Well to kickoff the 2026 New Year, we decided to head over to Morton's for a New Year's Day dinner and a quick stroll around Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. I have to say we had an amazing time overall and the food and service at Morton's was absolutely excellent. Upon arriving they greeted us and promptly should us to our table. Things were a little slow when we got there but after awhile, many people started arriving and it got pretty busy. I have to say that for a Thursday after New Year's Eve all the restaurants were pretty active and people where out and about but could not blame them as the weather was cool and amazing as well. So to kickoff things off our server Shay ran us through all the specials of the day and recommended some wine options as well. Shay really did an amazing job and took great care of us. We opted to start off work an Onion Soup and to split a Ceaser Salad and I have to say both were excellent. For our main course I opted for the Bone in Ribeye and the Miso Sea Bass special. For sides we decided to share the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese as well. As expected everything was fresh, cooked to perfection and we really enjoyed everything. For dessert we had the Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. Simply delicious! Really you can never go wrong at Morton's but as you can imagine it was not cheap but we knew that going in so it was fine. Overall we ended up at about $260 for both us including a tip, which for the quality of the food and service seemed fine to me and hey you are not going to take it with you so feel free to treat yourself whenever you get a chance. Overall, we were very happy with our dining experience and we will be back for sure. Parking should not be a problem as they have valet and their is public parking available nearby as well. What an experience! In the month on January Veuve Clicquot and Morton's steakhouse have an adult happy meal collab! There are only a few days in o enjoy this collab but run don't walk. It's an absolute experience and work every penny. The bar servers are amazing. They truly make the experience top notch. We picked Mortons because their ad offered lunch and dinner and no mention lunch soecial did not include sundays like other restaurants do and others indicate special is Monday to Friday only on their taste of the Gables Ad as shown on the pictures attached. Went to celebrate a birthday and it was a good time with good food and a very excited server, who goes by the name of Dino, and he makes it a point to let you know that he's Italian. Lol! Steaks, wine, great sides and desserts were great but there were some areas for improvement and that's why it led to a 4 but was more like a 3.7 experience. When I walked in, a number of on the clock staff saw that the host stand was empty and that I was there but did not address me at all (the service industry never ceases to amaze me). After finally getting someone's attention, I had to wait for the host to arrive before I received some help and it was mediocre at best. The server, Dino, is who made the experience much better. He's engaging and enthusiastic about his job. The ambiance was nice and the option for outdoor dining is great to have. The oysters were fresh and delicious! The wine paired well with the meats. The lamb chops were inconsistent where some chops were over cooked and one of the filets was sent back for being undercooked. The desserts were great and the cheesecake stole the show. The dining room has that classic old school steakhouse vibe. The half booths are so romantic and offer a great view of the restaurant and the open kitchen. This month they have a lot of specials going on including Miami Spice, and the menu is definitely worth it. For $60 you get 3 courses with a side. So we definitely opted for the Miami Spice Menu. For appetizer I started with the french onion soup. It's a classic! It was deliciously cheesy and warm. The rich broth was perfect. For entree I got the filet mignon with a side of the sour cream mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection. They always get the temperatures right on point! The meat was so tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were silky and the perfect pairing to the steak. For dessert I got the espresso pot de creme which was the perfect dessert. It's a small cup, but decadent. It has a rich chocolate pudding consistency. It is super indulgent and a great option if you like chocolate. I love chocolate, so it was just amazing! Our waiter was great. The service here is always top tier. They really make the experience that much more special. He always made sure our dishes came out exactly the way we wanted it. Service was GREAT - Nebojsa made a great meal even better. Super friendly, very helpful in steering our choices with great honesty. Great conversationalist! The food was excellent. Meatball appetizer was very good, the sauce was superb. Ribeyes were tender ( without an obvious tenderizer taste) and incredibly flavorful, very well seasoned/marinated in advance of cooking so the tase went through the entire steak and not just a coating on the surface. Shoestring potatoes were very good. Lobster tail was great. Desserts were phenomenal - molten chocolate cake was actually crisp on the very outside and liquidy on the inside, special strawberry cake/cheesecake (a special for Memorial Day) was outstanding, the strawberry cake was a delicious strawberry cake. The Salt Mine where I toil 40hrs a week had a Directors Luncheon here in lieu of cash. I arrived early (as I always do) but they were not ready to receive us, so I went for a stroll with my camera. When I returned we were shown to our dining room upstairs and the festivities began. The room was cozy and the table decorated for the holidays. We had a set menu of offerings Lobster Bisque, Caesar Salad, Chicken, Salmon and a 6oz Filet Mignon (not my favorite cut but what ya gonna do) with Potatoes AuGratin and Mashed Potatoes as side. Yes, no vegetables because the COO does not like them, I ordered a glass of a House Red Wine; it's a blend from either Argentina or Spain our waiter couldn't remember exactly. The Petite Fillet.was good, especially with the addition of the Sauce requested. The wait staff was great and they took good care of us. Cheese Cake and Chocolate Espresso Pot Au Créame were the desserts. The wine and the Espresso Créame were the best parts of the meal. Didn't think I would be in Morton's again unless I was in an Urn in the center of the table. But a good time was had by all even if I wasn't the guest of honor. read more

First time at this location. I love the area and location. Inside is super beautiful and has that 20s NY vibe. We came here for Miami spice and the food was incredible. Our waiter was so nice and attentive. I tried the Waygu meatball is was soo flavorful for appetizer. I would definitely get this again. What a start! We did bring our own wine which was amazing but I won't review that. Morton's does charge a corkage fee of 35 dollars which is not bad if you have a real nice expensive wine with you. The filet mignon was so tender and cooked to perfection and I did order the truffle corn which blew me away. You gotta try this....... For the ending I did get the creme brûlée which was good. I only say that because I was soo full. But everything was amazing. The air conditioning was not working and they had a portable one which at times seas uncomfortable. Which is why I put 4 stars. . Overall: Completely disappointed Service: My husband was completely shocked at the lack of service and awareness by the staff. The waiter couldn't find our champagne we ordered and had to get the sommelier involved. We didn't order anything obscure either. If you are going to have an open kitchen concept then show me the "magic" your kitchen creates. We definitely didn't feel like that. The lobster was appropriately cooked but not great. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse but it was just okay as well. Overall value: Just no. There was not much value here. 5 star reviews don't come easily from me, and it takes a lot to truly "wow" me, but Morton's did just that recently. We decided to visit this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The Morton's website directed us to make our reservation via OpenTable and where it has the dropdown, asking if a special occasion is being celebrated, I selected "anniversary" and really gave it no more thought. We've made reservations at other restaurants in the past where we booked via OpenTable and selected that we were celebrating a birthday or anniversary, and not once has any restaurant even acknowledged it. That certainly wasn't the case here at Morton's! Upon our arrival, the hostess wished us a Happy Anniversary, and asked if we wanted a table on the patio, or a table or booth inside. Once we asked for a booth she explained it'd be a few minutes, so we went to the well-appointed bar and ordered a cocktail. When she came to escort us to our table, we found that they'd placed our menus and bread plates so we'd be seated next to each other at the back of the booth, they'd scattered silver stars on the table for our anniversary, when we opened our menus they had an anniversary greeting tucked in there for us, and they explained we'd be given a complimentary dessert of our choice at the end of the meal, and they'd also take a photo of us to commemorate the occasion. Wow! First, again, as many times as we've gone to restaurants to celebrate anniversaries and other special occasions, we've never received this type of treatment, especially when, again, I just mentioned it using the standard dropdown menu when making the reservation. Also, living in Miami, one often finds that customer service and care are often lacking, even at better restaurants like Morton's, so when they really went all out like they did, it really meant a lot to us. Aside from that, the food was excellent as always. We started with the tuna poke, then for our main courses we both had steaks, which were excellent, and the lobster macaroni and cheese and asparagus. We also ordered a bottle of wine to share, and when the complimentary dessert was offered, we each ordered a glass of champagne to finish our meals. Everything was excellent, steaks were cooked perfectly and the cuts were so large and the serving of mac and cheese so generous we ended up bringing some home. Kudos to Morton's for going above and beyond anything we've ever experienced to honor our special occasion. My first visit to Morton's was this Thanksgiving. I sat outside but the ambiance inside is dimly lit. The server talked up one of their drink specials that day but it just turned out to be an overpriced mimosa IMO. Complimentary bread is always a plus. Tried my first crab cake which I enjoyed. The Christopher chicken was crispy, the sauce was a nice touch. The Cajun ribeye was delicious, a little hard to cut through. They didn't skip out on the side of truffle butter. The scalloped potatoes were plentiful but the truffled corn was not. I'm not sure why the discrepancy in the size of the sides. I'm not sure if it was because it was a Monday or because it was a holiday weekend, but there were two waiters three people in the kitchen and one bartender for the whole restaurant meaning that the service was very slow and we were sort of waiting more than 20 minutes just for the bill. Our waitress was nice, but she described an apple upside down cake as the best thing ever selling it to us and then had to come back and tell us that they had run out . We ordered Filet Mignon and a Ribeye, which were cooked to perfection. As a side dish, we chose to share a Lobster Mac n Cheese, which was delicious with plenty of lobster in it.
