Located @ 174 W Ponce De Leon Ave Decatur, GA 30030 Health Score 81 = B on 3/10/2026 This Breakfast / Brunch Spot is located in the heart of downtown Decatur. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito with Turkey Sausage and The Complete Breakfast and added a Sweet Potato pancake. Overall the food was good. But I wish med I had more turkey sausage in my burrito. It mostly consisted of just eggs. A parking deck is located just around the corner but you also have Decatur Train Station about two blocks away if you don't drive. The service was great and our waiter explained the menu options and the substitutes we could make for an up charge. Basically, you can add or change any of the breakfast selections but keep in mind that it will be $2 to $4 more depending on your selection. The ambiance was steady and not too busy for Tuesday morning. It was the customer service for me. Much Appreciated.

This was actually my second time visiting, so I decided to try something different from the menu. On my first visit, I ordered the smoked salmon and poached eggs breakfast entrée. This time around, I went with the shrimp and grits. While the presentation wasn't the best, the dish was extremely flavorful. It truly hit all the taste notes that make a meal memorable. 10/10 -- would absolutely recommend!

Been wanting to go here for a little while now, I love the location in downtown Decatur however I was a little unimpressed. We sat at the bar in hopes of faster service... that was not the case. We received our food but trying to get someone's attention for silverware took quite a while. The drinks were just ok, although they have quite a few cocktails available. And the food was just okay... nothing super special. However, the restaurant itself is really pretty. Ambiance is chill, definitely a place where you can meet with a friend to catch up so that was nice.

Stopped in for brunch and got a few items. I got the Reuben with a substitute for turkey. It did not really look like turkey. It look more like corned beef, but it was good. The French toast was just OK. However, the corn beef hash was amazing. The service was great and the ambience is very laid-back. I will try a couple more dishes. The next time I go back overall had a good experience.

House made food with excellent flavor. My husband NEVER likes grits but these were a hit because they were so hearty and even had pieces of corn. Everyone was friendly and I love that they offer some outdoor seating for days when the weather is nice. Parking not the greatest but there's a garage right across the street. Overall, Highly recommend.

Service was outstanding, food was good as well. We went for brunch on Sunday and since we arrived closer to their time to closing, we were able to be seated immediately. Our server was friendly, prompt and provided a few suggestions. We ordered our breakfast and everything was cooked to perfection. Served hot and was fresh. Cobb salad with pork on side was refreshing and the perfect portion size. The breakfast platter was served with a pumpkin pancake, choice of meat and eggs cooked to your liking. No complaints. Parking is available at a reduced rate if you park in the correct parking lot.

Came in last Sunday for breakfast. Such a cute spot! We got there around 10am and easily got a seat. It started filling up around 11. Our waiter was nice and attentive. I got a sweet potato pancake with peanut butter and banana plus a side of eggs. The pancake was soooo good!! Definitely recommend!

Loved it hear ! Great breakfast spot for a business meeting or a meet up with friends or even solo! The sweet pot pancakes are really good

Top notch breakfast brunch spot! Can't go wrong with any of the dishes. Excellent food, excellent Bloody Mary, good service. One of the few places where you can get decent grits that actually taste great! One of the few places that sells whole hog sausage, also delicious. Today's meal was short ribs and grits. The corned beef hash is a favorite. Every dish I've eaten here has been very good and very well presented! I took off a star because it can get pricey, particularly with the small, unexpected upcharges.

Great breakfast spot right outside the city! Location and Parking Located in downtown Decatur, Folk art validates parking in the garage for 2 hours. Street parking is free on Sunday. Venue and Atmosphere The bright retro feel of Folk Art drew me in immediately! I opted for table seated and enjoyed my table being bathed in natural light while I perused the menu. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Food and Beverages I had the reuben and cobb salad. While the salad was refreshing and delicious (always order extra dressing), the reuben needed more cheese and sauce. Verdict I'll be back!

I've been here twice so far & the service was fast both times! I enjoy the ambiance of this spot, it reminds me of a neighborhood Diner! I enjoyed all of the food here but beware, the grits are sweet. If you don't enjoy sweet grits, I'd skip them.

I hadn't been here in a long time, so when a friend suggested to reunite here after not seeing each other for way too long, I was of course immediately in! Our brunch date began around 10:45am this morning (Saturday). I parked in the parking garage directly across from the restaurant (viewable from the window). Sadly, I found out that they don't validate! They do however offer discounted parking on a different garage, so be sure to park there instead. My friend walked in as I was parking and immediately got us a table. For a Saturday, this was especially exciting. I had worried about this since I couldn't find online where they took reservations for parties under 10 people, but I didn't need to! While they had other patrons dining already, they weren't completely slammed. I walked in the doors and entered a cute, casual restaurant with artsy flair. Our waitress was stylish and friendly. I ordered the three egg omelette with Gruyère, red peppers, green peppers, and mushrooms. The omelette was a little well-done for my taste, but still yummy. It came with a thick cup of grits that had corn in it, which gave it a nice sweet taste, as well as a choice of toast (I went with an English muffin for an up-charge), along with my request for the peach habanero jam that was calling my name. My friend got the gluten free French toast with hash browns and avocado. It's always nice to go somewhere where allergies are accommodated. I look forward to returning to try more dishes!

    GRIT FRITTERS.

My cousin and I decided to drop by Folk Art in Decatur after our first brunch spot didn't work out--and I'm glad we did! Even with no reservations on a Sunday late afternoon, we only waited about 15 minutes before grabbing seats at the bar. Not bad at all! We kicked things off with the Grit Fritters--deep-fried, cheesy goodness with just the right kick from the jalapeños, perfectly complemented by that sweet and spicy peach-habanero jam. For the main event, we both went for Eggs Benedict (because, why not?!). I had the Crab Cake Benedict with hashbrowns and a Sweet Potato Waffle on the side, while my cousin got the Short Rib Benedict loaded with peppers, sautéed spinach, and tomatoes. Both Bennies were absolute winners--flavorful, well-balanced, and perfectly executed! The hashbrowns were crispy perfection, but the sweet potato waffle fell a little short--thin, slightly overcooked, and not the Belgian-style thickness I expected. The flavor was there, though, so I'd be willing to give it another shot. Heads up on parking: It can be a bit of a challenge--only paid parking garages or paid street parking, which fills up fast on a busy brunch day. Overall: Great service, cozy ambiance, and solid brunch options in Decatur! I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

In true fashion, of course I got a glass of Guinness. It was perfect! Our server was super friendly and very attentive. She even provided some suggestions based on what the others were looking for. Her name was Olivia! Brick Store also has a full food menu too, but we just came for drinks. After our drinks arrived, it took more than 45 minutes for the food to come out. The food itself was delicious. We had the half chicken and the trout. The ingredient quality is high, you can really taste it. However, the wait time was a bit too long, especially considering how empty the restaurant was. Aside from the long wait, everything else was good. I wonder if the delay was because we came shortly after they opened for lunch, but if they're open, the kitchen should be ready. Overall, the food is quite good, though the entree menu is somewhat limited, if excluding the pasta. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth trying. Personally, I'm not sure if I would come back. I'd rather not experience that long wait again, but maybe it was just an off day when I visited.

The chili was fantastic, and I heard good things about the chicken, but the poutine was a pass. The cafe is reasonably large, with two dining areas inside plus a bar and an outdoor patio. We had been in this part of Decatur many times and I never heard of it. We took the quick 5 minute ride over and I realized we had passed it many times. I think it had a different name last I noticed. As we approached I noticed the nice sized parking lot. A quick estimate, it could hold about 40 - 50 cars. I quickly found an open spot and walked over to the entrance. We entered and I could see the host walking toward us. He greeted us warmly, we let him know we were a party of 2 and preferred to sit outside. He informed us we could head out there and pick our own seat. We walked through the dark interior and headed outside using the side door. We found a table at the end of the patio near the front of the restaurant. There was plenty of outside seating on their patio and many of the tables were covered or had an umbrella. It was a little cooler than I expected so I ran back over to the car to pick up my jacket. I returned to the table and our friendly server came by and asked if we were ready to order. We were happy to see they had an extensive beer menu and I chose the Hi-Pitch Mosaic IPA from Hi-Wire brewing and Wifey ordered the Harp Lager. For food, we kept it simple and decided to share the Pork Nachos appetizer. Our waters came out next, and then the beers came out soon after. As we were hanging around and enjoying the patio I noticed the place was very dog friendly. The Pork Nachos arrived and were excellent. It was not a huge portion, but the perfect size for what we were looking for. The chips were crispy and the pulled pork was seasoned well. All the ingredients worked well together. We would definitely recommend the nachos if you visit Wheelhouse. Overall, this was a very good experience during our 1st visit here and we will definitely return when in the area.

Our waitress was pleasant but didn't offer any suggestions -- the valet attendant was nicer and actually did more than the waitress. We started with the $7 truffle french fries (happy hour portion, 4-7pm). They were enough for both of us. Crispy on the outside and soft in the center, but there was only a light dusting of cheese on the top layer of fries. It would be better if it were sprinkled throughout the entire pile. The grilled filet mignon ($52) was not good. It looked like ground hamburger shaped into an oval and had hardly any flavor at all. The lobster ravioli ($42) was just OK and was surrounded by a thin sauce. The flourless chocolate cake ($11) was delicious, and the espresso martini was also good. So the mains weren't great, but the dessert and drinks were. There's plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. The bathroom was clean. We visited Voss Lounge on Wednesday, April 1, excited for happy hour after seeing their Instagram flyer advertising $5 drinks, small apps, and hookah. Well...that's not exactly what we got. Once we arrived, we were told those $5 specials were actually for Tuesdays--not Wednesdays--and that detail was not clear on Instagram. I was told it was listed on their website, but let's be real...this is 2026--people are checking IG and TikTok, not websites. If you're promoting on social media, it needs to be accurate. We got there around 4:15 PM (happy hour starts at 4), and the place was empty--music wasn't even on yet. My party of four was seated right away, and we ordered drinks, food, and hookah. The lounge itself was beautiful--decked out in red and black with a really nice vibe. I had lemon drops and wings--both were actually really good. No complaints on the food or drink at all. But just know, the wings were not $5 since that special didn't apply that day. Now...the hookah experience? A complete mess. The hookah wasn't $5 either--it was $25 if I recall correctly. The hookah attendant recommended a flavor that was honestly not good at all. When we told her we didn't like it and asked to switch flavors (which we were willing to pay for), she tried to make us purchase a refill instead of simply fixing the issue. We asked to speak to a manager. She went to the back and spoke with someone who I later found out was the owner--but he never came out to address us. That alone didn't sit right with me. Instead, she came back, grabbed the hookah, and walked off. No explanation, no replacement--nothing. It felt like, "We won't charge you, but you're also not getting another one." That whole situation completely turned us off. Now I will give credit where it's due--our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. Friendly, attentive, and she did her best to take care of us. But overall, between the misleading Instagram promotion, the poor hookah experience, and the lack of management presence...this just wasn't it for me. Giving Voss 2/5 for good food, a beautiful space, and a great waitress Everything else? Needs work. Unfortunately, I won't be back!
