Didn't have a chance to take a picture of all the delicious food I had, but all I had to say was Mark. Our waiter was five stars and wish that every restaurant I went to had service that he gave me and my parents what I did have a picture of was the complimentary dessert he gave us. We all started with soup. They had all the great things to say about their New England clam chowder and highly recommend the lobster bisque so much deliciousness I will have to say that the bread I wish it was warmer . They do have a lunch special for $28 came with a soup and an entrée both my parents enjoyed their New York strip with fries cooked to perfection and I enjoyed the special of the moment which was a Wagyu cheeseburger with fries and a glass of red wine, which Mark also recommended which was great. He was very attentive made sure everything was clean even though it was a random Monday afternoon. He made me and my parents feel very special. Can't wait to go back.

The Capital Grille never disappoints. You spend a premium but what you receive is very great quality service, food, and atmosphere. Totally worth the splurge. Make sure you get Lobster Bisque. It's not on the menu but they always have it.

I absolutely love a great dining experience, and The Capital Grille truly delivered on all fronts. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful and elevated. I met my sister here for a long-overdue dinner catch-up, and we went all out -- ordering way more food than we probably needed, but honestly, it was worth it. The ambiance was upscale yet relaxed, perfect for a nice evening out without feeling overly formal. To kick things off, I ordered the Black Tie Margarita -- smooth, well-balanced, and strong enough to make a good first impression. As we sipped our drinks, the complimentary breadbasket arrived, and even that was impressive. Warm, fresh, and paired with butter that was just the right amount of salty and creamy -- it's the kind of breadbasket that makes you momentarily forget you even ordered appetizers. But we did order appetizers -- and not just one. We shared the Nueske's Smoked Bacon and the calamari. Both were delicious in their own right, but I have to give a special shoutout to the calamari. Hands down, some of the best I've ever had. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender inside, and tossed with hot cherry peppers that added just the right amount of kick. I could've easily ordered a second plate. For our entrées, I went with the filet mignon while my sister chose the ribeye. Both steaks were cooked exactly to our liking -- juicy, flavorful, and expertly prepared. You could really taste the quality of the meat and the care that went into the preparation. We also ordered two sides to share: the Truffle Fries and the Lobster Mac & Cheese. The fries were perfectly crisp and had a subtle truffle aroma without being overpowering. The Lobster Mac was rich and decadent, with generous chunks of lobster throughout -- a dish that somehow manages to feel comforting and indulgent all at once. Even though we were completely full, we couldn't resist dessert. We ended the meal with both the cheesecake and the crème brûlée. The cheesecake was smooth, velvety, and not too sweet -- just the way I like it. The crème brûlée had a beautifully crisp sugar top and a rich custard beneath that made it worth every bite. Sharing both gave us the best of both worlds. Our server, David L., was exceptional -- professional, friendly, and attentive without ever being intrusive. He made great recommendations and helped pace the meal perfectly. It was an extra special evening because my sister drove 2.5 hours just to meet me for dinner, and I'm so glad everything turned out so well. She ended up heading home with quite a bit of leftovers -- lucky her! As for parking, you have a couple of options: valet or self-park in the garage. Just a heads up -- if you choose self-parking, the garage levels available to the public don't start until the 4th or 5th floor, so give yourself a little extra time to park and get situated. Overall, this was easily one of my favorite meals of the year. Great food, top-notch service, and a wonderful evening all around. Highly recommend The Capital Grille for any special occasion or just a quality night out.

When I tell you this was the best steak from a steakhouse we've ever had...holy cow. Or at least it tasted like one! (Respectfully) We made a reservation with a special birthday request and Mark at the bar and staff went all out! I felt so special and celebrated from start to finish. Bear with me while I try to remember all of the incredible dishes we shared (because it was every single one). I treated myself to two beverages that night. It's been a minute since I've had something so easy to drink, gives me a slight buzz, and not the sugar rush. They soak pineapples in vodka weekly and it turns into the best martini you'll ever have. Next up was tuna tartare - fresh and a perfect shareable. The crackers were a perfect accompaniment with a little butter and fish, yum! Next up were the crab cakes and it was a healthy portion FULL of crab. I would definitely get it again and ask for an extra lemon hehe. The husbands got balsamic aged steak and y'all...UNREAL. One of those "best things I've ever had" meals. We're not big on steaks outside of the house because we're firm believes that food at home is unbeatable. But this steak...inspiring. We try to recreate it weekly until we have another special night out. Just wow, do not skip! Mark ended our meal with a small dessert sampler and again, made it such a remarkable and memorable night with friends. 12/10 recommend!

I stopped by The Capital Grille in Rosemont after a long day of a summit life. I guess I wasnt the only one with the same idea because it was a packed house. I opted to sit at the bar - or at least that was my only no wait time option. But then you meet some great people at the bar so it worked out. The food was good - pricier than I remembered but per diem for the win lol. I ordered the lobster bisque - it was delicious. Wasn't as much lobster as advertised but still a nice good broth and chunks. I did NOT like that there was NO sides for a $45 seared citrus glaze. Like no rice, no veggies - nothing. Just a side of salmon. Just be weary everything is a la carte. People were kind. My bartender Evelina was kind. It's a very intimate setting and the lights were low as it was night time. The flourless chocolate espresso cake was delightful. It was NOT dry. Very decadent.

This is pinnacle of steakhouse experience. So well managed from floor management, service and kitchen all got it right. My reservation was confirmed for party of 8 and I called prior to arrival, to have appetizers (Calamari, Burratta and Rockfellers) waiting while we had cocktails. The manager answered and placed order without hesitation. My guests were impressed with how the meal went and the specials included bone-in filet that was cooked to perfection. We all shared sides, which included Sprouts, Potato Au gratin and everything was spot on. Thanks again for great meal.

We went to this Capital Grille in Rosemont for dinner since it was across the street from the Rosemont Theatre where we were going to see Lee Brice. The restaurant gives me old-school steakhouse vibes with dimly lit dining rooms with table lights at every table. Thiseas my 1st visit dining here. The service is impeccable and both our server Mark and busser Espinosa were on top of everything. Mark was so engaging and made our experience that much better. I had Capital Grille's signature martini, the Doli. It's a vodka and fresh pineapple cocktail. My husband had a Goldrush, which is like a Bees Knees only with bourbon. My husband started with the wedge salad and I had the lobster bisque with a touch of sherry. The lobster bisque was one of the best I've ever had. It was topped with a large piece of lobster. Love the way it looked, it was a little difficult to cut up a big piece of lobster in the small bowl. For our entrées, my husband had the dry aged bone-in NY strip steak with a gorgonzola crust. I had the nightly special, a bone-in filet mignon. Both steaks were so tender and cooked to the perfect medium rare. We shared the au gratin potatoes which were divine. At the end of the meal Mark brought a complimentary dessert to our table - a flourless chocolate espresso cake and a cheesecake. The chocolate cake was rich and decadent, but the cheesecake was amazing. That crust with the light fluffy cheesecake with a brulé topping was perfection! A couple times while dining, the restaurant manager Michael stopped by our table to check on us. Love that special attention. The Capital Grille is pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion.

Service A+. Food B. Parking A+. Ambiance A. I've been wanting to try the capital grille and finally had the chance. The French onion soup and sides we tried were wonderful. My partners steak was done perfectly and flavorful. I had the scallop and lobster risotto. I prefer shrimp over scallops so I asked if they could be subbed. Yes, but there would be an up charge PER shrimp. Not taking the cost of the scallops off the dish. So I'd be paying for scallops and shrimp and only getting shrimp...needless to say I skipped the shrimp. The risotto was a bit salty but overall good. It was a nice night out and a treat. For me I've had just as good food for less cost so this will be a one and done for me. Valet parking was a plus since parking wasn't close to the main entrance of the restaurant.

I had a very unpleasant, downright absurd experiences with one of the managers Krissy Houghtlin Sales Manager We were celebrating a birthday with friends and family She comes over to our table unannounced uninvited in the middle of a meal Handing me a bill I asked her nicely that I would talk to her after a meal because I'm buying for everybody We were served very well by Gustavo Sanchez Who I requested. My wife paid for the table we were heading out with valet ticket in our hands She came outside and she grabbed us I thought she was apologizing to us for being rude, interrupting our meal But what I heard was absolutely absurd She started by saying that she will not let me touch her ever again And I said "what are you talking about? And she goes that I shoved her when she came over to our table So I was flabbergasted to say the least and I said you must be insane why would I touch anybody let alone push or shove? You are the manager that I talk to every time I come to this restaurant. You know who I am l've been coming to this restaurant for last 15 years Spending $5000 every year roughly And I purchased gift card from you for $5000 last year as well And I said I'm gonna go see if you guys have a video camera in your Restaurant And she says no, and "Gustavo asked her to come to our table with the Bill because I requested" I said "You are lying again Let's go ask Gustavo." And she quickly went into the coat closet and close the door behind her hiding I went to the back thanking Gustavo Sanchez one more time and I asked him "if I ever asked you to bring me a bill in the middle of a meal" And he said absolutely no After she said, I shoved her at the bar area I started recording a video Because this is becoming a legal matter She's conjuring something up, which didn't happen insinuating that I am violent person who physically assaulted lady who works at this establishment she's a mentally unstable and belligerent. I've visited this Capital Grille location multiple times, and I've never been disappointed :-) My most recent visit was for dinner. I started my meal off with a wedge salad - it was really good, with the smoke bacon being a truly delicious touch. Next, I had a filet mignon. It was wonderfully seasoned, tender, and cooked exactly as I had requested (medium-rare). For sides, my friend and I chose and split the asparagus (crisp with a squeeze of lemon) and the mashed potatoes (creamy and delicious). For dessert, they had several great-sounding options to choose from, but the minute I saw their cheesecake, I knew that's what I wanted - it was SOOOO good! Service was attentive and unhurried - I've never had anything but wonderful experiences here. Highly recommended!

Capitol Grill, what more can you say, but good lord. Great food, outstanding atmosphere, outstanding and courteous staff. Even the event manager came to check on our table and at the end of our meal, we were served free desert. Thank you to all the staff for making our experience at The Capitol Grill unforgettable for such an epic occasion.

It had been a while since we went to Capital Grille in Rosemont, so we decided to try it again for our anniversary. The tuna tartare appetizer was outstanding! We split a steak and sides -- all great. Then they surprised us with dessert!

So the service was good and luckily we had a private room. We enjoy different steakhouses but this one stood out. The service was great. The only complaint I had was my daughters complained about a tiny beetle that ran on their napkins while we were enjoying dinner. Other than that everything was perfect! I highly recommend this place if you are in the Rosemont area!!! No question!! Very fun time

The service was surprisingly reasonable despite the amount of patrons inside, friendly and the waitress stopped by periodically to check on us. Menu is not as adventurous as I've seen at some French restaurants, a bit different from still mostly familiar -- which can be good to appeal to a wider set of diners. I tried several different items including the Touche Toast, Cinnamon Apple Pancakes, and Gaufres Au Poulet Frite. I found in each of these, the textures were alright and the flavors were not too different from what I would expect from other brunch restaurants. Portion sizes were alright, as the meal wasn't overly expensive. If I had ordered items with more French influence, this may have been a better gauge of the food here. With that said, the uniqueness of the offerings here make me interested in a return visit. Overall, neat spot if you're looking for French style cuisine at reasonable prices.
