The good - Beautiful, high end decorated restaurant - Beet Carpaccio was super tasty and perfect for summer - The salmon was perfectly cooked - Nice selection of oysters The not so good - Service was not as attentive as you would expect for a restaurant at this price point. It took over 25 min to get our servers attention for a side of lemon for our fish - The bone in pork chop was a lil tough and dry. We hosted my SO's milestone birthday dinner here, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the very beginning, Kimi made everything easy. She personally replied to my initial inquiry and stayed helpful, responsive, and organized throughout the planning process. We needed a space where all 14 of us could sit together, and the board room ended up being the perfect fit. At first it seemed a bit tucked away, but once we saw it in person, we loved it. It even has an Amazon assistant for music, which we fully intended to use creatively, but we ended up leaving it on the same band all night because we were too busy talking and enjoying ourselves. We pre‑ordered appetizers, something I wasn't initially thrilled about, but it turned out to be the right call. It saved us from having to coordinate choices with 13 other people. Our group aren't huge eaters, so we sampled the beet carpaccio, which was light but delicious, and the bruschetta, which was also very good. Once drinks and appetizers wrapped up, Jeremy came by to take our entrée orders. There was a pork chop special and a grouper special that evening. I had the grouper, which was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and not a hint of fishiness. Several people ordered the pork chop, which looked fantastic, and the fried chicken was another popular choice. After dinner, Jeremy, who had been wonderfully attentive all night, surprised us by bringing out perfectly cut slices of the cake we brought, complete with lit candles and a cute sparkler for my SO's slice. It was such a thoughtful touch. All in all, it was a truly memorable evening. Huge thanks to Kimi and her team for making the celebration so special. Kimi's place has been such a special place to me because two of my cousins have had their receptions here and it's where I had my 30th birthday! That aside, Kimi personally is such a kind sweet soul and you can feel that reflected in the service. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Very patient when explaining new menu items and constantly walking around to fill our cups and clear the table. They're just so attentive! Food is AMAZING! We ordered the dozen oysters, four of each that they had available (8 were from BC and 4 from WA). The BC ones were our favorite, fresh with hints of lime! Oysters were extremely expense for what you get -- and we didn't enjoy the taste of any of them (we got all three types they offered). The crab cakes were good, as well as the golden beets and soup, and the egg rolls were the table favorite. Our entrees were all just good -- not great, no one was "wow-ed" by their food. It was good, but again for the price, I feel like it should have been much better. The steak was a nice cut, but flavor was average. Wow was I impressed with this place! It's new so it can be a little misleading to find because there's a sign for Richelle's Salon and Spa. But know you're in the right place and park in the back! The atmosphere was SO classy and unique that you just feel calm the entire time. Light jazzy instrumental music, dimmed lights, soft chairs and a nice bar set in the middle. (You can actually get a nice seat giving you a beautiful view of Mt Olympus). A lot of people were dressed up fancy, we just came in nice pants and me a blouse. The food was fantastic! I got the lamb which was a special of the day and my bf got the steak frites. He's a steak snob but it made #2 on his top list! Since it is a higher end restaurant it's more on the pricey end but definitely worth it. They also have a cute mocktail list if you don't drink alcohol but like fancy drinks. Lighting was low but the aesthetics lightly reminded me of the darker areas of the MOMA in NY. But my foodie friend and I didn't come to a restaurant for its atmosphere. We came to eat. I had the sautéed Pacific Salmon. It had a good crust on it and was still moist in the inside. Overall, a solid 4 star. My friend gushed over how amazing the Tuna was. Apparently, it was the best plate he's ever had in Utah. Maybe I'll have to come back to try it myself. The Wagyu Sirloin appetizer was serviceable but not particularly memorable. The dessert was good and the sprinkle of pistachios on the "chocolate kiss" was a delight.
