Came here for brunch because my kids have always had great experiences at Fogo. The servers were polite and attentive, but the food quality missed the mark this time. Some of the fruit tasted like it had been cut on the same board as vegetables, and the steaks were inconsistent--at times I'd get a sliver of raw meat, and other times a large chunk was dropped onto my plate with little care. I'm not one to complain, but the server also charged full price for the kids, which added to the disappointment. The overall taste, presentation, and delivery of the meat cuts need improvement. At this price point, I expect Fogo to deliver the standard they're known for. When we think of Churrasco, we think of Fogo. We've visited other locations in different states, and I can say with confidence that this one didn't meet the baseline. Unfortunately, we'll pass next time. read more

Unfortunately, I still see a lot of room for improvement. There was quite a bit of confusion when we sat down. Even after placing our order, we had to request plates, and our first server later had to bring tongs over after noticing we had not received them. I'm not sure where the disconnect occurred, but basic table items such as plates and serving utensils should have been provided in a timely manner. I also noted in our reservation that we were celebrating a 74th birthday. We were only offered a candle after dessert had already been presented. I was later informed that the staff is not provided with the information guests include when making reservations. That was disappointing to hear, as details like special celebrations are important and would clearly benefit the staff experience and overall guest experience. Additionally, we were told the gift certificate included two meals, two non-alcoholic beverages, and two desserts, but it was apparently only tied to a specific dollar amount instead. That created confusion and different expectations. The biggest issue I continue to notice at this location is communication. Would not recommend, at least this location. Our first time was last year and had a much better experience. This time we decided to go back for our anniversary and wish we just ate at sumo sushi right next to it instead that does have great food and customer service. This place is a joke for the quality and price. We were greeted nicely my first issue was there was a big party that was being catered to the most leaving the rest of us to wait longer. Waiters took much longer to get to our table after waters were brought. By the time they finally got to us it wasn't a wide variety like our previous visit or other places. For the price you pay here you'd think it would be worth it. So expect to eat the same meats back to back. Also the quality is not there anymore in the meats along with the stale cheese bread and crispy polenta. We were offered a complimentary dessert that we ended up paying for which was fine since we wanted dessert anyway. Ordered the tres leches and that alone was a 2/10. If you're used to Mexican tres leches do not get this. It's more sweeter, and the cake is more grainy. If you're looking for something better in the area and don't want to go too far, Gauchos Do Sul in vintage park is much more worth your time and money. There will never really be much to complain about food-wise at Fogo de Chao. All steaks were good and the market table was enjoyable. The service however very disappointing. It was my first time at this specific location. We were about 10 minutes late to our weekday 12:30 reservation (reasonably late) but waited 15+ minutes to be sat down. Then upon sitting down no one had approached our table for another 5-10+ minutes. It was awhile before bread and drinks were brought to us and service was just not very attentive throughout the meal. The service was okay and there was definitely no shortage of meat, but it also confirmed that we're just not buffet people--even when it's upscale. Even the seating felt off; it honestly reminded us of being back in Jamaica in July, sitting at our resort where meals were more exclusive and relaxed. I finally checked out the new Fogo de Chão on 290, and unfortunately, it was a thoroughly mediocre experience. For the price point, I expected so much more, but this felt closer to an Applebee's chaos than the premium churrascaria experience they advertise. We had a reservation, yet still had to wait 15 minutes past our time. The place was packed to the gills and unbearably loud. To make matters worse, our table for two was wedged next to the bar in a major thoroughfare. There was zero privacy--every single waiter and runner bumped past our chairs, yet paradoxically, we were constantly ignored. The service was a mess. Skewer after skewer walked right by us without stopping. We spent long stretches with absolutely no food in front of us. They never even bothered to ask how we preferred our meat cooked (rare, medium, etc.). When we were done with our plates, we had to flag someone down multiple times just to get them cleared; no one checked on us proactively. I've been to other Brazilian steakhouses before--Gauchos du Sol was a much better experience in every way. Here, the vibe was cheap and disorganized, and the meat was just "mid." Came in today and was seated in the bar area with Maria. We were seated quickly without a reservation (2) & the service was phenomenal. The staff was just incredible. Joc consistently checked on us to make sure we were doing well and kept us refilled. The food was 100%. 10/10. We definitely will be back. It wasn't busy so the food came out very quickly. They have an all day happy hour so we ordered the lamb chops, filet board, chicken sliders, empanadas, beef rib, Gold rush, a Malbec and the happy hour burger. This is our second time at Fogo de Chao in cypress. We were greeted at the door, we had reservations and that is highly recommended. The lighting was dimmed and the music was not too loud where you can talk across the table. The table service was okay and was not spectacular. We kept having to ask to refill water, asking is there any meat because we got barely any meat served. The table would get offered servings of any kind of meat every 10 mins or even longer. You can literally look around the room and literally there was NO ONE serving meat to any guests at their table. No one got any type of beef, lamb, chicken for a good 5-10 mins. and if you did get offered meat it not hot, there wasn't a variety of beef the same 2 beefs / sausage were the only that did come around. I've been to multiple Brazilian steakhouse and this was VERY disappointing. The servers barely came around, completely ignoring our green/red cards. We had to repeatedly ask for specific cuts like the picanha, filet, which never appeared. I ask for fresh cheesy bread 3x to 3 different people . When the meat did arrive, it was either tough, extremely salty, or undercooked (still red in the middle when we asked for medium-well). Definitely NOT worth the high price tag at all; we actually left feeling incredibly frustrated and cheated. We spent $400 on salad bar, and a few pieces of meat. This is very sad and after writing this review and reading others I was not alone. All the tables were just sitting looking at each other, talking with no one walking around offering any sort of meat. This is actually really ridiculous and there should be servers bringing meats around non stop, to where guest have to flip their card red and when the plates are full of food. This was a total opposite experience, terrible experience and most likely my last time here. I will definitely not be back and prefer to go to other Brazilian Steakhouses that I know will provide a much better experience with a better selection of meat offerings or even offering meats more frequently then 1 every 10 minutes. Why you build these cut down versions is beyond me 1.) seating is a weird bench and chair configuration which forces you to sit next to complete strangers 2.) wait spilled my drink all over my side of the table and my white dress was wet and stained service was terrible. It didn't seem too crowded on a Saturday night like other Brazilian steakhouses we decided to do the all you can eat to churrasco package as you all know once you start asking for the meat they don't stop coming, however on a few occasions, I had my red tab flipped over and they still kept coming. I would personally work on that because no one wants to get constantly presented with meats when we are on a PAUSE. We ordered a few drinks and they took a while to get delivered. They also offer valet parking here, but I don't really see the point in that since there's plenty of parking in the back. We opted for the full churrasco experience. I had an opportunity to have brunch during their soft opening. It was amazing! They're still training their staff, but everyone was very attentive and nice. They are very well trained with asking if you want your plate cleared, drinks refilled etc. This location is a little smaller than other locations like on Westheimer or The Woodlands. We were seated by the bar along the tables with bench seating. They had festive pillows for the holidays on the bench. Upon sitting down we were handed menus. I ordered their pineapple mint lemonade. It was fresh, minty and carbonated. Their market table had lots of options from charcuterie to fresh fruit. During brunch they also have soup selections and waffles. I really enjoyed their candied bacon. For their meats, everything was delicious I especially enjoyed their parmesan pork and tender beef cuts. For dessert we had the tres leches. I've had the Fogo de Chao experience several times. however, I'd say the one here was a little bit disappointing. Our initial server was very nice and professional. although he did forget to put in the drink order which we reminded him after about 15 minutes into the meal. the meat was the most disappointing. the medium rare cuts of beef were great! Some pieces needed a ittle bit more salt. The pork, chicken wrapped in bacon and sausage were pretty dry so that was disappointing. We ordered the stuff and turf, which included a tiny lobster tail and one crab cake. but that was it little and lobster tail was quite small and overall the seasoning there was probably overwhelming as you couldn't get a real good lobster flavor. The crabcake was well cooked although it hadate too much butter great food would go back. The salad bar is delicious. The candied bacon is on point. Might look at maybe a lunch hour developed to change the time since I went during dinner very clean interior very welcoming atmosphere. It took them probably about 10 minutes to finally get our check. It seemed like we didn't have a specific server assigned to our table. I asked one person and then after 5 minutes went and found another. It finally came out so we could pay. the service was lackluster that Saturday night that we went. First time here. Lovely restaurant, We set in the bar for appetizers & drinks - food was amazing. The table services were far from perfect. We never really knew who our real servicer was. So many people stopped by to help. We ordered several appetizers. They brought them out sporadically and we had to keep asking where were the dishes that we ordered. We ordered the lamb chops pops twice - the first order was perfect without the mint sauce - the second order had more bone than lamb - we brought it to the many servers attention and they all agreed but not one of the offered to replace or take them off our bill‼ Again the food was awesome but the second order or lamb chops and it was like no one knew what to bring out to us from the kitchen! I came in expecting the same quality as the Westheimer Fogo de Chão... and sadly it did not deliver. For the same price, it felt like a low-budget imitation. Service was unorganized, and they barely brought out any meats. maybe three total the whole time ,and they didn't even ask how I wanted mine cooked. They just served whatever they had, no medium/medium-rare option at all. A lot of the signature items weren't brought out unless we asked, and even then the cheese and honey didn't show up until we were basically paying for the check. Drinks were either forgotten or tasted watered down, and the whole place felt like an inexperienced staff trying to keep up with a high-end price point. Overall, very disappointed. Definitely not the same experience as the original location, and I won't be returning. read more

I made the mistake of having my retirement dinner here. It was horrible! I paid $280 per guest and had 17 guest. Me and my family arrived 30 minutes before the 7:30 pm reservation. We stood along with the other 17 guest in the fornt door for 30 minutes with it seeming as if we weren't welcomed. I was extremely concerned for the safety of this with people coming and going through the door. There wasn't a previous reservation for the room. I got 5 Seafood towers for appetizers. The crab legs did have a little salt in the pot when boiled but not much. I'm sure salt was way to expensive Heaven forbid the expense of other seasons. I guess they realize this with the lobster because they tasted just like water. They did not even have a taste. After 15 minutes of trying to eat it everyone just quit they then brought out five 2 ounce cups of cocktail sauce for the 17 guess after we finished. That helped to at least eat the water logged shrimp. I've never seen lobster not served with butter. Of course butter is to expensive. We then went and got our salads and sides. Subpar at best. I really can't name one item that was worth mentioning in a positive way. They did bring out about 8 saucers of two 1/4 half pieces of carmalized plantain with 4 French fries i guess that was for us to share. They also brought us about 6 saucers with dehydrated potatoes with a small amount of water added. Just enough for it not to be a powder. It had 2 sprigs of coriander on it and that was it. No salt nothing. It tasted of nothing. I actually let it fall out of my mouth before I realized it. Every 10-15 minutes someone came by with a skewers of meat. With 17 guest I was at the head of the table most of the time the skewers made it one or two people from me before they ran out. When I did get a scrap it was 1/2 to 1 ounce of meat. The few times I actually got enough for a full bit it ended up being 90% fat and grisl. I was basically starving at a buffet that i had paid a lot of money for. Every thing that people requested was never responded to. My son had ask for some more grilled chess. It never came. As I was leaving i remembered that my guess were supposed to get a $25 gift card. As I stood waiting for the cards I noticed a full tray of grilled cheese sitting on the side of the counter. I ask if I could get a couple to put in the to go tray we had gotten for the left over Seafood towers. The guy tells me he can't do that. It's a heck of a note that we couldn't get the damn food brought to us to eat but it sits on the counter for no one. He took it and threw it away. It was like we were dogs begging for scraps. No one even smile or spook to us in a welcoming way. I think they were actually scared. They seem to have cameras more for watching the employees than for security or safety. I hadn't eat that day because I was pump up for this. It was my retirement and it was going to be special. I had my most dear friends and family there and I wanted them to have something special. It's easily the most horrible dinning experience I've ever had. I would eat a MRE before doing this again. A $4000 budget and we went home and ate sandwiches. We could have had 30 Oz. Wagu steaks for a quarter of the price at many locations. I doubt we received $5 worth of food a piece. To say​ I'm piss off is a understatement. I have prayed to let it go but it just keeps coming back. Every time I've laid down to sleep I've had to get up because I get to thinking about it. There was only one waitress and she had her hands full. I think she had other tables also. The skewer severes were also working the main floor even though I had paid for them to work my event. My husband and I had reservations for our anniversary and were sat immediately. Our waiter came over quickly and service started off great but after we got our first drinks we rarely saw him again. He told us he'd bring cheesy bread, sides and sauces to complement our meal. We had to stop him and ask twice again and then ask a manager who stopped by who then said she would get them herself. He finally brought the sides and sauce but still no bread, manager never brought it by either, never saw her again. When we saw the waiter again my husband asked what it was that a table beside us had, the waiter said "oh that's the cheesy bread, do you want some?" It really felt like we were being punked. Even after this 5th request for the bread we NEVER got any. Two stars for the food that was pretty good and the Cheesecake Brulee that was amazing and the nice ambiance. I've been to many churrascarías from around Houston and others around the states. This was my third time visiting fogo de Chao and the first time here in cypress. I made a reservation for a party of 10 on New Year's Eve 12/31 and I was very very disappointed. Let's start with the only positive of the night and the reason they even get a 1 star. The wine pricing was honestly very very good. They did offer us a tasting of the Jorjao Reserve Blanc and we got it and tasted wonderful. Now food wise, the salad bar was very minimal compared to other churracarias I've visited ranging from Chama guacha, Gauchos de sol, avenida Brazil, Texas de Brazil. They literally had 2 choices of cheeses. They were good but the low rating is due to the variety to choose from. The server himself was very polite at first but after the greeting he was no where to be seen again. Everyone in our party got the full churrasco except 2 people who got the indulgent. We wanted to try the lobster Mac and cheese and we ordered it before we got up to get our salad bar food. Over 30 minutes passed and it never showed up. We attempted to find out waiter but he was no where to be found either. We had to ask another girl to please give us refills and to check on the lobster Mac but it never showed up. We were almost all done eating and we finally got our waiter and told him to cancel the lobster Mac because we were all finished eating at that point and there was no apology or anything the only response we got was "oh I heard you canceled it and it was already ready". Drinks refills had to be asked for multiple times, I mean just to get water was almost impossible. I'm not sure what happened but after coming here to post this review and reading the others it seems like this is a trend. Seems like they're either short staffed or not up to date on how to handle simple things such as refills. To be honest being a waiter at a buffet style restaurant isn't hard at all. All you literally have to do is greet, bring drinks, ask for deserts etc. At no time do you have to take customized orders from anyone or even bring them out to the table. After our experience and over $700 bill we will likely not return here. If you decide to go I'd probably try the woodlands or other location and maybe they're ran differently. read more

This relatively new location of Fogo de Chao is smaller than most other location s but they have made the most of the space they have. There's not much room to wait at the front as the host/hostess station is right in front of the door but you are able to wait at the bar. We had a reservation but were seated after a small wait. The location is busy and they were a little short staffed so there was a little longer of a wait for everything (water, drinks, dessert) than I am usually used to but the staff was friendly. Due to the space, there were not as many sides as other locations either. All in all a good experience. read more

It's an all you can eat steak place but all the steak lacks flavor and for $50 per person it's not worth it. The service was slow, and the only thing I liked was the crème brûlée cheesecake and the cheese bread. The steak was dry and lacked flavor. At the end for the crème brûlée cheesecake I asked for it to go box and waited a while and eventually just left because it was taking a long time just for it to go box. I wish I could recommend this place, but the food is pretty terrible (especially the cuts of meat). Maybe I came at the wrong time (12 pm brunch), but the menu was fairly limited, and I received many cuts of meat that were cuts where the server simply slid a piece of meat that was over-cooked, flavorless and mostly fat. The place is really nice looking, and the service was great. The picanha was good only when they sliced it thin, which is the way it should be. This might have been a case of several servers just dumping undesirable cuts of meat off on people. The place has potential and I have had better experiences at other Fogo locations. I have a point of a comparison with another place called Gauchos do Sul, and they are way better. I think Fogo could learn a bit from their competition. I hate putting a negative review, but I go to a churrascaria mostly for the meat, and this place is very disappointing. On a positive note, everything else outside of the meat is decent. read more

I came here for the last day of the soft opening, which did not disappoint. It was beautiful and elegant inside, and the staff was fantastic. There is a valet and they work for tips. There is also additional parking back around the building. When we entered there was a line of waiters and managers ready to greet us and check us in. Once we were sat at our table, the waiter went over everything with us and then we grabbed our plates and began exploring the wonderful Market Tables options which were very fresh and plated nicely. We had different cuts of beef, chicken, and pork (parmesan pork is my favorite and you have to try it). I have been to Fogo many times but at different locations of course and it was even more delicious here. The brunch was fantastic and the mini waffles were very nice and tasty. I was brought in for a soft opening to test the staff and the menus. All I can say is it is over-the-top amazing. Though the soft opening was complementary I'm astounded at the prices and how reasonable they are for what you get. Yesterday, I took my husband to this location for the first time to celebrate Father's Day dinner. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from start to finish. We arrived at 8:00 PM without a reservation and were informed by a gentleman in a blue shirt with grey and white hair that the wait would be approximately one hour. We completely understood and were happy to wait. However, when 9:00 PM came around, we were still waiting, and we noticed another group of family who had arrived way after us were seated before us. Given that it was Father's Day, we remained patient and continued to wait for another 15 minutes. At around 9:15 PM, my husband approached the same gentleman at the front to inquire about the wait time. The gentleman immediately apologized and admitted that he had forgotten to call us. He then seated us right away. Although we were a bit frustrated, we did not want the situation to ruin our evening. Once seated, we were greeted by a gentleman who promptly took our drink and food orders. He has a white shirt on and a very slim body, aged mid 40. I'm guessing he's our server? Fifteen minutes passed, and neither of our drinks had arrived. We flagged down our server same person, who apologized and returned shortly with my husband's cocktail but unfortunately, he forgot mine. Another 40 minutes went by, and I noticed our server was engaged in a long conversation with another table for about 10-15 minutes, completely forgetting about my drink. At that point, my husband waved down another staff member in a blue shirt named Travis. He was incredibly kind and apologetic, and he returned with my drink in under five minutes. From that moment on, Travis checked on us three more times throughout the meal, which we truly appreciated. After we finished our dinner by the way, the food was absolutely delicious we ordered two desserts. We waited about 10 minutes before anyone checked in. A few team members came by and assured us the desserts were on their way. However, 15 more minutes passed with still no desserts. We flagged down another staff member in a blue shirt, who went to check with the kitchen. He returned and apologized, explaining that the kitchen had forgotten to prepare our desserts. At this point, we were understandably frustrated. However, he assured us the desserts were now being made, so we decided not to cancel. In total, we waited about 20 minutes for the desserts. After that, we requested the check. Despite the disappointing experience, I still left a 20% tip out of respect for the staff who did their best to make things right especially Travis. Would I return? I'm not sure. But I do believe in giving second chances. I hope this feedback is helpful and encourages improvements in service going forward. Thank you. read more

Had one service of meat ( filet migpn 3rd class ). Then 2 service of chicken and no more meat until I complained. Life with hunger and fort $175 for little s salad. Never again. What a scam. read more

Fogo de Chão delivers an impressive Brazilian steakhouse experience. Highlights include the Parmesean-encrusted pork, filet mignon, ribeye, and lamb, all cooked well and flavorful. Adventurous diners will appreciate the Brazilian rattlesnake and bacon-wrapped chicken. The ambiance was very nice with mannered and well dressed folks and not too loud or too quiet Fried chicken, however, was overcooked and disappointing, and the ice cream, while decent, lacked excitement. Service is excellent, with staff attentive and courteous throughout the meal. Overall, Fogo de Chão offers spectacle quality and variety, but occasional execution flaws prevent it from achieving perfection. read more
