Took my husband here for his birthday. We've been enjoying Morton's for the last 22 years together. Tonight was such an amazing experience, honestly every time is, but I figured I had to share so others don't miss out. Our server Hank has been taking care of us for 15+ years. Tonight he went above and beyond to make our dinner memorable. His attention to detail and menu suggestions never miss! He let me in on a secret to ordering our 12oz filets medium well, ask for easy char! The steaks were so tender and juicy! Hank also suggested we should try the charred broccolini, and we could not have been happier that we did. Such a tasty wonderful sauce (ask for extra!). From the salad to the sides, everything exceeded our expectations. When the meal ended, Hank came by with a camera and snapped a picture of us, only to return to the table with a framed keepsake photo wishing my husband a Happy Birthday. He then surprised us with a complimentary dessert, key lime pie, which was so delicious! It's experiences like this that keep us coming back for over 2 decades. read more

According to the site (and the posted Morton's menu) the restaurant was scheduled to participate Jan 23 - Feb 8...so we made a reservation to celebrate my husband's birthday tonight. I called to confirm the reservation and was told that Rosemont was not participating until March and that they would not honor the deal if we came in tonight. I have dined before at Morton Steakhouse, but this location particular was my first time. Service was great, but wasn't big on the food here . The Greek salad left me slightly disappointed. I swapped it out for the wedge . The steak however, waygu was delicious and cooked to perfection, medium rare! Highly recommend adding truffle butter! Thank me later. Shout out to Felipe for great service! He was super attentive and kind! The decor, the hospitality, it was a very nostalgic, reminded me of an old school Chicago steakhouse...which is probably the point. We started with cocktails (dirty martini and an old fashion) huge onion loaf, and JUMBO shrimp cocktail. Cocktails were great, that loaf was amazing and the shrimp was fresh and meaty! Entrees I had the pork chop, butterflied, he had the ribeye I believe and we shared sour cream mashed potatoes and broccolini. I wasn't a fan of the chutney/sauce that was with the pork chop, it was very sweet. The chop itself was juicy, tender, and seasoned well, I really enjoyed it! The steak was tasty as well. The sides, taters were good!! Broccolini was meh, the sauce had some asian flavors, a lot of sesame oil and it clashed with the other side and entrees. The veg was cooked well but the sauce was not it. I did order the lavender cosmo after my dirty and that was insanely sweet, the lavender syrup tasted like fruity pebbles. I was able to swap it with a nice glass of Sauv Blanc, which pair nicely with the chop! Free parking onsite, not sure if there is valet. Anna- genuine and kind. Gave honest recommendations. Was fun to chat with and very welcoming. Talk about hospitable. Thank you for recommending a tequila, even though it was not Don Fulano :) the oak finish was worth it. Jose- great server assistant. Efficient, quick, met and exceeded needs before I even asked. For example, filled waters 3 times... Yes I drink lots of water. Brought boxes, cleared plates in seconds. Smiled, and within moments he cleared half of the dining room. Clean and organized! Well done Brett- great manager. I absolutely love the idea of having a manager deliver the food, table touch within two minutes. This eliminates any server/manager discrepancy if any food issues arise. Upon leaving, Brett also assisted guests at the bar! Awesome! Great teamwork. Shows dedication, and genuine care. Morton's Steakhouse never misses the mark. The Rosemont location was a haven after a lot of traveling. I found the atmosphere both warm and elegant right from the moment I walked in. Located among the airport hotels, coming here for dinner is always a pleasure. Service was amazing. Food was even more amazing. I highly suggest eating at the bar if they don't have any availability as it offers convenience and a lively vibe. The bar lets you order off the regular menu when you are on a time crunch. When traveling, I normally don't order steak but was invited to a hosted dinner where of course, known for steak. Don't get me wrong, I love a good steak but prefer one made at home.. First time to a Morton's or if I have been to one it would have been ions ago. Our table ordered side dishes of au gratin potatoes and lobster mac and cheese to name a few. My dry aged 14 oz ribeye was cooked perfectly. We shared the key lime pie and cheesecake of which the key lime was lighter than the dense cheesecake. Morton's is a steakhouse for businesspeople. Located within walking distance convention center and hotels, this is one of a handful of restaurants everyone goes to for "work dinners." I went and dined here while on a work trip and was surprised with how PACKED the restaurant was, especially because our reservations were at 8pm. The ambiance is that of a "typical steak house.... dimly lit and classicly decorated. (They did have a cool wall with old-timey photos of past diners.) In regards to how busy this place was, I was impressed with the service. I could tell our server was overwhelmed but he did his best to accommodate. I could tell everyone was working to turn over tables while being attentive to all guests. Food came out very quickly after ordering and that was both good and bad. It was good because myself and my colleagues were all starving after a day full of networking. It was bad because I could tell it impacted the quality of the food. I ordered a fillet mignon, medium rare. The steak came out more rare, but luckily I don't mine my steak rare. I was very happy with the Groton potatoes, and so was the rest of the table. But the crowd favorite was the free bread we got at the beginning of our meal! . The bread was warmed and the butter was whipped. Yum yum! So I have been to this location twice and the one thing that stands out was the service. Servers were both very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Now unfortunately for the rest. The first time we were here the place was almost empty but we were sat right by the bathrooms which was not ideal but the food was still good and so we came back with more people. Second time better table but food was a miss. Ordered the special (filet w/ crabcake) and first overcooked then after literally everyone else was done with their food my second undercooked steak arrived. They wanted to take it back but I wouldn't let them since I was trying to eat with my friends. I also didn't get to enjoy the shared sides with my meal so really didn't get to enjoy my expensive dinner or experience. Will I come back maybe if someone really wants to go but it will not be my choice. We had an extraordinary Tomahawk Feast last night at @mortonssteak in Rosemont. It was such an awesome date night dinner! We were wined, dined, and treated like royalty! Here's what we had for our Feast for two: We both started with Grand Marnier on the rocks Morton's Iceberg Wedge Salad (it's a Clarice and so delicious!) 36 oz Tomahawk Ribeye (sliced with roasted shallots) with Cognac Au Poivre sauce and Black Truffle Butter (cooked to perfection and mouth watering) Brussel Sprouts and Smoked Gouda Au Gratin Potatoes (both were delightful and flavorful) We finished with Bananas Foster Cheesecake and Morton's Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake (my hubby loved the Banana Cheesecake, and I absolutely devoured the Chocolate Cake!) We loved everything about our meal from start to finish, and our waitress Suzanne was the best (ask to sit at one of her tables). Went to Morton's Rosomont for restaurant week because the menu looked appealing. The location isn't the best, the restaurant is located on the lower level of an office building in rosemont. There is a parking lot and complementary valet as well so parking. Is easy peasy. The atmosphere is more family oriented. It's a bit on the louder side and you'll see a more older crowd. This is more of traditional steakhouse, maybe it feels a little outdated. No modern, sleek decor like some other steakhouses in the city. We each had drinks that we enjoyed. I especially liked the state street manhattan. I was a little confused because the menu said "NY Strip Steak" on the manhattan ingredients, I thought it was a type but nope sure enough it came with a little piece of steak on a toothpick in the drink. It's a fun gimmick, steak was actually good and the drink was amazing. We were given a nice warm loaf of sweet onion bread we both enjoyed. For appetizer we had the Wagu Meatball and the Lobster Bisque. Both were really nice, I think the meatball isn't my cup of tea however. The lobster bisque was great, had a nice chunk of lobster inside and I really enjoyed it. The bread paired nicely with the bisque. For the main course we had the 8oz filet mignon, some fries and mashed potatoes. The filets came perfectly cooked. One was medium and one medium rare, I would be sad if a steakhouse would screw the cook up but it happens sometimes, not here. The steaks were amazing. The sides were a bit lackluster. The mashed potatoes were creamy but I would like a little more. The fries were just regular fries with salt and they came very crispy, a little too crispy for my liking. We didn't like the sides much. For desert we had the Morton's legendary chocolate cake and a soufflé. Both were really good. The chocolate cake came warm and oozing with chocolate once you penetrate the moist but firm outer layer. Service was good as well, our waitress checked on us often. Although she did appeared to have our orders switched as the items were dropped off incorrectly a number of times she made up for it by giving use that delicious onion bread to go. read more

We had the worst experience ever. It first begun with us waiting for over 20 minutes for our waiter Felipe to approach our table to take our order for drinks. Once half of our table drink orders arrived at the table, I noticed something in my drink and brought it to our waiters' attention. He looked at it and said, "I have no idea what this is, and we don't have any flies here." He walked away and left my drink on the table for me to still drink it, and I literately had to ask him to replace it with another one and he seemed annoyed because we asked for another drink. Our food arrived and it wasn't hot at all. We did not complain because we were already unhappy with our service. Tonight I took my guy out to celebrate his birthday which happens to be on Christmas. It was my very first time going to a restaurant on Christmas day and visiting this location. My guy prefers a booth over a table and we were not going to be accommodated however, the manager, Mike stepped in unprovoked and accommodated us and also ensured the rest of our evening was one to remember. Saturday my wife and I went to Morton's Steakhouse in Rosemont for dinner. This is kind of an anomaly for us because we rarely eat steak & never eat at a steakhouses but decided to give it the old college try. I bought a $100 card for $80 @ Costco. (This didn't cover the cost of the meal) My wife ordered the signature cut prime & I ordered the bone in ribeye. I liked my wife's steak better). You know what they say the steak is always greener on the other side lol ). The steaks were very good but as expected quite pricy. They were very good but quite honestly I can cook a better steak at home for a fraction of the price. (maybe that's why we never really eat at a steakhouse). In addition we had one side of Au gratin potatoes. This Morton's is located in Rosemont adjacent or part of the Hilton Hotel. Very nice ambiance for date night & excellent service. He was served a NY Steak pink, when he had to have it well done they took it back and brought it out as literal charcoal. Our server apologized, but nothing was done. She said she asked 3 managers and there was nothing she could do. Very disappointed, paid the bill and left but how dare a chef, manager and restaurant serve someone a $65 steak like this. My colleague and I went here for dinner at around 5 PM Tuesday night. We didn't need a reservation and we're seated right away. We elected to be seated in the dining room downstairs as opposed to the bar on the main floor. The atmosphere was much nicer there. The server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made terrific suggestions for cocktails, appetizers, and the main course. The shrimp cocktail was amazing and consisted of high quality jumbo shrimp. I have been a passionate Morton's customer for years now. Countless online orders, dining in, and even catering for a large party. Never have I ever received worse service from a Morton's location then I have this one. To start it out, my order outs have always been cold, undercooked/overcooked and not good and when I order in it is TYPICALLY better but not always. I recently placed a online order for me and my girlfriends anniversary, as we wanted to watch a movie and eat, and when I went to go pick it up I look and see that instead of ASAP Today it updated to ASAP Tomorrow and completely ruined our date night plans. Whatever, I called and asked for a refund and got told on 02/28/25 that my refund has been processed. I contacted my bank today 03/05/25 and got told the transaction was never reversed. I called again and spoke to who claimed to be the assistant manager, who said they would call me back, fast forward two days no call back. No compensation, nothing. I will not return to this Morton's location and take my habit of $5,000-$10,000 yearly at your chain to a different Morton's or even a whole different company in general. If you are looking for romantic, stress free dinner, do not dine here. read more

Last night after a long hiatus we stopped into Mortons In Rosemont! I have eaten at the Original on State street so I wasn't sure what to expect. I believe we showed up a few minutes before they opened for dinner.... Our mistake after shopping at the Fashion Outlets nearby. We realized that we were the 1st there and felt bad! However we were immediately greeted and welcomed in! We were seated and waited on by Suzanne whom was obviously a pro at her job! We did their Porter Steak Dinner that's literally enough for 2 huge guys, and we had the most amazing experience! I eat at many fine restaurants but this was a wonderful time and fabulous meal. Came here on Friday evening. Had reservations for 6pm. We were seated right on time. The place was not too busy when we were seated but started getting busier by 7pm. We had the restaurant week menu. My steak was kinda burnt on top, I'm not sure if that's how they usually cook it. The fries were good. The mousse was delicious. The place was very busy by the time we got our dessert. Maybe my husband and I felt like that because we were seated by the corner where the hall is to the bathrooms were and there was a pathway where everyone would walk by. A friend and I went to dinner last night out in the suburbs. We decided on Morton's The Steakhouse and could not have been happier with our choice. Upstairs we were greeted by a very nice woman who directed us downstairs to the dining room. She was very pleasant and helpful. Once downstairs, the Manager Eric was exceptionally gracious and welcoming. Our server, Alex continued the fantastic service for our entire meal. Customer service was on point! Once seated in a booth, we started with cocktails that were perfectly crafted. With dinner, we also ordered a bottle of wine and loved the suggestion by Alex. Our appetizers, salad, entrees and desserts were all delicious perfection. The sauces and sides were the perfect way to a make a great meal even better. The location is unique as it's in an office building. But once inside it is a classic steakhouse. Dark and sultry - the perfect backdrop for a fine meal. Complimentary valet is a wonderful perk as I live downtown where nothing is free. There are a lot of stairs but an elevator in the building is available but not easily found. Friday Power Hour! 5 stars for service, food, and ambiance! We had a great time! I planned on making a quick trip to Rosemont Outlet and knew I'd be hungry afterwards. I searched for happy hour within the perimeter on Yelp and landed on happy hour of "power hour" as they call it at Morton's. Bar seating upstairs- plenty of room with different table sizes of 2, 4s, round table, and at the bar. Although it was the 2 of us, we like a little room so sat at the table of 4. I studied the menu online, and was looking forward to having some tuna tacos. Yum! However, when I ordered it, the server said they no longer had it on menu. I told her how I've looked online and came just for that, and she said she'd ask the kitchen if they can make it. Few minutes later, woo hoo! Got the great news that they can serve us tuna tacos and I did a happy dance in my seat! Service was GREAT! Both bartenders Darsha (& didn't get the name of the other) were very attentive in a timely manner. Oysters- they had Blue Point (my fave). Got an order and ordered it again because they were just TOO good! Btw, the second time it was served with blue cheese as a condiment. Am I missing something? Is it good to eat raw oysters with blue cheese? I've never been served blue cheese with raw oysters so I stuck to my horseradish and cocktail sauce. Tuna Tacos- $8 too bad they took it off the menu! It was my favorite! Served on crunchy tortilla chips, they were just delicious! Short rib steak tacos- $8 ordered it because I thought they couldn't make tuna tacos, but these were surprisingly better than what I was going to order.
