Flyers has been our go to pizza joint in our area. Consistently great pizza, with salads, strombolis and calzones. Personally recommend on-line ordering and carryout (Grab it and head for the couch for a football game or family hangout). Great turnaround time (20-30 mins) and easy parking lot for pickup. They have a nice indoor seating area, but only tried it once with a kids soccer event (super friendly and organized). They have multiple types of crust, but we stick to their original. As for 'Flavors' - Our favorite is the Bomber. Everything you could want on it and cut in squares unless requested otherwise. Flyers is a couple notches higher than everyone else. I absolutely love their toppings, and sauce. The thing I really love the most is the crust on the bottom of the pizza. It's always golden brown and perfectly cooked.. I probably get national food chain pizza twice per year. The only downside is, they do close at 9:00 p.m. but the management is awesome and will literally take orders up until 8:59pm. After ordering a number of thick crust pizzas where the pizza was overbaked to the point that I considered the crust burned, I began selecting the 'lite bake' Option and the last two pizzas have come with raw dough. the outer crust literally separates from the toppings when you try to pick up a slice. how hard is it to properly cook a pizza? I can't understand how Flyers is rated so highly. Of all of our options in the Powell area, Flyers has to be the lowest. Nothing about their pizza tastes or appears that work was put into the creation of it. The crusts look pre-made and just topped, they taste the same - flavorless and like cardboard. I have tried Flyers on at least 3 occasions, delivered at home, eaten in, at parties, and it has never once been worth another bite. Do yourself a favor and eat at Local Roots ($$$) or Jets ($) or Brooklyn Pizza if you need some good pizza in the Powell area. read more

I'd heard a lot about Flyers and was eager to try it. So last Friday we ordered a pie and some wings and enjoyed a night in. The wings were pretty good. Not great but passable. Unfortunately the pizza was everything I don't want in a pizza. The sauce was sweet. The ground beef was grey with no real color or browning. The crust was largely flavorless. Was the pizza bad? Maybe not. But it was certainly unremarkable. A let down for sure compared to what I'd heard about Flyers. Not a horrible pizza if you need a pizza. We really like Flyer's pizza, and many years ago we used to pick up from West Jeff when driving through town even before the Powell location was added. The Old World pepperoni is our favorite- it's the pepperoni that curls up on the edges. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is that the pickup and delivery orders are often wrong or delayed. A salad ordered without onions will have extra onions, cookies from a lunch special order will be missing, etc. The managers are great and will make it right if you let them know, but it's always a good idea to check your order before you leave. read more

Some of the best pizza in Central Ohio. Plenty of toppings... if anything they add extra! Well worth the cost. A large pep and mush is around $14-$15 before any coupons, which always seem to be available. A great tasting surprise are the free freshly fried potato chips served warm while you wait on your pizza to be delivered to your table. They also offer free refills on all soft drinks. The decorations are great too. All OHIO State memorabilia with two wide screens usually tuned to ESPN. I am very dissatisfied with the service. I ordered a large pizza and cheese bread for the first time from this place and they forgot the cheese bread. When I ask for it, the delivery guy says, "well this is all that was in the bag." So I say, "Well I ordered it, so it should be in there." He confirms this on the receipt then asks, "did you want me to go get it and bring it back?" Uh yeah of course I do, I paid for it. So I call to notify the manager Jim that 1) not a great start for my first experience with this place and 2) that the response from the delivery guy is not "sorry I will go get it," but rather, "Do you want me to go back and get it?" Then no apology from the manager just "I texted him to let him know it got left, so you'll get it." I don't care how good the food is (I haven't even tasted it yet), we will not be giving our business to them again. Amazing pizza! They have a traditional, thin, and thick crust available. We tried the traditional which is a little on the thinner side but for us a great thickness. You can tell they use hugh quality ingredients. We ate at the restaurant. It's perfect for families. Not a huge dining area but very well decorated with an OSU theme and extremely friendly waitress. She brought us free, freshly made homemade chips and even brought us a second basket after we quickly gobbled up the first. Highly recommend Flyers. We will be back! read more
