    Chicken and waffles

Nice little breakfast/lunch spot. I thought it a bit pricey, and we ended up having to pay to park, so that added to the expense. Hubby had French toast and I had chicken and waffles with a peach compote. Good coffee and good food, basic, nothing spectacular but you won't be disappointed either. Nice staff, friendly and efficient.

We went on a weekday morning, early, so there was absolutely no wait. Our waiter was quick and attentive, and our food came out quickly. The quality of the food was impressive and fresh. The grits had bit of fresh corn, which I loved, and all of the food was fresh and well-made. We were walking, but I did not see a ton of close parking. However, the resturaunt is funky and comfortable inside.

Located @ 174 W Ponce De Leon Ave Decatur, GA 30030 Health Score 81 = B on 3/10/2026 This Breakfast / Brunch Spot is located in the heart of downtown Decatur. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito with Turkey Sausage and The Complete Breakfast and added a Sweet Potato pancake. Overall the food was good. But I wish med I had more turkey sausage in my burrito. It mostly consisted of just eggs. A parking deck is located just around the corner but you also have Decatur Train Station about two blocks away if you don't drive. The service was great and our waiter explained the menu options and the substitutes we could make for an up charge. Basically, you can add or change any of the breakfast selections but keep in mind that it will be $2 to $4 more depending on your selection. The ambiance was steady and not too busy for Tuesday morning. It was the customer service for me. Much Appreciated.

I really loved this little place in Decatur. It felt like walking into a local diner that was family owned, but more upscale. Our waiter was really nice and made some great recommendations. I ended up getting their pork chop sandwich which I wouldn't have ever gotten without their recommendation and it was fantastic. My guest also loved her lunch but I was too busy elbows deep in mine to remember what she got. Or take a photo. Just remember to take your statin before you come

This was actually my second time visiting, so I decided to try something different from the menu. On my first visit, I ordered the smoked salmon and poached eggs breakfast entrée. This time around, I went with the shrimp and grits. While the presentation wasn't the best, the dish was extremely flavorful. It truly hit all the taste notes that make a meal memorable. 10/10 -- would absolutely recommend!

House made food with excellent flavor. My husband NEVER likes grits but these were a hit because they were so hearty and even had pieces of corn. Everyone was friendly and I love that they offer some outdoor seating for days when the weather is nice. Parking not the greatest but there's a garage right across the street. Overall, Highly recommend.

    Chicken Pot Pie and tea

THE BEST CHICKEN POT PIE OF ALL TIME!! i had a great experience at FolkArt. the ambiance is very casual but has a cool feeling to it. the service could be a little better but it wasn't bad. we had everything we needed. the chicken and waffle was good as well. the only thing i would change was that the chicken was slightly dry. not terribly dry but it could be more moist. the drinks were $4 for a tea and a pineapple juice which is not exorbitant (at least for in the city). over all i would say this is a must try!!

Been wanting to go here for a little while now, I love the location in downtown Decatur however I was a little unimpressed. We sat at the bar in hopes of faster service... that was not the case. We received our food but trying to get someone's attention for silverware took quite a while. The drinks were just ok, although they have quite a few cocktails available. And the food was just okay... nothing super special. However, the restaurant itself is really pretty. Ambiance is chill, definitely a place where you can meet with a friend to catch up so that was nice.

Stopped in for brunch and got a few items. I got the Reuben with a substitute for turkey. It did not really look like turkey. It look more like corned beef, but it was good. The French toast was just OK. However, the corn beef hash was amazing. The service was great and the ambience is very laid-back. I will try a couple more dishes. The next time I go back overall had a good experience.

Service was outstanding, food was good as well. We went for brunch on Sunday and since we arrived closer to their time to closing, we were able to be seated immediately. Our server was friendly, prompt and provided a few suggestions. We ordered our breakfast and everything was cooked to perfection. Served hot and was fresh. Cobb salad with pork on side was refreshing and the perfect portion size. The breakfast platter was served with a pumpkin pancake, choice of meat and eggs cooked to your liking. No complaints. Parking is available at a reduced rate if you park in the correct parking lot.

Came in last Sunday for breakfast. Such a cute spot! We got there around 10am and easily got a seat. It started filling up around 11. Our waiter was nice and attentive. I got a sweet potato pancake with peanut butter and banana plus a side of eggs. The pancake was soooo good!! Definitely recommend!

OMG what a nice surprise this place. The food is amazing! Our waiter was great, loved that he made suggestions for my side.

Top notch breakfast brunch spot! Can't go wrong with any of the dishes. Excellent food, excellent Bloody Mary, good service. One of the few places where you can get decent grits that actually taste great! One of the few places that sells whole hog sausage, also delicious. Today's meal was short ribs and grits. The corned beef hash is a favorite. Every dish I've eaten here has been very good and very well presented! I took off a star because it can get pricey, particularly with the small, unexpected upcharges.

Food which is definitely elevated in both taste and variety from traditional pub food. We arrived at opening on Saturday and were glad we did because the place quickly filled up. We shared a flight of truly special beers (Brick Store has a casque mark certification). It was hard to choose a favorite. There was a 2016 La Trappe Quadrupel- strong and dark but smooth. Next was a 2018 barrel aged barleywine, then a 2021 mixed culture saison- sour and tart but flavorful, last was a 2020 raspberry lambic : acidic and sour but a wonderful sweet taste. It was fermented with wild yeast. The inside has a very quintessential old pub vibe. For lunch we ordered sage pierogis as an appetizer and the arugula salad with a balsamic vinaigrette and a scoop of flavorful chicken salad. Both were yummy. The only drawback was that our server seemed aloof and somewhat distant, which put a slight damper on an otherwise lovely experience.

We usually have to circle around to find a spot, and walk to the restaurant. We came by for lunch on a Sunday. I like both the exterior and the interior design of the restaurant. The server was friendly and professional. We ordered drinks and two entrées. There was only one other table besides us, so just two tables total in the restaurant. After our drinks arrived, it took more than 45 minutes for the food to come out. The food itself was delicious. We had the half chicken and the trout. The ingredient quality is high, you can really taste it. However, the wait time was a bit too long, especially considering how empty the restaurant was. Aside from the long wait, everything else was good. I wonder if the delay was because we came shortly after they opened for lunch, but if they're open, the kitchen should be ready. Overall, the food is quite good, though the entree menu is somewhat limited, if excluding the pasta. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth trying. Personally, I'm not sure if I would come back. I'd rather not experience that long wait again, but maybe it was just an off day when I visited.

She is the true definition of service!! We started with cocktails and appetizers along with a bread basket. Don't skip the house old fashioned if you like bourbon. I even tried a mocktail and that was also good. Our first try with black bread. It was dense but tasty. The pimento fritters were crispy outside, creamy inside and complemented by the tomatillo jam. Calamari was perfectly done. Nice and crispy. The Caesar salad was freshly made with homemade croutons. I could go on about all the entrees but I'll leave it at this. Perfection. The valet attendant was extremely nice! He asked if we had eaten there before, told us about the specials, and made several recommendations. Our waitress was pleasant but didn't offer any suggestions -- the valet attendant was nicer and actually did more than the waitress. We started with the $7 truffle french fries (happy hour portion, 4-7pm). They were enough for both of us. Crispy on the outside and soft in the center, but there was only a light dusting of cheese on the top layer of fries. It would be better if it were sprinkled throughout the entire pile. The grilled filet mignon ($52) was not good. It looked like ground hamburger shaped into an oval and had hardly any flavor at all. The lobster ravioli ($42) was just OK and was surrounded by a thin sauce. The flourless chocolate cake ($11) was delicious, and the espresso martini was also good. So the mains weren't great, but the dessert and drinks were. There's plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. The bathroom was clean. We made reservations, but they didn't seem necessary on a Thursday evening. Highlights: Valet service, dessert, espresso martini, happy hour fries Could be better: Main dishes (filet and lobster ravioli)

We visited Voss Lounge on Wednesday, April 1, excited for happy hour after seeing their Instagram flyer advertising $5 drinks, small apps, and hookah. Well...that's not exactly what we got. Once we arrived, we were told those $5 specials were actually for Tuesdays--not Wednesdays--and that detail was not clear on Instagram. I was told it was listed on their website, but let's be real...this is 2026--people are checking IG and TikTok, not websites. If you're promoting on social media, it needs to be accurate. We got there around 4:15 PM (happy hour starts at 4), and the place was empty--music wasn't even on yet. My party of four was seated right away, and we ordered drinks, food, and hookah. The lounge itself was beautiful--decked out in red and black with a really nice vibe. I had lemon drops and wings--both were actually really good. No complaints on the food or drink at all. But just know, the wings were not $5 since that special didn't apply that day. Now...the hookah experience? A complete mess. The hookah wasn't $5 either--it was $25 if I recall correctly. The hookah attendant recommended a flavor that was honestly not good at all. When we told her we didn't like it and asked to switch flavors (which we were willing to pay for), she tried to make us purchase a refill instead of simply fixing the issue. We asked to speak to a manager. She went to the back and spoke with someone who I later found out was the owner--but he never came out to address us. That alone didn't sit right with me. Instead, she came back, grabbed the hookah, and walked off. No explanation, no replacement--nothing. It felt like, "We won't charge you, but you're also not getting another one." That whole situation completely turned us off. Now I will give credit where it's due--our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. Friendly, attentive, and she did her best to take care of us. But overall, between the misleading Instagram promotion, the poor hookah experience, and the lack of management presence...this just wasn't it for me. And the lemon pepper was just salt, I ended up taking lemon from my drink to squeeze it on the chicken. Also, our food did not come out at the same time. One person got her meal and finished before anyone else did. The waitress was cool and we thought she was going to get everything but at the end the billing was a disaster and took quite some time to get resolved. Lastly, parking was free and easy to find!
