Hello 2 for 1 margaritas!!! Yes that sign caught my attention. Plenty of parking and the staff was real friendly as we walked in. They were very attentive to all our needs. The margaritas were sooo good! And made wonderfully! I ordered the nachos and wow?!! Good and they gave plenty of toppings. I also ate a carne asada taco which was good, they have tv's to watch. Food was delicious! My nachos were so flavorful and had a hint of lemon. It had the cheeses I was craving. The ceviche was perfectly put together and had the right amount of acidity with sweetness. My mango drink wasn't too sweet. It was perfect, and it was in a very large portion. All in all - a great spot for some real authentic Mexican food. I loved it and will go again. read more

Like usual, I never know what I am doing. I have seen this place from the road a couple of times and decided to stop in. Apparently this is a seafood/Mexican restaurant. Very nice inside and well lit up. People were eating here and there was about 8 other people. Music was authentic and I didn't understand a word. But, so was the menu. I only understood burrito, taco, etc. most of the menu was in Spanish. I just told the waitress to bring me something good and it was her choice. They had a setup for a live band. Apparently they don't rock out on Tuesdays so I may have to stop by on a Friday evening. My soup was a white rice based soup. It was very good, but super HOT!! I had to wait for it to cool down. My waitress was nice and tolerated me well. What a saint. Chips and Salsa were good, but very standard. It's like everyone buys the chips at the same store. Salsa was not burn your mouth hot, I like that. Kabobs. Omg nom nom. The shrimp was so soft and juicy. They had bacon, grilled onions, peppers. They were so good. Beans and rice mixed together was so delicious. They obviously know how to make perfect beans. Usually beans are not rememberable, so I was pleasantly surprised. Soup is still too hot. I started running out of steam on the tortillas shells they gave me. I made it through about 3 and went back to the soup. Soup had cooled down and had good flavor. It was not as exciting, just soup. The Tortillas had good flavor but seemed a little dry. They may have been corn tortillas and were supposed to be that way. I like those super soft kind that are almost steaming when you get them. This place was super fun and the food was great overall. I would not have imagined a Mexican Seafood place, but wow was the combination good. I've been wanting to try this place since I moved here 8 months ago and I'm so glad I was finally about to try it. We were warmly greeted by the owner who allowed us to self seat at a booth. They have just about every hot sauce on their tables, it takes up quite a bit of room but convenient. There is a lot to choose from their menus and usually pictures on menus are a red flag for me but the dishes we had were exactly what was pictured. I have gone to the original location many times. The other location was pretty good, not great and the fish is not consistent. You might get lucky and get better than average fish or you might get unlucky and get stuff that's well below average. Anyway, we decided to give the new location a try. First we ordered the Bonta de ceviche Mixta, it costs $15.99. They gave us something with a la Diabla sauce and charged us for the Bonta Mixta, which costs $26.95. It was okay for me, but it wasn't what the rest of my family wanted. The rest of the food was okay, I got Camarones a la Diabla. Not bad, middle of the road shrimp. My wife got prawns in garlic butter. That was pretty good. My kid got the 7 seas soup. Seafood in that was okay. My wife got a Michelada and I got a regular Modelo, they charged us for 2 Micheladas. No idea if the overcharging was accidental or not, but it made for a much less enjoyable experience. read more

Food was really tastey but when asked for market price on the fish the server was just guessing, didn't go to double check and wasn't sure how it was prepared either. When we got the ticket the prices of two of the items was different than the menu price by $1-$2 and when asked about it she didn't go get the menu she just said that it was prepared differently and that is why it's that price. Also, one of the item name was different on the ticket than what we ordered and told her about it and her answer was that it was the same price as what I ordered which was $2 more than the menu price. read more

The size and quality of the items we ere served at M.E. were inferior to what we received at the other place, yet the price was higher. We were shocked with a $72 bill for 3 people without alcohol. The decor is very minimal. I think they had fourth graders do the wall texture and paint. Anything can be forgiven when the food tastes good and is a good value. But M.E. needs to improve. read more

I'm so happy that the food served at Mariscos Ensenada 2 is just as great as the wonderful food at their original Redwood location. I ordered my longtime favorite, the fish taco combination. Each of the two tacos contains a perfectly breaded and fried piece of fresh fish on a warm tortilla, topped by cabbage and pico de gallo. In addition to the delicious red salsa served with the chips, a green guacamole-like sauce is served with the fish tacos which, frankly, is one of the most delicious salsas I've ever had. The service is always spot-on at either restaurant, and I look forward to continuing to visit both restaurants in the future (hopefully soon!). read more

The best mexican food you'll have in midvale! Going to many other mexican restraunts this one definitely has to be in my top 5! My boyfriend and I have been to the first Mariscos Ensenada in taylorsville and they did well with the second building. I had a chicken and shrimp burrito smothered in red sauce with rice and beans on the side, he had the carna asada and shrimp, they served us chips and spicy salsa and small seafood broth soup with rice that had amazing taste for an appetizer. Staff was extremely nice and clean as well as the building. Made you feel like you were in a mexican restraunt in california which makes it more of a cool place. Its has plenty of seating and parking which is a bonus if you want to bring your family and friends! They do sell alcohol so you can have a cold beer or margarita with your meal. read more
