If you are looking for an elevated bar menu and main character vibes, this is the place! The patio is beautiful and comfy with fire pit and white linen details. Highly recommend the crab cake, and I'm a seafood snob from Maryland, so this is the real deal! Most incredible I've found in SLC! The filet mignon board was also amazing! We were so swept up and hungry, we forgot to take pictures of entrees. Next time for sure! The moscato wine was generous and served in the largest beautiful glass, a bounty! The cucumber splash drink was refreshing and delicious, perfect compliments to our pairings! Loved the patio and bar bites! This is our new favorite restaurant. We came on a Saturday night so I would suggest making reservations. It was last minute thought. The lovely hostess, Taylor, seated us after a short wait at a table just adjacent to the dining room in area the bar. It was great. My girlfriend is Brazilian and she raved about how great the place was and how much it reminded her of Brazil. She was my tour guide and knew what to ask for what was coming. The salad bar was fantastic. Next time I won't overdo it, but I can't believe this restaurant has received bad reviews over the salad bar and the service and the meats. That was not our experience in any such matter. Our server was the Bartender Paul, and he did a great job keeping us served with water and drinks for my girlfriend. It was not his primary job to be a server, but he took care of us. The rare meat just kept coming. It was delicious. What was particular notice was floor manager Augusto who came over and made sure that we were having a great time. Very friendly and it was nice talking to him. He came over several times and then at the end of the night one of the managers, Alexander, came and spoke with us and even walked us out and opened the door for us. This restaurant is there to please. It is our new favorite restaurant. It definitely deserves a higher overall review status. I'm recommended it to all my friends. The staff did great taking care of us most of the time. My son gave me a $200 gift card and had a lot of great things to say about this place. My son did not visit the salad bar. He just got the upgraded package and ate only the meat and lobster. So my husband and I got the most expensive package, (bcz it's what my son recommended for the full experience) which was about $89 deal with that we all you can eat meats we added the lobster and lava cake. I waited for over an hour and got zero ribeye and zero filet mignon. There was a lot of sirloin being brought out and lamb and chicken, but ribeye came out once in an hour and a half and filet mignon as well . I had to ask the servers over and over. The biggest disappointment was the salad bar. How do you charge an $89 plate and have a salad bar F- Salad bar! It was empty more than half the time we were there. I got up several times I could not get a decent salad because there was not enough lettuce being put out the little that was put out the Romain chunks were so huge that i couldn't fit it in my mouth. And the rice was dried and crunchy. They rice had been sitting in crock pots for so long that it was hard and crunchy. I'm just really sorry I would love to do a second review and change it if and when I visit Fogo a second time they literally have to reprogram. Whoever is in charge of their salad bar to do a better job. You can't charge high end prices in have low scale salad bar not everybody goes for the meat even though we're still willing to pay the high price. It'd be nice to be able to eat a salad. read more

Came in on a Friday night for a friend's birthday. Our reservation was at seven, but we weren't able to get seated until 715. I really like the design of the bar area. I didn't like the flags all over felt like it took away from the restaurant design. I'm sure it's for the World Cup! They have a $59 deal online if you mention it and it includes pretty much everything but the additional side. I was a little worried that we wouldn't get enough food, but there was plenty of meat going around. Save room, especially if you want to try different cuts because they're cooking as they go. I've been here twice now. Once for brunch and once for dinner. Unreal service and ambiance in both settings. The brunch had additional options at the nugget to include custom omelette and waffles. They were however out of waffles so we didn't get to try it... we dressed more casual for lunch. For dinner you absolutely need a reservations. And it's so fun cause you can dress up! Such a classy white tablecloth establishment. Please get the Brazilian lemonade. It. Is. So. Good. Ugh! We also got the waygu steak for the table. It's dinner and show when you order that! It feeds 2-4 people depending on how much you eat. They slice it at your table and transfer it to a hot salt rock so you can further sear it to your liking. We were sat down immediately with our reservations on a Saturday right before Christmas and got to ordering right away. The staff was incredible and took care of us - we felt like we were home. The market table had a great variety of salads, fruits, vegetables, and other items that accompanied the meal well. Once we started the meat rotations, we didn't try a meat we didn't like, however my *only* complaint is that there were supposedly 18 different meats available, but we only saw the same 7-8 rotating around. When we were done with the meal, we started to see different meats enter the rotation, which was a little disappointing considering we were there at 6:30 and left around 8:15. I really wish we would've gotten to see more of the meats before it was too late. Other than that, the service was fantastic. The Managers checked on us often asking if everything was good, and the gauchos really took care of us. Shout out to Alan (Manager), Tiffanie (server), Alex, and Gerson (gauchos), for making us feel like we're family. Came here on a date with my husband for a date night! We both got the 'Indulgent Churrasco'! One of us picked 'Butter-Bathed Lobster Tail' and the other picked 'Roasted Bone Marrow' we were both VERY impressed with both, but obsessed with the Roasted Bone Marrow! This might be the best brazillian steakhouse I've been to. I would definitely say that the meats were cooked extremely well, even the drinks were fantastic, but the greatest separator between the others is the service. The staff was fantastic, and remembered how you like your meat cooked, if one skewer was well done, they would come back around with another one at medium rare. The selection was good, but the service was better. I do feel that their salad/sides bar was a little lack luster compared to the meats being offered. Though there were several items I was surprised to see, like smoked salmon and dragon fruit. I would definitely recommend visiting once, but I know that the price point of the restaurant was significantly higher than some of the others, and that might be a deterrent for me to visit unless there was a specific reason for going. They do have a reward program, but that does require several visits to get a reward. The restaurant itself is brand new, and a great spot to visit. The bar has a really cool decor and every detail has been designed with purpose in mind. read more

Visited Fogo De Chao on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend, we snagged reservations a couple months before! I got the Full Churrasco experience and my boyfriend got the Indulgent Churrasco with the lobster tail. All of the meats were perfectly cooked and juicy, we both liked the Picanha most. I got the skinny Caipirinha and it was alright. From what I understand, this location only recently opened up. I could tell they are still a little disorganized when it came to serving our table and keeping items in stock at the market table. Our experience still went pretty well, I think after a couple more months they should be running more smooth and I'd like to try them out another time! read more

With the restaurant just opening this week the staff did a very good job. Water glasses were never more than half empty and we constantly had someone stop by to see if they could do anything to help us enjoy our stay. They even offered to have the kitchen make us something if we didn't see anything that we liked. All of the food was very fresh right off the grill. They had someone slicing fruit for the salad bar right in front of us. My favorites were the ribeye steak, filet minon, bacon wrapped steak, and the picahana. read more

Meats came around a bit slow and not as many varieties as I would like. Food: You're paying for the quality and ambiance basically, and of course everyone gets the $65 experience with the salad bar and rotating meats. Everything was pretty delicious, but I thought the salad bar was a bit lacking in variety. Meats were good. No grilled pineapples but apparently they can make them upon request, it just takes a while. First of all the hostess was incompetent. We arrived with no reservations and the place was not close to busy. She turned us away, I walked outside and made a reservation for 5 minutes later online and walked in. For a $65 per person price point you'd expect better service and selection. Salad bar is mediocre as far as selection and subpar as far as food taste and quality for salad bar. Then the meat started coming, I asked if they had Fraldinha, they said yes and the after asking for it 5 times, it finally came to us for the very last meat. The rest of the meat was about the same quality as Tucanos or Rodizios. Not worth the price point. In addition to this the service was terrible. Our waitress came by our table once in the beginning then once at the end. We ordered a drink and had to ask for it twice to get it, it took 15 minutes to get our soda. We then had to flag down a manager to ask for a refill after sitting there waiting. The cheese bread was good, we also had to ask several people more than once to bring us a refill until we finally got more bread. Other free appetizer sides were subpar. The service, the salad bar and the meat selection does not match the price point. Bring back Texas de Brazil!!! read more

We visited recently with a reservation for a group of 10, and overall had a decent experience, but there were a few things worth noting. The space itself feels a bit tight, but the ambiance is nice, slightly dark, very open, and the Andover layout works well. The bar area is spacious and the drinks were very good. The service was genuinely great. Even though they had just opened, the servers were well-informed and very kind. The front staff, however, came off a bit rude, but it wasn't a big deal. The owner/manager even stopped by our table to check in, which we appreciated. We ordered the meat service, which was good, but the salad bar felt limited compared to other Brazilian steakhouses. We also tried the salmon, and unfortunately it was extremely dry... almost not edible, which was disappointing, especially for the price. Speaking of price... everything is on the expensive side. The lunch and dinner menus are basically the same, but dinner jumps up by $20-$40 with no change in offerings, which feels hard to justify. Very disappointed with my experience. I paid $49.99 for dinner, and the meat I was served was burned on the outside but still raw inside. The pieces were very small, and the sausages were burned and so hard that my mother could not eat them. Some of the meat was so undercooked that I could not even tell if it was chicken or something else. The salad bar looked messy, had very few selections, and the lettuce appeared yellow and old. The cashier was nice, but the chefs looked angry and unfriendly. Overall, the food tasted bad, and the quality was unacceptable. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, but the hostess could benefit from additional training and improved customer service skills. Our waitress was attentive and professional; however, the food experience was disappointing. It took over an hour and 20 minutes for a tomahawk steak to arrive, and it was cooked incorrectly. After sending it back, we waited another 20 minutes and were served a ribeye instead, which was also cooked incorrectly. This location would greatly benefit from stronger upper management oversight and more consistent training for the entire team, including managers, to ensure a better dining experience for guests. read more

First of all, this is just my opinion on this day. You walk in the door and it's very impressive. A great place for a special event birthday wedding celebrations graduation dinner. I was warmly greeted by the maître D and taken to a perfect table right near the buffet of salads and other Brazilian dishes. Note that the buffet is extra except if you order like I did. "A taste of Brazil". Special up until the end of June $49 including all you care to eat beef on skewers. I was there for the beef and that's where I was let down I had heard amazing things about this place and I was hoping they were all true not just because I wanted good food, but because I love to see people succeeded things when they work so hard After taking my seat, I was greeted by two wonderful waitresses who couldn't have done enough during the meal. One was training the other, and they were both incredibly engaging. The Brazilian buffet had a lot of things on it that I just don't like because I'm a pretty fussy eater, but it has some wonderful Caesar salad, caramelized, bacon, wonderful blue cheese. I went ahead and put a bit on my plate, not wanting to overdo it. Again, I was there for the beef! You were given a plastic Disc one side green one side red. If you flip it over to the red side, it means you wanna take a break for a bit from the meet. The green size means load me up. I don't remember what the first skewer was but I do remember it was impossible for me to cut into it so I pushed it on the side of the plate and turn my color green. Came again with several things which I tried, but was less impressed with because they were tough to cut and chewy. A couple of steak derivatives, and the other with Chicken, which is probably pretty good, but I didn't try it. Lacking the whole time what the stake was that wonderful charred, black color that gives it such a distinctive bite comparing it to fish or chicken. I told my Gaúcho I was really into the lamb, lamb chops, top sirloin ,bottom sirloin, and ribeye. And filet mignon. The service was wonderful. He came right away with some very good looking sirloin. He sliced it thin, and I took it with my thongs put it on my plate cut into it and found out. It was somewhat tough. But cooked the way I like it, medium rare. Next came my old staple. Ribeye grain fed or at least grain finished. He sliced the perfect spot on the ribeye just above the spinosus muscle that tender chunk of beef on the top of the ribeye is always very small, but so delicious. But it wasn't. It lack that wonderful taste and somewhat pleasant resistance to chewing that a ribeye can give off. That was the biggest disappointment. He then came with some lamb, which I thought was quite good and a couple of really tiny baby lamb chops of what he only gave me one ? Hmmm And finally came to filet mignon. He carved me two generous portions, and I could see that they were very rare. They were very tender because they were falling apart, but when it fell apart of my mouth it was tasteless. THE MASHED POTATO WARS I don't know about you, but mashed potatoes are supposed to be served really hot even smoking. It gives the best taste of a spud at that temperature. My first mashed potato dish was beautifully presented, with lots of butter and scallions, but cool. I asked her for a replacement. And it was brought quickly still not hot,..... finally on my third attempt I got something resembling medium heat. Now here's the thing: Most of the other stuff, the carving stuff hit a cold plate so it's cool, whenyou eat it . Not ideal for me maybe if I was out in an igloo mountain climbing it would be acceptable but I wasn't. I was gonna dish out half a 100 for this. If the mashed potatoes were good and hot, I could've warmed the meat up with that and it would've been delicious. Except that there was no charred taste. A cold plate with cold meat and luke warm potatoes is not my idea of dining. What's the solution? Serve warmer plates that could be a start. They do offer to change your plate very often while you're eating so the residual taste. Don't stay on the plate. Like I said earlier the service is incredible. The place is beautiful. A lot of work and energy went into this and I hate to see it and not live up to the lofty expectations I had. Will I go back? Hmmm? Yes, but I will not be the first person in the door. But do it in the early evening or late afternoon. If you want to impress someone with an incredible decor and a wonderful weight staff well trained. This is the place to take them. Maybe next time I'll bring my own hot plate. My check came to $53 which is the $49 special plus tax. I left a $12 tip because I am a former service person and I know how hard they were working to make me happy. So hats off to the staff at Fogo de Chao! Classy segment first class. Now let's get the beef together and get those plates warmer. read more

We visited this restaurant yesterday to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. While we were dining, one of the servers who was cutting meat right next to our table dropped his knife on the floor. He immediately picked it up and continued cutting and serving meat with the same knife without properly cleaning or replacing it. This was extremely concerning and unhygienic. This was not what I expected for a special birthday celebration. It's definitely a birthday my daughter will remember -- but for the wrong reasons. My husband and I went there for dinner and we couldn't believe the price! Just for the two of us to eat there, it was $162 not even including our $20 tip!! I think that's freaking ridiculous! Reservation mix-up, salad bar picked over and pitiful, no refills on bread, had to ask multiple times for water/drink refills, meat frequency was inadequate (for what you pay for) and meat options were flavorless and chewy. Server provided a meat option we were actually waiting for at the end but they ran out before everyone at table could take a slice. Said they'd grab some more and be back. Didn't happen. I've been to Fogo de Chao several times in the D.C. area and it's always excellent. I was excited when I found out that a location was going to be opening so close to my house! The Murray location did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in, the "experience" begins and the service is exceptional. We arrived a few minutes before our 6:15 PM reservation. Apologies (literally) were given for our "wait" when we were seated at 6:18 PM. Our server Grant was at our table in less than a minute, explained the menu, and took our drink order. The food is amazing. I highly recommend (in addition to the fantastic meats being served), the crab cake and the lobster mac and cheese. They were both so good!! Grant was fantastic.
