If I have any more appliance problems I will definitely call for Victoria. Thank you, Cris Wilkinson

I live in an apartment in Wellington. The owner corporation has had Manweiler out THREE times…read morebecause my washing machine won't spin. I live alone & do laundry about every 10 days. The 2 repairmen who have been sent out the last 2 times have been incredibly insulting. They run the washer on drain/spin (empty of course), tell me it's working - and that's it. No checking the belt or the filter - nothing. I pay rent to use these machines in my apartment - but have had to go to the laundromat FOUR times because although the machine tub drains, it does NOT spin with clothes in it. Period. I have been given these excuses: Your loads are too small; Your loads are too large; You're using too much detergent The bubbles mess with the sensor (there are no bubbles) The load was out of balance (it wasn't) Water makes whatever is in the machine heavier (no kidding). NO MORE. Mine is the 2nd washing machine in the last few weeks that these repairman have failed to adequately inspect or repair. Both my neighbor and I have had to purchase our own washer/dryer set and make our apartment manager remove the sets from our unit (we can't rent only the dryer, so we've had to purchase an entire set). The last repairman told me that clothes have enough detergent in them when the clothing is dry that the clothing could be washed without detergent - and that I can smell the detergent in my own clothes. When I told him I could not, in fact, smell the detergent on my clothes he replied, "Then you aren't washing your clothes" . I had to hear about his training and his 10 years of doing this job...but he was either too dumb or lazy to inspect the washer beyond running it empty for 5 minutes. I'm done. I'll be telling new tenants about the inability of Manweiler repairmen to do their job. And about having to be insulted when the come out and do ...nothing.

Long story short - they delivered 2 "brand new" washers with huge holes in the drum and are taking no responsibility and we have yet to receive a refund or confirmation of a refund and it's been almost 3 weeks since our order. We bought a brand new Whirlpool washer/dryer set on 4/26/25. All seemed well and John Hartley the salesman seemed helpful and kind. We ended up buying brand new (instead of scratch and dent) to avoid any possible issues down the road. Delivery was 4/29/25 and within 20 minutes of the washer being installed and running the test cycle, water was leaking all over the floor. The delivery people refused to come back and check their own installation. We called the store and was told that we needed to call Whirlpool to get a technician out to look at the machine. The technician arrived on Thursday (5/1/25) and the moment he took the cover off the machine he noticed a huge hole right in the drum which was the source of the leak. He actually told us that this was caused by either the delivery team dropping the unit or someone mishandling and dropping it at the Appliance Factory warehouse or somewhere along the line from the manufacturer. We called Appliance Factory back and asked them to send out a new machine - we were extremely patient with them but frustrated since this was brand new, but mistakes happen right? They delivered another brand new machine on 5/8/25 and I personally went out to meet the drivers and had them open the cover on the driveway and it revealed another even bigger hole in the drum. I rejected the delivery and they took the machine away and since we still had the old broken machine in our basement I demanded that they take that one as well since what were we going to do with a broken washer? We decided we no longer wanted the dryer either since it was clear to us they are selling defective machinery and have no integrity behind the products they are selling. We have talked with management (Doug) and John 5+ times since this entire situation and they do not stand behind the products they are selling and are quick to throw the manufacturer under the bus. If you encounter an issue with anything you buy from them, they have no repair team or refund process that doesn't involve them getting a credit from the manufacturer before releasing your money back to you. They will continue to hold your money hostage and claim that everything is "above their paygrade" and "out of their control". They also told us that they found 14 units with holes in the drum that were supposedly "new" so who knows what they are actually selling to you. Doug (the manager of this store who avoids getting on the phone and prefers his salespeople be the buffer between him and customers unless you call the president's hotline) has no integrity, compassion, or thought behind his actions. I have attached pictures of the drum holes as evidence. Save yourself the trouble and buy from a big box store that is easier to work with and doesn't hold your money hostage.

That evening the technician (Miguel) showed up and diagnosed the problem, said he would order the part and they would call me back once they received the part. I am grateful they fit me in so quickly and accomplished the repair job as soon as they had the part. Thanks Bob's Appliance Service and Miguel!

Their customer service…read moreis terrible, and what should have been a simple dryer repair turned into three days of wasted time, long waits, and still no working appliance. They give you a massive five-hour appointment window (12-5pm). On day one, the technician arrived around 4:30pm. On day two, he didn't show up until after 6pm. On day three, he told us he would be our first stop with the part, but instead showed up around 6:30pm--after we had already left for dinner--because the office schedulers changed his route. To make matters worse, every time I called the office for help, the schedulers were rude, dismissive, and made no effort to provide even basic customer service. This company wasted our time, left our dryer unrepaired, and treated us with complete disregard. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for appliance service. I would have given Bob's ZERO stars but that was not an option! I then called Mr. Appliance and they came next day, with a 2-hr appointment window, and had my dryer working again in very little time! Kudos to Mr. Appliance

In short: I placed an online order for two items that were both shown as being in stock. Got to the store, only one item was actually there. So I cancelled the online order and bought the item they had. Simple, right? Yes, except for one thing: getting my money back for the online order. That took over 3 months, more calls to this location and corporate Home Depot than I can count, and finally I had to file a BBB complaint against corporate HD. As soon as someone with a brain saw my complaint, they immediately refunded my money. But I can't get back the time I wasted, and I really don't appreciate the numerous times when I called this location, had someone tell me they'd look in to it and call me back quickly, and then didn't - ever. This store is poorly managed.

We have never been to a better store than this particular location. Every time we purchased paint and a load of other items, we got great help from all of the employees we encountered. Highly recommend this contractor and this particular Home Depot store.

We paid for them to install everything including hoses and dryer duct, however they failed to do so. They to this day haven't refunded us for that. We left on vacation the next day and when we came back and started up the dryer for its first use it screeched worse than nails on a chalkboard! They returned to our home to service the dryer a week after contact, suspiciously with the exact parts needed to fix it without ever having seen it to troubleshoot... The dryer received new rollers. They were also asked to change out the dial as it was nearly seized and took brute force to move it for selections. It worked fine for a few weeks then.... it didn't..it completely stopped working. They now show up to our home mind you for the third time in less than 2 months of ownership of these gently used, refurbished like "new", only cosmetic! appliances. Great Salesman they are but follow through is lackluster and like a bad night alone on NYE leaves you wanting.. Anyways they sent out the serviceman again with a new motherboard to get the dryer back up and running. Well all was fine as you may be guessing for a few more weeks, but here we are again and ALAS! more issues. Save your sanity as their customer service is horrid. I asked Samantha, an inept employee with the personality of a potato, if it was common for their "refurbished" appliances to be such lemons. She said, "No, not usually". But the other 1 star reviews big to differ. No refund honored, they wont even send someone out to pick up their useless appliances to help a customer make way for BETTER. Samantha's retort is they wouldn't feel comfortable taking appliances without giving over money. But isn't that their business model now?! Get junky appliances spruce them up to work for a day then bail? Reminds me of the scene where Harry Wormwood(The Appliance Store), the sleazy car salesman, from the screenplay Matilda sells Mrs. Trunchbull a POS car(Washer/Dryer). "Wormwood! Sell me a lemon? You're heading for the chokey, young lady!" Do yourself a favor, you read this far, just don't...go buy somewhere else and save yourself the headache, like the one you got reading this long a$% review..
