Then I needed a good quality jigsaw, and got a used Makita for $40. Roughly these tools go for a quarter to a third of new, or about a week's worth of rental. Last time came when I noticed that the street sweeper was avoiding my house. Researching on line revealed that it was my responsibility to prune any limbs within 14 feet of the pavement. A new pole pruner with saw was $90. Back to Drew's. A serviceable pole pruner with saw blade was less than $30. And all I had to do was buy some spray lubricant to let the action work freely. Good quality industrial grade paver stones reasonably priced and in stock. Also picked up some bags of quick Crete to top the job.
