Cheesecake Brulee
Vanity H.

First time here and I'd say I enjoyed myself and so did my boyfriend. It was a date night for us/early sweetest day gift to him. We also went to 13th floor haunted house right after which is 5min away. We starved ourselves until our reservation at 5pm. $49 best of brazil deal highly recommended! We got seated about 2min after we arrived. Caesar was our server and he was really nice! Gave us a crème brûlée cheesecake for our anniversary. The other servers were also kind and very attentive. They catered to us quickly - Loved the service! Tried the cold bar first and honestly just a bunch of different stuff that was just okay. My fav was their pork & beans + their sweet bacon (yummmyyyy). The meats came out SWINGING! Every time I tried talking to my boyfriend another person was showing up with meat! Lol Everything was okay but I got so full sooo quick. Their parmesan pork surprised me positively. Their cheese & honey was my personal favorite!

Beautiful place, great environment and the service is amazing, Nate super friendly and the food always good.

Excellent service, and great food as always Nate was one of waiters and he makes feel like home.

Lamb, filet, sausage, salad bar

We came here right after the airport to meet another couple for dinner! Service was pretty on top of making sure we had soda refills and everything we needed. I wish we could order just a bunch of the little cheese breads at once! Those are the best. We did the full churrasco experience and enjoyed the garlic steak, lamb, sausage and cheese+honey the best! I think next time I'd stick to the garlic steak and sausage as those were my faves. I didn't try any chicken but our party thought the chimichurri chicken was really good! I did appreciate that they ask if there's anything particular you'd like, if you say no to their offering. There were definitely times where all the offerings were out and times where it slowed down and there wasn't a lot out. Definitely an ebb and flow. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My only issue was that it was quite loud and hard to hear staff or even across the table sometimes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not necessarily the restaurants fault though! The parking is also a little confusing but ended up being fine -- the garage has free parking!

Good and nice display on the hot and cold salad bars. Welcoming and attentive service, considering the busy Holiday rush. Would highly recommend. Loved the chicken and the lamb chops.

Overall: Satisfied with the staff friendliness, cheese bread, meat quality, and buffet bar selection. Slightly dissatisfied with the wait time of certain requests (like an extra straw), the inability to understand which meats are being served to you, and the key lime pie. - Would I return?: Yes, if you like a unique restaurant experience, meat, and a variety, then it's a great place. Talking to your guests may be difficult because of the almost non-stop meat interruptions. But If you are having a large party or want to talk to your guests, I'd suggest going during lunch hour when it's not as loud. My Food (I paid for the unlimited buffet and meats) ---------- * Stand out meats: Rib Eye, Lamb (2 kinds), Pork Belly w/ lime & honey, Filet Mignon *Ordered menu food: Brazilian Lemonade, Key Lime Pie * Flavor & Taste- First off, the free Brazilian cheese breads are one of the best parts. And they will keep bringing them out for you. My favorite meats are the lambs and the filet mignon. The Brazilian lemonade is also great and they will keep refilling. For the buffet bar, I love the wide selection. The rice, roasted veggies, and Greek salads are my favs. Personally, I hated the key lime pie I ordered. The crust was on the mushy side and tasted like mashed black beans. Was also disappointed with the "goat cheese with honey" squares that was served by the staff. I was expecting it to melt in my mouth but it tasted stiff. * Portion Size vs. Price- $65 each for all-you-can-eat during dinner (half off during lunch). For quality meats and a wide selection, I think it's worth it. The Place -------------- * Atmosphere- Large seating area that opens up to more space. Interior design is on the fancier side. People either dress up to attend, or they are very casually dressed. * Service- Table waiters are extremely friendly and over the top helpful. Though, I asked for a drink straw and waited at least 5 minutes while also asking another staff member. My friend also requested a specific meat and needed to ask the wait staff multiple times before actually getting it to the table. You will also always have a staff member ask to clear off plates from your table many times throughout your meal. The meat staff do not speak clearly or loudly when walking up to your table, so I needed to ask multiple times which meat they are serving, and sometimes I still did not understand. Not a big deal though. * Crowd Levels- Monday, 6pm, busy * Cleanliness- Clean, but there are sometimes tiny flies in the air. * Location- In a very nice Rosemont restaurant park, separate from the other restaurants. * Parking- Free parking garage (it's a confusing garage and you will need to walk 1/4 mile to the restaurant and validate your ticket) or $15 restaurant valet

Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Came here on Saturday 3/22/25. Was visiting from California to see my son in the Navy. The service was exceptional! My Customer Service Representative was Nick. He made sure that my experience there with my family was pleasant and memorable. He took care of all of our needs and requests, was very personable, and very knowledgeable about all of the different menu items, and cuts of meat. All of the food was great. We came during brunch, and the waffles were delightful. Not heavy, very light, had a nice crisp around the edges and a nice flavor. Thank you, Nick for a pleasant dining experience thank you to the rest of the staff. Hope to see you next time we're visiting.

Amazing company dinner here. The amazing and delicious fire roasted cuts of meat was all top notch quality. Love the filet mignon, lamb chops, bacon wrapped steaks, picanha, top sirloin and the pork belly was my favorites of the night. The Market Table was amazing with so many options for roasted veggies, salads and more. The service staff was wonderful and able to give attentive service to our big group. Wine glasses was always full, water glasses was filled. My negative feedback was the spacing of the BBQ meats was a bit rushed. I wished it was spaced out more to truly enjoyed the BBQ. The atmosphere was relaxing. And the private room felt like we were having a private dinner.

Salty meats and bloody filet mignon. This fillet mignon was supposed to be medium well - NOT.
Chloe P.

We wanted to like this place, because it was the first time for most of us. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience and had to spend almost $700 for sub standard food and service. All of the meats we had were extremely salty and the cuts were mostly either dry or bloody. I think the meats they use is low quality and they had to cook them rare, so that they don't get tough and chewy. We were celebrating a birthday, so decided to splurge a little and go here. I wish we read the reviews and chose another restaurant. They may have served a lot of meat, but they did not taste good - salty, dry or bloody! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The white table cloth got so disgusting looking because of the bloody meats they cut.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We all had the indulgent churrasco which included the market buffet which had salads, soup, cheese, smoked salmon, etc. The meat was definitely NOT WORTH IT! The only thing I enjoyed was the cheese and honey. We also felt rushed here. The server Alyssa talked so fast and was moving around like a bee constantly asking if we needed anything else and always clearing our plates. When she gave the bill, she hovered around our table waiting for us to pay. We were only there for not even an hour. Definitely not a good experience, since we were charged an exorbitant amount for substandard food and rushed service. Will NOT go here again!

Susan D.

We stopped by after a Cubs game. Busy but well organized. We enjoyed all the salad bar options- fruit, veggies, meats and cheeses plus salads. We love our steak rare and were not disappointed. Many great meat options were offered. We were disappointed in the cheese bread- it wasn't as we remembered it. Tiny and more crunchy than soft. But we enjoyed our mojitos (regular and skinny) and dessert (mango and Ice cream). Not hard for 2 adults to rack up a $250 bill with tip. Service was efficient and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tables were filled and pretty close together- a bit of an adventure to go back and forth to the salad bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Beautiful Christmas tree inside second set of doors

We visited this restaurant on December 30, 2024 to celebrate my sons birthday and we brought along his girlfriend who was visiting for the first time. This facility was so beautifully decorated just inside the first doors and inside the second doors for the holidays 2024. Upon entering the second doors there is a tree to the left and just in front of that is the hostess station. To the left of the hostess station is the bar and in front of the bar is an area for seating and down the hall is the washroom (which I did not use). Straight ahead is the salad bar and to the right inside the restaurant is the seating area. We chose the whole experience for the four of us that included the salad bar and the meats. The salad bar at this location is by far my favorite of anywhere especially the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes and the fresh bread. There is a complentary cheese muffin that is very tasteful. There was also a cheese that was served with honey, not sure what it is called and cannot find it on the menu. We all enjoyed many types of meat, although I asked for the sausage it never came around sadly. The meat we did have was delicious! The team there are kind and helpful. They are fast as well between cleaning the plates to topping off the water and and coming around with the meat. Our server Johnathon was super kind and helpful. Was even kind enough to take a photo of us. Manager Nathaniel A is attentive to his guests needs and is good at what he does. It's clear your team runs well under your management. Kudos to you!

My actual rating is 3.5. If you are a meat lover, true carnivorous this is your place. Excellent place for special celebrations. The service is really good, everyone is very attentive, and your plate, if you wish, is never empty. The salad bar, for me is the best part. A cornucopia of flavors, colors, textures, and aromas from a variety of veggies, fruits, salads, and charcuterie meats and cheeses. Their mixologists are knowledgeable serving a variety of cocktails, I enjoyed a good Negroni. The space is nice, specially during Christmas season. The price is reasonable as one can choose very good cuts of beef, lamb, and other meats and return to the salad bar unlimited times

Being able to walk over directly from the hotel without having to go back outside in the cold is a huge plus. I don't usually gravitate toward hotel restaurants or ones attached to hotels, but the food here was genuinely good. I didn't order a drink this time, so I can't speak to the bar program, but the meal itself was solid. The lunch was a preset menu, and due to my food allergies, I wasn't able to eat most of what came with the salad. That said, the main course was cooked nicely and had great flavor. The dessert was also very good and a nice way to end the meal. Overall it was a convenient and reliable option if you're staying at the Loews or nearby, with quality food that holds up even if you're not usually a fan of hotel-adjacent dining. I'd be open to coming back again.

My friend and i ate here based on the reviews and will say i would normally give this 2 stars BUT…read morethe service was so outstanding that I bumped it up to 3. First impression walking in was NOT great. We immediately smelled what can only be described as a VERY DIRTY bathroom smell. Other than the smell which we couldn't stop smelling until we ate and had some wine. The server was great to let us know that it was half off bottles of wine. And since the glass we initially wanted they didn't have this was a great option for us. We weren't able to finish the bottle so the server closed it up and sealed it in a bag for us to take with us. (Tuscan blend which was delicious) We ordered the Lobster Bisque to share to start with. The server/kitchen were kind enough to split it for us into two bowls. Overall the soup was good but NOT great. Then we ordered a bone in Ribeye (22oz) which came with crispy new potatoes and some some sautéed brocollini. We ordered the steak Medium Rare, it came out Medium + and since we were never checked in with on the temperature we ate it anyhow. The flavor was good but definitely far overcooked. The crispy new potatoes were perfectly crispy and the broccolini was sautéed and cooked very well. At the end of the day the service saved our experience. BUT because of the smell and the mis-cooked steak we would not return.

Had the burratta & fig, porkbelly brushetta, and a flatbread as apps. Loved it all. porkbelly was so tender, the burratta & fig was a good balance of sweet and savory. Needless to say, the flatbread was a hit with the kids as well. Other notable dishes were the beef shwarma and the crispy duck. Ambiance- LOVE it! It can be fancy if you want, it can be more casual if you want. Enjoyed the church vibes mixed with modern touch. Very well decorated. The outdoor area is so cute, esp overlooking the lake. We sat indoors but still a wonderful ambiance. Bonus: they have a changing table in the women's bathroom. Sorry, could not confirm in the men's. Service- this was definitely impressive. You don't always get service especially at some of these well known restaurants bc why would you have to have good service? We had made reservations online and it was initially indoor. They were so awesome about switching it to outdoor with out much trouble even if we were 10 minutes late. But the air quality was so bad so once we were about to get settled we requested for indoor again. There was only smiles and a happy to help attitude and got us settled. I want to highlight our waitress, Ciara (Sierra?). With a party of 9, she was so thoughtful of our orders esp for the kids. I mean, when we ordered lemonade for them she even asked if she wants us to water it down and as parents we were like YES! They do not need that much sugar LOL! She was just overall so warm and communicative. She checked in and made sure we were comfortable. Her smile and pleasant attitude made it easier when we had three little ones wanting to walk around after eating and trying to keep them entertained at a table.

We intentionally made this our "no budget" celebration, expecting exceptional food, service, and hospitality. Instead, it turned into one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've ever had. Our reservation was for 7:00 p.m. on July 2, and despite having a reservation, we waited more than 20 minutes to be seated. During that time, we watched people walk in, greet someone they appeared to know, and be seated immediately at the bar while we continued to wait. My husband had gone out of his way to ensure our anniversary would be acknowledged. He noted on the reservation that it was our five-year anniversary, called ahead before our dinner to confirm the restaurant was aware, and even checked with the host stand when we arrived. We weren't asking for anything extravagant--just the kind of small acknowledgment that many restaurants happily provide for guests celebrating a milestone. Nothing happened. There was no congratulations, no acknowledgment from our server, no candle with dessert, no handwritten note, nothing. We even ordered dessert ourselves, and it arrived exactly as if it were any ordinary Tuesday night. The service only added to the disappointment. Our server was curt, rarely checked on us despite our ordering two appetizers, two entrées, dessert, and several rounds of drinks, and never made us feel welcomed or cared for. For a restaurant positioning itself as a destination for special occasions, the level of hospitality simply wasn't there. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it. Considering the price point, we expected much more. Most dishes were surprisingly bland and underseasoned, and nothing we ordered stood out as memorable. At the end of the evening, my husband politely mentioned everything to the host stand. The response was essentially that our anniversary "must have gotten lost in communication," followed by an offer of a dessert to take home. By that point, the moment had already passed. A boxed dessert cannot replace a once-in-a-lifetime celebration that was overlooked from start to finish. No manager came over to speak with us, no one took ownership of the experience, and there was no meaningful attempt to make things right. This wasn't just dinner--it was our fifth wedding anniversary, a milestone we'll never get to celebrate again. We chose Foxtail because we trusted it would deliver an exceptional experience worthy of the occasion. Instead, we left feeling ignored, disappointed, and wondering why we spent so much money on an evening that felt like an afterthought. If you're looking for a restaurant to celebrate an anniversary, proposal, birthday, or other meaningful milestone, I cannot recommend Foxtail on the Lake based on our experience. There are too many restaurants that understand hospitality and know how to make guests feel special. Sadly, this wasn't one of them.

I grabbed a seat at the bar and waited about 10 minutes before the hostess came over. She politely let me know I needed to remove my hat or leave, even though I was tucked away in the corner. No big deal--I took it off... besides the inevitable hat hair! I was hoping to enjoy a glass of Moët or Dom Pérignon, but they don't offer either by the glass or in splits. The bartender recommended their Cava, and even let me sample it, which I appreciated. The only downside was the tasting glass had just come out of the dishwasher and was still warm, which took away from the experience. I ended up ordering the Cava, and it was a pleasant choice. The bartender recommended the Ahi Tuna Tartare, and it was easily the highlight of the meal. Beautiful presentation with vibrant colors, fresh ahi tuna, creamy avocado, sweet mango, and crispy wonton chips. Every bite was fresh, balanced, and packed with flavor. I would absolutely order it again. For my entrée, I ordered the Red King Crab Legs (half pound) for $88, served with garlic butter and garlic mashed potatoes. The crab itself was very good, but the plate leaned a little too heavily on the garlic for my taste. I asked for regular melted butter instead, and while the bartender happily brought it out, it unfortunately arrived cold. Between the cold butter and all the garlic, I didn't end up finishing the dish. The live piano music was a wonderful touch. She was incredibly talented and added to the upscale atmosphere throughout the evening. The service wasn't the best, but it was solid. There were a few small misses throughout the meal, but nothing that completely ruined the experience. I've been fortunate enough to enjoy seafood all over the country, and while Truluck's is a quality restaurant, I'd still rank Joe's Stone Crab in Chicago, Mama's Fish House in Paia, Hawaii, 555 East Steakhouse in Long Beach, and Swan Oyster Depot in San Francisco ahead of it. Overall, it was an okay dining experience. Nothing was bad, but nothing truly stood out enough to make me want to come back. I'm glad I gave it a try, but based on my personal experience, it just didn't live up to the expectations I had for the price point. 4 out of 5 stars. #TheFoodie99

I often eat shrimp cocktail from Costco at home as a good protein snack, but it's going to be tough to eat their shrimp after a taste of Hugo's. My husband was very happy with his steak, but was nice enough to share some bites with me and I can see why he was thrilled. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. They said dessert was on the house in honor of my husband's bday. He's a huge carrot cake fan and they brought out a slice of carrot cake that could feed 15 people. We had a bit and they even stored the leftovers for us until after the concert so we could take it home to our cake loving children. Both my husband and I agreed this was one of the better meals we've had in a long time and wondered why we've stayed away from Hugo's for so long!

Hubby had the porter house steak and I had the sea bass. So fluffy and delicious. We also had the asparagus which was crunchy and perfectly cooked. Dessert was blueberry cheesecake. The crust was to die for. Our server was so attentive and kind and was so thrilled with our generous tip but he totally deserved it and more. This place is great for special occasions. Check them out. There were parties of 5 plus and lots of couples. They have something for everyone with their Gibson's steaks. Check them out.

How did we get here... Harry Caray's, Rosemont…read more One of those places you don't expect to find this close to the airport... but somehow it feels like a destination on its own. Tucked near ORD, Harry Caray's delivers more than just a meal -- it's an experience that blends Chicago history, great food, and a lively atmosphere all in one. The space has a classic, energetic feel with just the right balance of upscale and welcoming. I arrived at lunchtime and went with the Italian wedding soup and garlic bread, and both hit exactly the way you want them to -- warm, flavorful, and comforting in the best way. well-executed dishes with bold flavor strong drinks that hit the mark an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer It's the kind of spot that works whether you're passing through or looking for a place that feels like a local favorite. Some places are easy to find... and others feel like a hidden gem. How did we get here?

The…read moreambiance of the restaurant was genuinely nice, but unfortunately that's where the positives end. The service was shockingly poor, and the food didn't come close to justifying the price. To put things into perspective, the restaurant only had about six tables occupied, so it wasn't busy at all. Despite that, it took 30 minutes just to place drink orders. After that, our server disappeared and never returned to take our appetizer or entrée order. We spent another 45 minutes trying to get her attention, at times clearly waving in her direction and even feeling like she was looking right at us, but she still didn't come over. She only came back after a long wait, and not because she was checking on us. When the food eventually arrived, it was underwhelming at best. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, which was bland and came with only a few small shreds of chicken mixed in, definitely not what you would expect from a nicer Italian restaurant. We also did not receive bread until we specifically asked, drinks were never refilled, and our server never once checked on us. After finishing our meals, we sat with empty plates and glasses for about 30 minutes before a busser, not our server, finally cleared the table. We then waited another 15 to 20 minutes before flagging down someone else to order dessert. That person only took one order and walked away without addressing the rest of the table. Eventually, flagged down another staff member who took our full dessert order, but after waiting another 30 minutes with nothing arriving, we decided to leave. The overall attitude from the staff was indifferent at best, and it genuinely felt like no one cared about the customer experience. Even when we spoke to the manager, there was little sense of concern or urgency. It was a very strange interaction. The only redeeming part of the evening was that, after significant pushback, a portion of our bill was discounted. Still, the entire experience lasting nearly three hours was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I would not return or recommend this place.

The restaurant was not busy at all and we were greeted immediately by our server but he seemed to be in a hurry and took mine and my daughters drink order and walked away, not letting my husband order. When he retuned with our drinks my husband asked for a drink, which he got quickly but never apologized and asked if we were ready to order food. We were not yet so we asked for more time, so he walked away. When he returned we ordered an appetizer and our entrees and he repeated it back. Our food arrived about 15 minutes later but we never got our appetizer. The server did not bring the meal (a runner did) and he never came back, so we just ate our meals and never got a chance to tell him our appetizer never came. At nearly the end of our meal a different server came and filled our water glasses and asked if we wanted refills on our soft drinks. then a third server came and cleared our plates. The server who filled our drinks came and brought our bill, which luckily did not include the appetizer. Our server never returned to our table, but we did see him serving other tables, it was very strange. Overall we will dine here again and like the convenience and menu selection at this hotel.

She walked away and then a gentleman walks up and literally asked us what we wanted. Food, drinks, what? I said, nothing....we don't want anything and we left. I understand (and presume due to the proximity to the airport) that a lot of their clientele are business travelers looking primarily for drinks at the bar. But my wife and I were dressed down and they just assumed we just wanted to eat at the bar. It just rubbed me the wrong way. We left and won't be coming back. No thank you, we don't "want" anything that badly.

My husband went once before me and raved about the food and service he had there about a month ago…read more We just went last weekend and I agree - what a neighborhood gem! We started with one of their Westco margaritas - and then we both ordered the Chuletson Con Westco (rib-eye with dinner salad and bone marrow). Wow -- just wow -- the steak was so nicely seasoned that you didn't need steak sauce. And the bone marrow with it -- just decadent - heavenly! The only area they may want to work on is to have a broader wine list as they were pretty limited on the red selection while we were there. Lovely service -- and the more leisurely pace found in a traditional steak place. Would love to go again later this Summer!

Wanted to love Westo because the ambiance and cocktails were beautiful, but unfortunately the food…read moreand service just did not match the concept. We ordered the octopus, patatas bravas, and the steak meal for two. The octopus was extremely overcooked and chewy, and the steak platter itself just felt underwhelming overall. Also... how does a Mexican steakhouse not provide tortillas with a steak platter? That honestly shocked me. The biggest confusion of the night was the patatas bravas situation. Our waitress forgot the dish entirely, then later brought over mashed potatoes and said they were "on the house." I was genuinely confused because I thought maybe this was their version of patatas bravas due to the seasoning on top. When I asked about it, she realized she accidentally brought mashed potatoes instead of the actual dish. She apologized and eventually brought the real patatas bravas, but even those tasted oddly sweet and missed the mark for us. To their credit, the staff did try to make up for it with complimentary shots, and the cocktails were honestly the best part of the experience. The space itself is gorgeous and has a very upscale vibe, but the food lacked cohesion and flavor for the price point. Sadly, not somewhere I'd personally return to.
