Great Irish Pub, we've come for dinner a few times and it has always been great. I had the Cape Cod Ruben which was tasty. It's greasy bar food but there's nothing wrong with that! There's many options for burgers and sandwiches, but few other options. There is a huge variety of beers on tap and plenty of seating for large parties and couples. I'm not overly enthusiastic to pen a lower-mediocre verdict, but that's about the most I can give this would-be irish pub tucked away in the little ol' 'downtown' strip of Mansfield. I'm gonna have to throw down the 1-2 pro-con breakdown for this one, as there are redeeming qualities. Lets start with smiles - The Pros: Any beer lover will have just enough of a palate spread on the menu to keep themselves occupied for the season. You've got your standards, your seasonal, your specialties, and your 'omgwtfbbq' 12 oz. enigmas. The food menu does rep a tasty array of traditional Irish fair mashed with americana style that is sure to keep you looking at the menu a bit longer than your neighborhood dive. Having tried an eventual total tab of the turkey wrap, veggie burger, pretzel bites, and buffalo fries, I can safely say the first bite is just as good as the last. And now the slight grimaces to total, wrinkled expressions of disdain - The Cons: Ever dreamed of successfully paying your mortgage? Student loans? Rent? Weekly supply of kitty litter and dog treats? General financial stability and ability to sleep at night? Do not drink here. The price structure on beers is appallingly laughable, particularly for being located in Mansfield. The cheapest beer you will find is, not surprisingly, a Yuengling...for $6.50 a pint. From that point on, the prices continue their unrelenting warpath to absurdity all the way up to the $10-$12 for some of the 12 oz, pinky-out selections. I get it guys, craft beer is expensive. However, this is by far the most expensive price point on any of these beers that I have ever seen in a suburban barfront tab - and I'll even count in areas of Boston. You will have an equal experience dropping your life savings at a crisp Fenway night, though in that case it would be rightfully so. It's also worth noting that, while friendly enough in conversation, the bar service was mind-numbingly slow. The bartenders at hand seemed more intently focused on their side work than serving the empty-handed barside patrons. Now, this may be a management issue to an extent, as I noticed another large portion of their attention was being devoted to service drinks. Perhaps a service bar or an extra bartender on trivia night fellas. When all was said and done, it took a grand total of over 30 minutes of sitting at the bar for me to get the first pint of the night - with over 20 mins being attributed to inattention and the remaining 10 falling on the occasionally inevitable keg change. I don't like dropping anything below a 3 for an establishment that puts out at least somewhat of a good product, but great Ron Burgundy's Mustache this place needs some work at a higher level. read more

Flynn's has always been a favorite of mine, between the atmosphere of the bar, the beer selection and the excellent food. With the current Covid-19 situation going on, I thought I would try them out for some takeout. There was a little bit of a wait but that's only because so many people had the same idea! I had to bring the food 20 minutes home from the restaurant and it was still nice and warm, both burgers were still medium rare which was very impressive. I got the fecking pepper burger (only get if you can handle the spice) and my girlfriend got the mighty Flynn. Hands down the best takeout I've ever had. read more

Like this place. Very comfortable atmosphere, live music on the Fridays I've been there, fair pricing and good food. Mostly on street parking but that does not seem to be a problem. Had the corn beef and cabbage last Friday, it was delicious but the portion of corn beef was very disappointing it was a plate of cabbage and potatoes with three thin slices of corn beef. I'll go with the fish and chips next time, had it once before and it was delicious. read more

While in Mansfield we decided to stop for a bite. We where going to go to Tommy's but there wasn't a spot to park so we continued down to Flynn's. The availability of parking should have been our first clue. They had a great beer selection, but couldn't get a drink. We were sitting at the bar and the bartender apparently thought it was more important to reorganize the glasses that ask if we wanted a drink. I asked for a sample of one of the beers to a passing bartender who did immediately give it to me, then she wandered away for 5 more minutes. Mediocre food, the burgers were greasy and basically slid off of the pretzel roll which was underwhelming. Not sure we'll return. read more

Ok bar with a good beer selection. The bartenders are horrible and check before you go in because they always close earlier than their listed hours! Last time we were in there it was 10:30 and the bartenders and his drunk friends put the chairs up around us! I was so put off we won't be back! Ex Cook from this establishment decided to part ways since our kitchen does not allow us to use a ticket or screen for orders the drunk boss just yells out 20-50+ custom orders and expects us to remember them all, this is not how you do business! I have cooked for many restaurants and every place usually has tickets or a screen and that's why there is so many mess ups and mistakes it is childish for them to be ignorant and expect a line to cook all the food for everyone in house on word of mouth instead of being able to read ticket after ticket. They print up out back with 2 slips and instead of keeping 1 on expo side and 1 on the line they just yell the orders in and expect you to remember them all! So I quit, the food is good if you get it right and the craft beer is nice but this is not how you operate a restaruant! If you order something custom expect it to be wrong! read more

I gave this establishment three star based on staff (take out order), burger and cost. When I placed the order the lady who took the order was fantastic going over the order and sides and giving and accurate pick up time 35-45 min. When I arrived the order was at the front waiting for and I could feel the food was still hot. This took place on a Friday night when the restaurant was extremely busy with a full bar and dining area. I ordered two Mighty Flynn Burgers with fries well done. The burger was cooked through but it was extremely greasy. The best part of the burger was the pretzel bun the fries were tasty. Unfortunately I was unable to eat my whole burger because it was so greasy. My boyfriend did eat his burger but regretted it after. I think this burger is meant to be eaten after a large amount of alcohol consumption to soak up alcohol. The two burgers came to about $29 with tip.. a lot of money for grease.. read more

I go here maybe 3 times a month so I'm definitely biased. Brunch is great! The new menu is awesome too, get the chicken sliders. If you like craft beer this place is a must visit. They fill up an 8 1/2 x 11 full of draft beers and change to a new beer every time a keg kicks. Tap takeovers are perfect if there is a brewery coming to town that you want to try. I get something new almost every visit and have never been disappointed. Must try for beer and pub food! read more

First time here after hearing great things about their burgers. I went for brunch with a few friends. We were seated right away as it was not busy, however it took a while for things to move along. Not a complaint as we were there to catch up and enjoy ourselves, just something to note. We ordered the mimosa flights and they were all delicious! A little pricey at around $24, but you're paying for the novelty of trying multiple flavors at once, so it's worth it. I got the breakfast burrito which was absolutely delicious. We have dined in and gotten take out several times; so far we have tried several of the burgers, steak tips, reuben, and the cobb salad. Their burgers are excellent. I will say the first time I ordered from here I was not pleased to get there to be told they forgot to put my order in mind you in a restaurant that was nearly empty. The cobb salad was excellent and presented nicely; only thing missing from theirs was avocado. I recently ordered a dessert they have which is suppose to be banana and caramel in an egg roll shell; it was very good but I did not see nor taste any caramel in it; it's suppose to be oozing with caramel. read more

I went to this place for the first time the other day and boy was it amazing. Me and my girlfriend were hunting for the best burger around and we think we have found it. The pretzel buns just add to the already amazing patties cooked to your liking. They have so many options!! I had the Kilkenny burger with some amazing fries! Some of the best we have ever had!! It was so good in fact I forced my parents to take me there the next day for lunch. They too were very impressed by the food and the amount of options. This time I had the Belfast which included their amazing pulled pork on top. Needless to say I will continue to go out of my way to eat here.
