I am not going to lie..this might be one of the worst pizza places and pizza experiences I have ever had. The plaza was sketchy. The inside was disgusting. The workers were gross. Like are you kidding me, people?! How do they even pass health codes?! Could not be me ordering ANYTHING from there again. No wonder I always get coupons in the mail. They need business they are not going to get. My boyfriend and I ordered online. On their website..it said to do online ordering for the most updated prices. We did that. We ordered a medium BLT specialty pizza and an Italian sub. It was literally $30. FOR WHAT. The crust was harder than a crouton. The sauce was gross. The lettuce was wilty. I had to literally gnaw on the bacon. It was absolutely brutal. My boyfriend even hated it and he never complains. He said we will never be back and our customer service experience was awful. To give you a depiction, the pizza online said $13.80. By the time we had to pay, it turned into $22 after it was made and we were there to pick it up. Quite a change. Sketchy if you ask me. Quite a price difference. For a chain restaurant around Columbus, update your website. I understand a couple dollars, but not that much. read more

I recently heard that Meister's and Ange's were owned by the same family. I've always enjoyed Meister's, so I thought I'd support a small business closer to home. I ordered for pick up 30 minutes later. I arrived at about 35 minutes. The second I walked in I could tell the vibe was off. A frazzled lady met me at the counter. I told her I was picking up my order. She started frantically looking around. Mine was the only food on the rack. She gave me my pizza and I politely reminded her that I also had breadsticks. She starts frantically looking for them. Turns out they were in a box on the counter right in front of her. Then she said they were cold and she'd make fresh ones so she turned to the kitchen full of kids who looked traumatized. Two other gentlemen were standing at the front. One asked the other if the breadsticks were cold. The second man opened the box and touched the breadsticks with his bare hand and shrugged. The lady immediately returned and tossed the same box of breadsticks at me and told me I could "heat them up myself." I walked out in shock. I know I should have asked for new breadsticks, but I didn't want to spend another second there. I had already given a 20% tip. I'll never be back. read more

I'm surprised the reviews aren't better for Ange's pizza but I'm glad we took a chance regardless. We live right down the road so we ordered pick up and our order was made quickly, correct, and prompt. The pizza is thin crust with a slightly sweet sauce. I wouldn't say it's the best I have ever had but it's definitely good pizza and we will be adding it in to the rotation since the prices are good and it's so close by. They also have pastas, mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. We got the mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders which were also really good. Definitely recommend if you are in the area! read more

Ange's used to be a family favorite, but we hadn't had it in a while. We decided to re-visit for our Sunday pizza night today. When we opened our food, we found that all of our apps had been so over-cooked, they weren't even recognizable. Shameful that someone felt it was appropriate to send these out the door. Not a fan of pizza's from a conveyor system but they have their act together with theirs. The pizza comes out medium crisp, never burned and has a golden cheese topping. The sauce seems like home made, I never asked, but it has a touch of sweetness and acid to it. Not over powering with spices and seasoning. Their Italian subs have a golden crust to them and are not crunchy hard. The double meat Italian sub is a true DOUBLE MEAT. Keep it up Ange's. You are an icon in the Powell area. I suggest going there and order. Go next door for a beer or 2 and your pizza will be piping hot and ready to go. I put my pizza in the trunk so I don't eat it all before getting home. I've heard about Ange's many times before but never had a chance to try them. I finally was in the area of an Anges and decided that I was going to try them once and for all. I used their online ordering system to order an extra large pepperoni, extra sauce and sausage. It worked well and I liked that there was no extra charge for more sauce.. I also got pie cut because I do not like squares and this was easy to do with their online ordering system. I was a bit late finding the place but when I did finally reach it my pizza was still hot and all ready to go. The lady at the front desk was friendly and after a quick checkout I was on my way. I was taking the pizza home to eat but wanted to taste it while it was still hot. So I opened up the box and wow, the pizza looked fantastic! The pepperoni was plentiful along with the sausage and many of the pepperonis were nice and crispy. Even though I didn't order any extra cheese the cheese was plentiful and looked fantastic. So one bite and that would be it. Well that was the plan. One bit turned into two and before I knew it I had eaten a whole slice. And the slices, since I had selected pie cut, were huge slices ala New York style. Well I was blown away by how great it was. The crust reminded me a bit of Masseys (in fact the whole pizza reminded my wife of Masseys) but the quality was superior and they didn't have a ton of corn dusting on it like Masseys does. The sausage was really quality, it was a bit spicy but not too much so. And the sauce was really tangy and delicious. I managed to get the rest of the pizza home and I ate two more huge slices. No regrets at all about trying it, in fact this pizza place has become my new obsession. My wife loved it as well but she compared it to Masseys. This pizza is worlds better than Masseys. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for some of the best pizza you will find in Columbus. Just look at the picture of my pizza and try not to drool. P.S. This pizza reheats really well too...this entire huge pizza was gone within a day. If that doesn't explain how much I loved it then nothing will!!! read more

I love pizza. My first post-Pepperrcini's experience with Ange's was when a few buddies ordered it late night from the Filling Station. At whatever god-forsaken hour, it was delicious. So of course, the next day, I figured "you had too much to drink, it probably wasn't that good." Fast-forward when the girl I'm seeing shows up with a pizza. It's really not bad! I'm not a big fan of the thin dish, except when it was crispy pepperoni-much like this sometimes has. It's not my favorite pizza in existence (I think A Slice of New York holds that for me), but it's great when I'm at my house and I need delivery! I've also occasionally ordered a late night spaghetti (usually when I haven't had dinner and my kids are in bed). Best pizza around- hands down. I won't order from any other place. They load the toppings on and the pizza is always cooked perfectly and exactly per your request. My toddler always says he doesn't like pizza and tonight he actually tried theirs and liked it! I love this place. I moved to the area in April and have ordered pizza from here at least once a month. The service is always really fast, and their pizza's are great! The crust is somewhat soft, but crispy on the edges. I just recently ordered from them for the Super Bowl, and was pleased to have them fill the order so quickly. Pretty darn good, pizza. This location is in a small shopping strip along Smokey Row Road. Ange's is not one of those big pizza chains. It started in Central Ohio and has 8 different locations. I had never been here, although I've passed by many a times. Their business is carry-out and delivery. There is another local pizza place in the same shopping strip, but it was closed the night that I was craving a pizza. So, I popped into Ange's to give it a drive. The staff were welcoming, patient and helpful with their menu. They offer five sizes in pizza with all the different traditional toppings available. I ordered a veggie pizza and added a topping. Staff were more than willing to change their standard pizza's for my taste. The pizza has a thin crust. Ingredients were fresh. I have been a loyal customer to this location since they opened. I'm not sure if whoever closed on march 27th because my dad picked up the food but I just want to put out how ashamed they should be!! I had 3 pieces of pizza and one or all of them was laced with pubic hair! I was mortified when I found hair coming out my mouth when I went to brush my teeth. On top of that I'm pregnant and did absolutely nothing to whoever did that!! Now all I want is this place to be shut down so the next person doesn't have to endure what happened to me. My family and I have been getting pizza from Anges Pizza in Powell, Ohio for several years now; it's always been delicious and one of our favorites but last Friday evening 12/2/22 will be the the last time I will ever visit that location, actually any of them. I ordered a pizza, stromboli, and subs from the their website/online ordering option for pick up. I placed my order at 5:16pm and arrived at 5:50 pm for pick up. I received a confirmation email that my order would be ready in 30 minutes and also my debit card was authorized and payment posted. I even left a tip on my card! When I arrived, the gentleman working asked for my name; went through the pick up process. He told me he didn't have a ticket for my order and proceeded to belittle me as if I placed it at the wrong location (honestly I checked multiple times before placing my order). He rudely interrupted me to take a phone call/order and was not very friendly. He came back to me and I showed him my phone with my confirmation email, reference/order number and all the items I had ordered. He proceeded to ask the 3 employees making pizzas if they had a ticket and they asked him what the name was and he said rudely "Jen something-or-other." The gentlemen stated that they did not see a ticket. I politely told him that I would come back when my order is ready, he then proceeded to get more irritated and told me that he could not make it because "I don't have a ticket!" I told him I have my order on my phone and he could use that and I'd gladly come back, he grabbed my phone from me and looked at the order, he became angry and irritated seeing my order for 3 subs, large pizza and stromboli. I asked him what I should do about my money and my pizzas then and he yelled at me with his arms in the air and said " I don't know what to tell you! I don't have a fucking ticket!" I have never in my life been treated so poorly as I was that night. I am disputing my transaction because they don't deserve another dime from me and to be honest I want all my money back that I have ever given them. The man, I sure hope he's not the owner, refused to give me his name. Pizza is good. Much better than the big chains with lots of toppings. Down side keeping this from four stars is their online ordering system. The system itself is almost impossible to use from a iPhone or iPad. Also confusing in that there are multiple locations and ordering system is not well integrated. I clicked on the website for my chosen location and found out later that the phone # they put in the middle of a the page was for another location. As a local business it is important to get the tech right. Get an app or at least be diligent at getting the right phone # on the right website for the right location. read more
