Great place and food was awesome. Good entertainment with darts! Also have a a golf machine that is a good play. Drinks are delicious!

Went to pig with my family had a great time! Food was amazing, place was clean, and service was impeccable.

I really wanted to love the Flying Pig, and honestly, there is a lot here to love. Unfortunately, we had one experience that was impossible to ignore. My wife and I went on a Wednesday night and the place was packed. First impression: this is a great building. Big, lively, comfortable, and exactly what you want from a neighborhood bar and restaurant. The food was also very good. The ribs were excellent, and the burger was cooked well, loaded with cheese and onions, with au jus on the side. No complaints whatsoever about the kitchen. The problem started before we ever got our food. We were seated in the last booth in a long row. I could see the waiter working his way down the section, stopping at the tables before ours. When he got near us, he looked directly at me, and the expression on his face immediately made me feel unwelcome. Then he simply never came over. We sat there for about 20 minutes. He continued working the area and helping other customers, but never once approached our table. Eventually, a waitress who wasn't even working our section noticed us sitting there with nobody taking care of us. She came over, apologized and took our order herself. I want to make something very clear: she was wonderful. She saw a problem that wasn't hers and fixed it. I greatly appreciated that. What bothered me was that our original waiter continued serving other tables around us throughout the evening and still never acknowledged us. Not a hello. Not an apology. Nothing. I can't tell you what was going through his mind, and I'm not going to claim I can prove his motivation. But I can say how it felt. As a big, muscular white guy, I've had people make assumptions about me based solely on how I look before, and the combination of his initial expression and the way we were treated left me seriously wondering whether race played a role. Later in the evening things got even stranger. They were running a music trivia game, which we joined and actually had a lot of fun playing, despite being absolutely terrible at it. About an hour into dinner, a woman at the bar suddenly threw her drink at two men, smashed her glass against the bar, and then ran out of the restaurant and down the street. I have absolutely no idea what started the confrontation, so I'm not going to speculate about that. It was just one of those bizarre things you don't expect to see while eating dinner. What really stuck with me, though, was watching the same waiter who had ignored us appear amused by what was happening. Whatever the reason, by that point the whole experience had left a bad taste in my mouth -- and surprisingly, it wasn't from the food. That's what makes this review difficult. The food was really good. The building is awesome. The waitress who stepped up and took care of us deserves nothing but praise. Under normal circumstances, this easily could have been a four- or five-star experience. But you can't have customers sitting in your section for 20 minutes while their assigned server works the tables around them and refuses to even acknowledge them. I'm giving the Flying Pig 3 stars because there is too much good here to call it a bad restaurant. The kitchen certainly did its job, and one waitress went out of her way to do somebody else's. Unfortunately, one employee also made two paying customers feel like they weren't welcome. And no matter how good the ribs are, that's something a restaurant needs to address. read more

went to the flying pig a couple weeks ago. it is super nice in there, very spacious. darts are great, and the downstairs is in the process of opening with more games and am very excited about that. it seemed there was a bit of confusion with the set up there as we were told food and drinks would be served to us playing darts but then later were told we have to order at the bar, and then later told again we would have people come by while playing darts. will definitely be back when the cellar opens and hopefully a bit more organized. overall it was very cool read more

The food was subpar compared to the rest of the experience. I feel like the food was too overpriced. I would be coming back for drinks and games, not food. I loved the new darts set up they have. The bar is super inviting and loved the mixed drinks. The service was good. read more

Nice place very open inside, very clean, our waitress was great. Ordered Long Island ice tea which was made well, Had the wings which were delicious. Ordered the prime rib dip sandwich with sweet potato fries very delicious. We be back to try some of the other food. read more

Finally came to check out the Flying Pig ! Love the casual atmosphere, very good use of space. We had the bang bang shrimp, 2 different burgers and the caramel apple tart and everything was delicious! I came here with high hopes but ended up leaving very disappointed. While the servers were nice, the service itself was very slow. The interior of the restaurant is nice because it's a very new spot. The food, however, was the biggest disappointment. We shared nachos as an app and they were almost burnt? Can't say I've experienced that before. Also got the pulled pork sandwich; the meat was super dry and lacking flavor. Can definitely say that I'm one and done here! read more

My wife and I went for lunch on 7/21/26. It was our first time eating here considering it opened only a few weeks ago. We were seated in a booth and the ambiance was very nice, so far so good. Our waitress comes over and tells us "hello welcome to the Flying Pig! My name is (name withheld) and I'll be taking excellent care of you two today! I'll give you two time to look over the menu and in the meantime I'll be right back with some water". That was the first red flag. Our service was anything but excellent. We ordered two beverages from the bar and although they were tasty, it's nothing I would write home about. Also, water was never brought to the table. We ended up ordering two appetizers, the homemade mozzarella sticks and the jumbo Bavarian pretzel. The cheese that came with the pretzel tasted disgusting. The Mozzarella sticks were decent, but I've had better in other places. When our waitress came over to ask how the apps were, we asked for water once again. She said she would be right back with water, 5 minutes later still no water. Let me remind you this was a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. Our waitress comes back a 3rd time to ask how our drinks were and I sarcastically said they are good but I would love some water just to wash it down a bit. I guess she was oblivious the past 2 times we asked because she kept saying the same thing, "oh I'll be back with your waters!" For our entrees my wife ordered the Cuban sandwich with pickles on the side and French fries. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, with fries. The description for the buffalo chicken sandwich said it was served with blue cheese crumbles, the usual. While waiting for our food, I swear to god she came over and asked if we would like another round of drinks.... I asked for water... again. She says again, ok I'll be right back with water. It was like groundhogs day with this woman. When the man came out with our food, my wife politely asked him for some water. It took him a minute to get us water finally. My wife's fork was dirty/grimy when she took it out of the napkin so we asked the waitress for a new one. She comes back with another fork. Even dirtier than the old one with dust on it. So I ended up asking the hostess who was walking by is she could just grab me a fork from the other unoccupied table. My wife's Cuban sandwich came out without a side of fries, but instead a side of fried pickles (she doesn't like fried pickles at all). My buffalo chicken sandwich was literally just a piece of breaded chicken with hot sauce in between two buns. No blue cheese. I could have gotten a better chicken sandwich at chik fil a for a third of the price. It's like I was speaking Portuguese to our waitress the entire time. Nothing was correct. Never will we go back. They need the people from the TV show bar rescue to come there and it's only been open for a couple of weeks. Just terrible. read more

Came here on a date night. This is a newly opened restaurant so we were excited to give it a try. The interior is modern and aesthetic so I'll give them that. Service was a problem. Took forever to be addressed once seated. The food was the second problem. We both ordered burgers and somehow they were both made wrong. What are the odds?? Our girls night out at the Flying Pig was fun! Shuffle board - so fun! We ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich & the bun had a pig nose imprint - cute & delicious! The Brussels sprouts & potstickers were savory. We ordered the spicy margaritas & dirty pig martinis - so good! We recommend for dessert - the funnel fries! We will be back! Went with my wife on 7/11 to try this new place out. Ordered bang bang cauliflower appetizer. It had very little sauce so we asked for some extra. Gave up waiting for the sauce after about 10- 15 minutes and just ate it. It was not good. Ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and a Blackwood smash burger. After 45+ minutes and multiple conversations with our hard to find waitress, the food finally showed up. She apologized for the wait but could not offer a reason for the extreme delay in getting our food. I don't know what was going on in the kitchen. We watched as several other tables were served before us. People seated after us. One nearby table had a conversation with the manager about their issues an left most of a platter of food behind when they left. Our chicken sandwich and burger were just okay. The service was awful. And it wasn't like they were packed when we visited. Needless to say, we will not be going back to this restaurant. read more
