Why did I wait 9yrs to try CP? The phone recording encourages online ordering, but this first timer had questions. After friendly, helpful ordering, our order was delivered by their own delivery people. Prompt, and friendly service again. Pizzas arrived still over 130° hot. Thin crust that had a golden brown bottom, with just enough crisp to avoid limp or brittle. The dough was NOT over-mixed to create that gummy/chewy bite. Sauce was right on point with flavors of garlic and herb, rather than sugar. Cheese has a nice gooey pull without that rubbery snap-back. The enzo pepperoni and sausage was vividly flavored, and paired well with the sauce. We tried the recommended Italian sub pizza which uses the creamy Italian dressing for the sauce base. I'm so glad we did. It was a big hit. Our second visit we did carryout. Small place with a small grab & go private parking lot. Again with the friendly staff. No tables, no chairs. You pay, you go. Small interior for customers to loiter. I did like that they had the touchless TapPay machine to use your phone. Added a sub this visit. Worried the sub didn't even measure out to 7" was for not. The double meat & cheese Italian sub did not suffer a loss of contents. Well worth the price. I do require more than 2 slices of tomato, so I will order extra next time. Lastly, I always recommend people bring an insulated bag to carry your food home. You want that food as hot and delicious as the way they prepared it for you. Consistency is key for me in a favorite restaurant, and since we've been ordering from Classics sine the early 2000s, they certainly meet this criteria. The aroma when you walk in is wonderful... you know you're about to pick up an amazing pizza! Staff is friendly and efficient. We ordered ahead, and I paid when I arrived a few minutes early. The pizzas were ready exactly when they said they would be... 20 minutes after the order was called in! While I was waiting they prepared pizza after pizza... nonstop. They were doing a great amount of business! There are lots of pizza choices in the area, but many are chains or sit-in restaurants too... Classic is strictly takeout... basically a counter and a kitchen... just like most of my favorite pizza joints! The pizza held its temperature well by the time we got it to the house... and proved to be the best I've had in Westerville. Square-cut (on the thin crust deluxe), sweet sauce, and generous toppings. This was, at one time, the BEST pizza in Westerville. Now unfortunately, very inconsistent and this time, just...AWFUL. I decided to give them another chance. The last time I ordered, I wanted it delivered. After an hour and 15 minutes, I called to ask where it was. The employee that answered said, "oh someone messed up. It's sitting here for pick up." I said no thanks, I'd rather not have a pizza that had been sitting for (??) hence, salmonella, etc. So I ended up eating elsewhere. I ordered half cheese, half sausage, for pick up this time. Well, the sausage half was edible, but not very good. The cheese half was burnt and too hard to eat, but needless to say, didn't look very appetizing, anyway. What has happened to Classic Pizza? I had a pleasant experience with Classic Pizza, and I have no complaints. The friendly guy who answered the phone let me know that on Mondays you get $3 off of a large pizza! (Whatever comes after 12") so I went for that deal. It ended up being the same price as my medium I intended to order. I don't eat meat so I always appreciate when a pizza place has something unique to offer us veggies. They did! Their Greek pizza has mozz, feta, tomatoes, onion, black olives and banana peppers. We ordered two small house salads and a small green salad, they were very fresh with the appropriate amount of cheese and veggies versus lettuce ( which was shredded to my delight . Classic is our go-to pizza delivery. The special with banana peppers added. 10 wings in hot sauce with an extra cup of sauce. The crust is fantastic. The toppings are fresh. The sauce is awesome. We are really mindful to provide a really strong tip when our food is delivered. I just picked up my first ever Classic Pizza. I got in the car and decided I didn't want to wait until I got home. I took my first bite and audibly went "mmmm". A lot of thin crust pizzas claim to be thin and crispy, but most wildly miss on the crispy part. Not Classic Pizza. I got an audible crunch with each bite that made my ears and mouth very happy! We really enjoyed this pizza last night. Ordered carry out around 8pm on way home from kids softball game. Guy told us 15-20mins. We got there about 15 minutes later and pizza was hot and ready. Wish I could give them 0 or less. Multiple times we've ordered only to have the order either forgotten or delivered well after the quoted time. On this occasion we were placed on hold immediately upon calling, and had to call back several times. We finally managed to speak with the owner's daughter (later explained as the manager on duty) where she took our order and informed us it would be approx. 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes for delivery. I called back after 1 hour and 22 minutes to determine the status of the order. Another person answered and looked up the order, then placed us on immediate hold. The "manager" picked up after several minutes and informed us our pizza was coming out of the oven and being cut for delivery? After 1 hour and 22 minutes it was just being cut? My guess would be the order was "forgotten" again! For reference, this was a Thursday night with no major events. The "manager" informed us she would take $10 off the order for our inconvenience which I thanked her for at the time. When the pizza finally showed up (almost 2 hours after our original order) this is what we received (see attached pictures). On top of that, the charges on our CC did not represent the $10 off we were notified of when we spoke to the "manager" earlier. I received the order and tipped the driver over 20% as it wasn't his fault for the poor service thus far. Once I opened the box I immediately called back where the "manager" again answered and without any discussion immediately put me on hold. I hung up and called back 5 times and each time the same happened. After finally holding for a few minutes the manager picked up and informed me they had a line of customers they were dealing with - which is why she placed me on hold without discussion over and over again. I decided to jump in my car and return the pizza....when I arrived the "manager" was in the back of the cooking area with at least 5 employees playing with a toddler - there were NO customers in line when I arrived. Alright Yelpers, I think you've been sleeping on this one. For some reason Westerville doesn't have a ton of pizza options, so when I drove past this place I knew I needed to try it. I'm a fan of giving any dive looking place a chance. I ordered a large pepperoni on their thin crust. I live about a mile away and they told me 10 minutes. It was ready just as I pulled up, super hot and I was greeted with a smile. Prices are definitely reasonable as well. The crust is crispy and salty (in the perfect way) just enough sauce and cheese, pepperoni was crispy. Perfect pizza. I will be back! read more

They told me it would be 45 minutes I said great make sure it is 45 minutes as I have worked all day and need to shower. While showering they tried to deliver and would not make an attempt to redeliver. Well, I know we have gotten pizza from here a few times now and I thought that I had left a review, but obviously not.... This is a decent place to get pizza, and their prices are reasonable enough. Not as cheap and reasonable as about 5 years ago, but in line with other pizza places in the area. We are a little limited on the pizza places who will deliver where we live, and I think that Classic is one of the better pizzas. They take a while to get it out to you, but it's always fresh and hot when it comes. The boy who typically delivers is always very nice and friendly and is very sweet to my daughter (who thinks that anyone and everyone is her best friend). The last time I ordered the taco pizza and they forgot the lettuce and sour cream to go with. This time it was not an issue, as the delivery driver had everything with him. I really like to taco pizza they have here. I am not usually one to stray from the usual toppings on a pizza, but this one is pretty tasty and the jalepenos add a good spice to it. It's yummy.....and a small is plenty for me (since my husband and daughter won't touch it). We will order from here agian in the future for sure! read more

I called at 8:30p and was told very rudely that they're busy because it's a Friday and the driver was 15 min. out. So...at 9pm (still no pizza) I called and asked to speak to the manager and he did not even offer to credit me. I told him to cancel my order.
