This is one of our new favorite bars in Nashville! This is just a quirky and all around fun bar to…read morebe at. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the menu was fun, and the ambience was so cool and unique! It's sort of a circus theme, which we found very cool. Most of all, we came in with a pretty large group. This bar is definitely more of a small, intimate vibe, so I'm sure bringing in as many people as we did stressed the staff out a bit. But still, our server did so amazingly. I wish I got our servers name so we could commend her! We will definitely be returning- thank you Tiger Bar for an amazing experience!

We loved Tiger Bar when it first opened. Sadly, since the change in ownership, it seems to have gone downhill quickly. On our recent visits, they no longer had the ingredients needed to make many of the cocktails, the food has essentially disappeared from the menu--with only popcorn available--and the music was so painfully loud that we felt like we needed earplugs. What was once a unique destination now feels like just another bar on the Gallatin strip, which is really disappointing because the original Tiger Bar had so much character and potential. At this point, I would even suggest considering a name change. Many of the older, glowing reviews reflect the Tiger Bar that existed under the previous ownership and, unfortunately, don't represent the experience today. If it had not been for the kind staff (I counted only 3 which may explain why tables were sticky) I would give zero stars. Giving 2 stars because the staff was friendly and kind and seemed to be trying , the bar tender did attempt to offer drink suggestions. They are not the blame for downfall of a once cool bar and vibe.

So as a single girl in a new city I have been falling into the comfortable slump of staying home on…read morethe weekends tucked in bed with a good book in hand. In the spirit of getting out and making an effort to explore my new city I decided to find a place to go and enjoy a solo date night and grab a fancy drink. You know the vibes a Carrie Bradshaw moment but make it Nashville style. I found this place via instagram and read all the great reviews and decided to get out and try it. A cozy place tucked and hidden in the heart of east Nashville. It is somewhat hidden with a small parking area but I was fortunate enough to get parking right in front. I walked in and the decor is pops of red and black mixed with gold. The light is dim so it's a perfect date night spot or place to meet and have an intimate small group gathering. It wasn't busy and I enjoyed that there wasn't too many people. The vibes are relaxed and I was greeted right away. Checking out the menu I decided on a spicy margarita concoction with tajin. The bartender brought it out and it was the perfect blend of flavor, spice and alcohol. It was refreshing and sweet/spicy. Perfect. This place is the perfect solo date night spot or date spot with your special someone or catch up sessions with friends. I enjoyed sitting, sipping and writing this review. Solo dates can be daunting and being in a new city can be daunting as well but finding hidden gems like this make it worth while. There's a quote that I love and that's "if you never go you'll never know." Don't let this be a place youll never know... head to your date with this place. Head to Amsterdamian.

When you walk in you're transported into another world! This little cocktail lounge has a super chill vibe with the bar giving subtle shoutouts to one of my favorite cities, Amsterdam There's cute little couches and chairs to have some nice convo with friends and those you love all while sipping some amazing cocktails!! I got the What's My Sage Again which was super refreshing herbaceous and citrusy with gin, sage, peach & lime ‍ It was an absolute dream! My husband got Amalfitano, a citrusy gin old fashioned The cocktails.. on point! Absolutely recommend this place. The bartender was great and matched the vibe. I wish we had gotten his name but we were so impressed with the little gem we were sitting in we didn't make much small talk other than drink recommendations. They also have a few mocktails and snacks available. We were headed to dinner for our next stop so we didn't try anything but we definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some good cocktails in the area!
