dan, explained how the weather changes on a dime, and even during the flight, he is deciding which glacier to land on, if we can land at all, and which path to take. We never did see Denali, the actual mountain, because it was covered in clouds, but it didn't matter at all. It was so gorgeous up there! There's a grandeur that can't be captured in photos. This was a must-do on our list, and we're lucky we were able to! The one person in the back felt a little queasy - teenagers were queasier than the adults. Next time they will take Dramamine. I'd go with Fly Denali again - highly recommended. The pickup from our hotel was easy; so was drop-off. You can tell the pilot was passionate about sharing this beautiful land, and sharing that joy was infectious.

They are the best. They explain why there is turbulence, about Denali park and how it became a park. Then they take you within 5 miles of Denali ( north face). They explain the glaciers and know the names of them. We didn't get to land on a glacier but I appreciate the safety of not landing due to weather. They were the best! They fulfilled a dream for me.

This flight was incredible!!!! I live in Alaska and this was hands down the most amazing scenery there is. Fly Denali was on top of it from start to finish, no hiccups at all. Eric was our pilot and he was super awesome. He knew every single mountain and glacier, so much history about the park and surrounding areas, and he was personable and funny. The landings were smooth and I felt safe the entire ride, even when we hit a few bumps. Definitely do it, its worth it!

When your flying 10,000ft in the a small engine plane for the 1st time you better trust the man behind the wheel! Bravo to you Eric for making me feel comfortable sitting next to you as honorary co-pilot!! Breathtaking! Incredible!! Spectacular views! Memories that will last a life time! Fly Denali! I'll be back!

Can't put a price on the views from above. However should've come with a motion sickness warning label, I have never been motion sick but the small plane bumping through the mountain passes... had my husband and I both incredibly queasy. Pasos for the Glacier landing which was worth it. Overall good experience, but only need to do once in a lifetime.

We had a great time when we did finally get up in the air. The view was worth every penny and a trip to remember. Our guide Andrew was great and chatted almost the whole time, had the radio on so we could hear the air traffic chatter too. He dipped the wings both directions so people on both sides could see the views. He also pointed out the climbers and base on Denali that was really cool to see! It really put the mountain to scale. Andrew also took us to see the real bus from the true story movie Into The Wild. He never made me feel nervous in the plane and did a great job! We booked with Fly Denali after another service cancelled on us. We heard from other visitors that Fly Denali rescheduled them (they wanted the morning trip and they were moved to evening) so be aware that they only fly with a majority full of passengers. We had 6 people and waited over 20 minutes in the parking lot for 1 more person that never showed. It was annoying to have our experience start with bus fumes.

Ice cave on the glacier! Idk what else to call this but it's beautiful

My guide, Devin, was very knowledgeable about the area in general and the particular water. I didn't have much time available during my recent vacation with my wife, but a half day provided me with a full two and a half hours on the river and ample opportunity to catch and release several graylings. I would highly recommend these guides and would engage them again should I make another trip to the 49th state.

I am not a fishing person, had only tried a fly rod a few times before, and was ambivalent about going. I am glad that I did. I learned a few things, and I got to experience something of what it feels like to do fly fishing. There is certainly an allure and romanticism about being out near the water and trying to discern the fish's behavior. I loved getting to wear and walk in the waders, which allowed me to plow right through the sopping wet tundra and creek bed. The afternoon was idyllic. Our guide was excellent at supporting, encouraging and educating me in ways that fit my personality. The surroundings and landscape were even more beautiful than in Denali National Park. A curbside pick up at the Princess Wilderness Lodge and a drop off back at the restaurant of our choosing rounded out the excellent service that this business provided.

Anyone is already bound to be happy with having an opportunity to, one, be in Alaska, and two, book an excursion for a heli ride to see a glacier, up close and personal. Temsco exceeded our expectations. With two pilots in the family, we looked at things with maybe a bit more of a discerning eye. All that said, we were a party of four and man, this was such a magical treat. Temsco isn't new to flying but their Denali location is a new addition. Our adventure started off with a personalized van pick up and ride to the business / helo pad. We sat for a safety briefing and were fitted for boots. The small but mighty team was fabulous. They explained what to expect, how things would go and then executed flawlessly. My guy is afraid of heights and doesn't like to be in "tin cans" as he calls small planes. The helicopter was such a different experience for him. You can see most everything and have great views outdoors, even from the backseat. This was the game changer for him. It's way easier to feel more in control with this expanded visibility. And, that aside, the views were magical. This was definitely a trip worth every penny and one that you won't ever forget. We saw wildlife, drank from an arctic stream, had a snowball fight and saw Mt. Denali from the clouds. Wow. Our pilot was incredibly friendly (Flo, a young guy from Germany) but also very laid back, a very skilled pilot and offered commentary as we flew - pointing out Dall sheep several times on the mountain sides. He was fabulous. I could go on and on. Check out the pics, make a plan and def include this once in a lifetime excursion in them. You won't regret it. Ever!

It is difficult to explain just how truly awe inspiring the beauty of the park is, and how much I felt at home in the hills and the lodge. Flyfishing moose creek and panning for gold was just a bonus to the week. And a quick word about the food. In all my travels this is the first time Ive ever photographed my meals. Many people complain about the 6 hour bus ride to cover the 92 miles to the lodge but for us it is one of the highlights of the trip because that is the best place to see the wild game of the park. Certainly there are no guarantees but we saw bears, carabou, dall sheep, a golden eagle, an arctic ground squirrel and magnificant scenery. The bus drivers are knowledgable, experienced and excellent game spotters because they know where to look. Some people choose to fly in or out which provides unimaginable views of Denali if the weather is good. We chose to return by the Kantishna bus because the first vehicle on the park road in the morning has the best chance to see wildlife. Compared to our previous trip, we had the place to ourselves. Only about 25% of the dining room was utilized and many cabins were empty. Covid rules required that brakfast be served instead of a buffet but the meals were memorable. The meals were some of our best in Alaska and the chef was really creative in his preparation. Service was attentive and friendly. It was obvious that the lodge was short staffed but everyone did a good job of meeting our every need. The guided hikes were informative and varying levels of difficulty were offered. The staff shared duties guiding, serving in the dining room, driving vans, etc. but each had speciaties as naturalists and they were expert sources of knowledge about birds, flowers, plants and geology. We were exceptionally lucky in that Denali was "out" every night and morning and we were shuttled to Wonder Lake to get the best views. This involves a 1/2 mile walk from the required parking area. Prices in the bar were comparable to what you would pay in Anchorage or Fairbanks. Be aware that in June, hoards of mosquitos will try to carry you away. Be prepared with long sleeved shirts and lots of repellent. Without question, this place is expensive at $1150 a day per couple but it is an incomperable experience. The cabins are large and comfortable but at the same time rustic. Any place else in Alaska, this cabin would rent for about $150 a night without the food, guide service and transportation but in this special spot there are no inexpensive options. Some people choose to spend outrageous amounts on elaborate weddings or first class airfare. This is the same kind of once in a lifetime experience, so go big if you are willing to forget the cost.
