Had some really nice, frequent visits to the bar for all night Happy Hour. I tried the lamb for the first time and enjoyed it very much. Most of the time my waiter is Salomon, but I've also had another gentleman (maybe, Troy) and the Management staff is very welcoming and accommodating. My first experience at your El Segundo location was fantastic--large group, top-notch service, and exceptional food. That's what brought me back. But every visit since has been a complete letdown. I came in for lunch at the downtown location and everything was overcooked. I even took the time to write a review, and while I got a response that *sounded* like you cared and asked me to fill out a follow-up form, nothing ever came of it. No response. No resolution. Then last night was my daughter's birthday dinner, and it was even worse. The meat service was extremely limited--chicken thighs came around multiple times, but the prime meats were scarce. When we did finally get items like lamb chops, after having to ask for them, some were so undercooked they were inedible. On top of that, nothing had any flavor. For the amount of money I spent, this is unacceptable. Our server did her best, but it clearly felt understaffed and poorly managed. We had to keep asking for items, scanning the room for service, and to make matters worse, my daughter ordered French fries that never came out at all. I could tell other customers were not happy either. I only saw 3 people, at most, on the floor with meat....for the whole restaurant, on a Saturday evening. At this point, I'm not interested in another generic response asking me to fill out a form. I've already done that and heard nothing back. Celebrating 28 beautiful years at Fogo! Location had valet there is street parking but it is a busy street. My partner got us the indulgent churrasco It was her first time at a Brazilian bbq! The location was legit a work of art! I went on a Tuesday and it was a fairly quiet night! Got drinks from the all day happy hour! They were so good! I had the gold rush and I wish I didn't have to drive or I'd order two! The lobster was so succulent however I'd totally get the crab cake again it was so yummy! The meats were so good! I was alittle disappointed no filet minion and only one pass around of picanha. Don't get me wrong I was full by the end. I just wish I got more value tbh just felt like they were just trying to fill me up on more pork and chicken this time around. Maybe because it wasn't that busy just kinda felt like we were offered the taste of Brazil menu thinking back on the selection of meats offered. Everything else was really good we got the molten lava cakes. Our server offered another dessert to take home which I taught was nice but tbh I'd rather maybe comp my drink as a birthday gesture since my dessert was already included with my meal. Our bill after tip and tax was 280$ Valet was 15$ Tbh for the price and my experience I will not be planning any future birthday celebrations with fogo. So pricey for what it is. Recommend just the cheaper options since that's all they walk around with even if you pay extra for the premium cuts. I also do not like how inconvenient their rewards program are. Pro tip: Costco offers $100 gift cards for $80, so if you're planning to go, I'd highly recommend getting the gift cards to save some money We opted for the churrasco experience, which is unlimited table side service of different meats. If you're a meat lover, I'd say this is the way to go! The meats were cooked deliciously and you can ask for pieces cooked in your preferred way and they were able to accommodate that (mine was medium rare). I thought the meat itself could use a bit more seasoning or sauce, but I think that's more my personal preference because I heard that Brazilian BBQ purposefully goes light on seasoning to emphasize the flavor of the meat itself. Service was extremely attentive and friendly. There were times when we were offered a lot of meats and there were periods when we felt like we were waiting around a bit for something we wanted to try, but that comes with the territory here. My coworkers and I were invited to the Muse Hotel Group travel agent event being held in a private room. They had an open bar with limited drinks and hors d'oeuvres being served. The featured margarita drinks were tequila based with Strawberry, Mango, or Passion Fruit they were all good. We went to Fogo de Chão for the first time on a weekday, and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant was elegant and inviting, and the self-serve market table was one of the best I've ever had. The fruits were impeccably sweet, my favorites were the pineapple and persimmons, and the food was constantly being served fresh. As for the meats, they were flavorful and fresh. I did notice that some tables seemed to receive higher priority when it came to the crispier and more popular cuts. For example, the table next to us appeared to have a higher-tier option and was frequently served picanha before other meats reached our table. That said, I still really enjoyed the garlic beef, ribeye, sirloin, and picanha. Our server was excellent and checked on us often to make sure we were well taken care of. Parking-wise, valet was available for $15, but we chose street parking, which only cost a few dollars. Overall, this was my first Brazilian barbecue experience, and I had a great time. Our party of 12 dined there yesterday for a lunchtime birthday party. All in all it was a nice, memorable occasion. There were a few issues that guests brought up after the meal but I still give it five stars. One guest told me she was disappointed that the servers began by bringing out one chicken dish after another. She felt that the meat could have come first. This was not my opinion and I recall the waitress asked us several times, at the end of our meal, if we wanted more meat. I guess one could argue that we got filled up on chicken and wanted less meat. But I was completely satisfied. This is the third Fogo I've attended and it was, by far, the best. Seating was very comfortable and the restaurant was elegant. The servers and waitress were very attentive. The buffet was really good. I went back three times and I could have made it my entire meal. Everything in the buffet looked great. Parking on their lot is valet only. We parked (closely) on the street without any problem and saved the valet fee. I highly recommend this location for regular dining or special occasions. Bravo to Fogo de Chao Beverly Hills. I haven't been to this location since before Covid but have been to the el Segundo location a handful of times. The vibe is still as nice as I remember with very nice furniture and floor to ceiling windows. I came for their HH on a Tuesday after an MRI and so was really looking forward to a reward and was not disappointed. I ordered a Prosecco and the filet mignon board, lamb lollipops, Brazilian empanadas and all jumbo lump crab cake. All came out within a few minutes at most and were FANTASTIC! Well seasoned as always and service was spectacular! Our bartender (we sat at a high top in the bar area) was not only very pleasant but totally on top of it along with the other servers who brought out all of our dishes. The all jumbo lump crab cake really lives up to its name. There is almost no breading or egg (in a good way) you are almost just eating a delicious concoction of the best quality lump crab seasoned perfectly and it's a great deal for The price as is most everything on the HH menu. Everything is very well seasoned which is one of the things I love about Fogo de chao but aside from the amazing food, this particular time, the service really stood out to me as everyone really made it a delightful evening (despite my anxiety driven afternoon) cheers to Salomon & Arthur and also a couple of lovely servers whose names I wasn't able To catch. Valet parking. Cheese bread was yum! The salad bar is always good. I feel like I eat more from there than the meat for some reason. They even had various bread and soup. I don't know how this restaurant isn't more crowded or more popular. I've been to Fogo at this location at handful of times as well as a location in Houston, and Sherman Oaks. The quality of the food at the Market Bar has been top top notch each time. Now I don't quite eat like I used to, so I don't have the full meaty experience. Today we went for our anniversary , and I had the usual market bar, while my wife had the market bar plus the salmon fillet. They had freshly made Belgian waffles, and I have to say, they were one of the tastiest Belgian waffles I've ever tried. THey also had freshly cooked omelets but we didn't try those. Items I really enjoyed: fried plantains, the cheese bread, the tabouli, the veggies (raw and roasted), cheeses, etc. etc. I also had a Bloody Mary and wife had passion fruit mimosa. Both were amazing. If I wasn't DD, I might have had another. The service at Fogo has never ever disappointed at any location. M Grill is a much better close by alternative! Never coming back. You could tell they were trying really hard to get rid of their dry, overcooked meat pieces. After being seated and eating food from the buffet (salad, fruits, cheese, sides you eat with the meat), we waited for a good amount of time before they came to come with the meat. It felt like they just wanted us to get full from the buffet. When the meat finally came, they first circled around with the same beef (top sirloin) 3 times and 3 types of chicken which we didn't come here to get full off of chicken... So we had to point it out and request for different meat and almost every piece we got was overcooked! BAFFLED how they came with the SAME meat 3 TIMES in a row until we mentioned it and immediately other meats started coming out. At the end, we requested for the cinnamon covered pineapple which we waited for another 20-30 minutes and had to request for it 2-3 times for it to come out. It was my first time and I'm not really a hardcore meat eater. I chose Fogo de Chão for my birthday because the last time we went, everything was perfect. The food, the service, the atmosphere. It felt special, and I wanted to experience that again. Things started off rough. Technically, there's free street parking, but the area is so hectic that we ended up parking far away and taking a Waymo over. Twenty dollars gone that way, so I'd recommend using the garage next door. Because of that delay, we lost our reservation, and I wish their phone line wasn't automated so I could have spoken to someone to explain. When we finally arrived, I had requested a booth, but we were seated at a small 2 person table even though several larger tables were open. I didn't take it personally since the parking delay probably caused confusion, and to the hostess's credit, she did move us once we asked. Once seated, things started to feel better. Our servers, Ronnie and Guilherme, were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive, kind, and professional the entire night. The meats were outstanding, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. They are the reason this review isn't lower. I also want to mention that the all day happy hour with $5 beers and $10 cocktails, including Stella, is a great addition and worth checking out. Unfortunately, later in the evening, something happened that completely changed how the night felt. I have an eating issue that makes it difficult for me to eat full portions without an aid I can't use in restaurants. Because of that, we politely asked if I could take a small portion home. It was my birthday, the restaurant was closing soon, and our server kindly said yes. We began packing a little food. Then a different waiter, not assigned to our table, walked by, stopped, and came back. He told us we couldn't take food home because it's an all you can eat restaurant. We explained that we already had permission, but instead of checking with a manager, he stayed at the table arguing. He wasn't dressed like a waiter, and his tone and attitude made me think he was a manager. When we mentioned that our server had made an exception for health reasons, he snapped, "Which waiter?" in a sharp, angry tone, as if he planned to reprimand him. I panicked, thinking he really was a manager, and tried to calm things down because I didn't want Guilherme to get in trouble. I apologized repeatedly, offered to hand the food back, and asked for it all to stop, but he ignored me completely. He refused to take the food, refused to listen, and just kept arguing with my boyfriend, who stayed calm but firm. After several minutes of that, I broke down crying. It wasn't the argument itself, it was the way he spoke over us, how powerless and embarrassed I felt being treated that way in front of everyone on my birthday. Eventually, the real manager came over and handled the situation kindly, which I truly appreciated. But by then, the damage was done. I was too upset to eat my bday dessert, and even though I wanted to take it home, I couldn't bring myself to ask for a box. I had planned to eat when I got home, but I was so stressed that I couldn't. I also couldn't sleep until almost five in the morning and woke up a few hours later still super anxious. It's a strange feeling, spending almost two hundred dollars on what was supposed to be a beautiful birthday dinner and leaving in tears instead. If this had happened at a casual taco stand, I would have brushed it off, but in a Beverly Hills restaurant where you expect professionalism and care, it felt devastating. To be fair, I still love Fogo de Chão. The Beverly Hills location is beautiful and by far the nicest of the three I've been to. The Santa Monica one is smaller but pleasant, while the DTLA location has a noticeable odor and could really use an update. Beverly Hills is elegant, comfortable, and well maintained. The salad bar, however, hasn't impressed me the last couple of times I've visited. A few years ago, it used to be spectacular, with options like dragon fruit and a wider variety overall. Lately, it feels scaled back. Most of the vegetables were completely plain, lightly cooked but without seasoning or flavor. The mushrooms were heavily herbed, w strange flavor, and the pasta wasn't a traditional noodle dish but a dark, bean based version that tasted cold and bland. The cheese selection was good but i do wish they had crackers for it. I wouldnt have noticed all that if not for that one encounter. This really would have been an easy five star review. It's disheartening how one employee's behavior can undo the care and professionalism of everyone else. Still, I want to acknowledge the good. Then my recommendation is to SKIP the salad bar, although it is delicious and has such vibrant options, I found myself so enamored with all of the meat choices that I didn't really get to eat any of my choices from the salad bar. Meats: All things steak were delicious. Didn't try the wings or anything bacon related (to save room for la steak), but it looked delicious. The Branzino was absolutely amazing. We had the best experience at Fogo. I brought my boyfriend who is keto which means we basically can't enjoy eating anywhere together. This was the perfect keto dinner date place! The ambiance was so nice, beautifully decorated and it wasn't very crowded but the food was amazing. A giant market table is included to start so no need to wait to eat. They have meat, cheeses, salads and basically every thing else you can think of. After that you get mashed potatoes, bread, plantains, and friend polenta! yum! Then the meats come and you get as much of whatever you want! Men love this place, not sure why it was mostly an older crowd here but I love this spot for a cute date night where I want to leave stuffed! Yummy. But last night was one of the strangest visits I've ever had. We booked a 6 PM Saturday dinner and were seated about 10 minutes after arrival. Oddly, the restaurant was only half full, so we weren't sure why there was a delay. We ordered the "Best of Brazil" experience and started with the salad bar, which was as good as always. Then things went downhill. During the first hour, only about six meat servers came by our table, and three of them only offered meat to one person before walking away. After that, no new cuts came out for at least 40 minutes. It was awkward just sitting there waiting for something to arrive. Our waiter never came back to refill our water, either. A busboy asked if we wanted more cheese bread, we said yes. But 30 minutes later, still nothing. At that point, I was embarrassed for my friend's birthday dinner and suggested we go somewhere else to finish the evening. Then the manager came by and asked how our experience was. I told him the truth: no meat for over an hour and zero service. He apologized and said he'd take care of it. About 10 minutes later, he returned with cheese bread, mashed potatoes, and a plate of short ribs, and personally apologized again. Around 8 PM, a few more meat servers finally started coming out with food. The manager checked in again, and I mentioned how disappointing the experience had been, especially for a birthday celebration. He explained that a private party of 30 guests had arrived, and most of the staff and kitchen were focused on them. He then offered a free birthday dessert. We ordered a chocolate cake, and he brought that plus an extra slice of cheesecake. When the bill came, he also added a friends and family discount to make up for the poor service. I've never seen a manager take such thoughtful and decisive action to turn around a bad dining experience. His honesty and personal attention truly saved the night. I will caveat my review by saying that I went during lunch. Even though every single piece of meat was delicious and well cooked, there was not a lot of variety. Meats come out very quickly, the lunch market buffet is fully stocked with fresh ingredients and dishes. The price is also pretty good for their lunch service at $54. SHIT experience. understaffed and they purposely do not rotate meat often enough so you either give up or get full waiting. went for a friday evening birthday dinner. how fogo has fallen. it used to be the benchmark churrascaria. service is unfriendly and sparse. maybe 2 meat people rotating once every 15 minutes. this was a weekend dinner service, mind you, and the restaurant was at least half, or even more, empty. picanha didn't have the signature fat trim, which i had never seen, so i had to confirm what it even was. i don't even think we saw 10 different types of meat, and we didn't opt for dinela, which was available. spent $500 on this crap for 4 diners. opted specifically for the beverly hills location because i already knew from 3 trips to the downtown location last year, fogo had already taken a huge dip in quality. dry meats, slow service. at least over there, their manager was attentive and pleasant. at BH fogo, a member of the staff asked how our experience was, to which I responded service has been really slow. he blankly blinked at me a few times and walked away. were you only expecting one answer that service was great?
