Finally checking this place out! Been on the brewery hitlist for a hot min! They've been open 7yrs…read more& I've been tryna make it here for just over 3! Did not disappoint! The vibe is pure microbrewery and I'm so here for it! They are a hybrid brewery/taproom so they have 5-6 of their own beers and a variety of other local/NC breweries, which is great to keep options open while also showcasing in-house brewing! Jeff, the owner & brewer, was behind the bar when I came in and he is the epitome of the foundation of the craft brew scene. All of the in-house beers were fantastic! The quality and beer artistry that went into the beers was evident with each sip! Also, u gotta luv a place that commits to a theme! This one is board sports and from the name to the decor to the beer names, it is ubiquitous and I'm so here for it! The taproom is small yet weirdly spacious...w/bar, table, upstairs, and even patio seating! So come for the beers and stay for the flight boards (as each one is unique)! Beers had: -Vert Ramp Vanilla Cream Ale 5.3% The flavor notes on both the nose & body/finish on this one -Mile Marker 55 Mango Wit 5% Luved that the hint of very distinct mango was on the finish and the wheat/wit was on the front/middle palate! -Morning Sesh Coffee Stout 7% The coffee was prevalent but not overpowering...I could have this beer w/bfast! Made w/Dark Roast Sumatra -Get Barreled BBA Stout 10.1% This is perfection for the abv; no cloying sweetness, u get the toffee/vanilla behind the finish from the barrel-aging but the tannins & malt from the stout -in-barrel come through gorgeously giving u an unsweet BBA stout that holds up to the 10.1% -Shape Shack Passion Fruit Pear Sour 3.4% I usually don't do sours but this one drinks like a prickly pear (fruit) margarita, and I'm not mad about it!

Both were such great options for wanting something on the lighter side! It is a relaxed, laid back, and welcoming environment. I love how you can also bring your own food! Dodging a huge rainstorm we decided to sit at the bar and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We sampled a beer or two before deciding on a couple suds and the poutine appetizer while we decided on the main event. The place was fairly busy and they do have a decent outdoor patio also. It's a chill, hole in the wall, neighborhood watering hole type of place. We chatted with a few locals and my wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere. They had some great beers on tap including several from Foothills brewery and also full liquor bar to send a few rounds for any occasion. I settled on the Mad Haddock (I know who orders the fish at a burger place) and my lady had French onion burger. The deep fried asparagus was a playful side that was memorable. We both really enjoyed the choices. The fries could've been more crisp but overall they were passable. The haddock sandwich was incredible and that tartar sauce was incredible. The sandwich was one of those that you don't put down after a few bites. I enjoyed the food, friendly service and conversation with locals. They recommended a bottle shop connected to a laundromat not far away but we had to get back on the road. If you are in the Greensboro area Hops is worth a stop for happy hour, lunch or dinner.

We started with the Fried Goat Cheese Balls and the Fried Cauliflower, and both were excellent. The goat cheese balls were crispy on the outside and creamy inside, while the cauliflower was perfectly fried and packed with flavor. I ordered the Jalapeño Popper Burger special, and it was phenomenal. Juicy, cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of heat and all the flavors you'd expect from a great jalapeño popper. Easily one of the better specialty burgers I've had. They also have a great beer and wine selection, which made it easy to find the perfect pairing with our meal. If you're traveling and looking for something far better than the usual fast food off the interstate, Hops Burger Bar is absolutely worth the quick detour. Great food, great service, and a place we'll make a point to stop at again the next time we're passing through.

We have always wanted to try this place out seeing it many times off of the roadway and it looked interesting because it was a converted gas station. As we parked and approached campus gas we noted that there was plenty of outdoor seating, primarily wooden benches, tables and places to lounge around outside near the fire pit. There were people enjoying a drink and playing a lively game of cornhole. We strolled around then went inside to explore what the business had to offer in the way of drinks and maybe get something to eat. As it turned out, it was around 9 o'clock, and the lady that came out from the kitchen told me that the kitchen was closed for the evening so we weren't able to get any food at that time so we walked around inside and looked at the small things for sale and the decorations saw the nice high top bar and chairs and since things were winding down, we decided to leave instead of having something to drink. We didn't see a bartender or someone to serve us a drink anyway. So as it stands, we'll have to come back by some other time and check it out. I hear the food is interesting, casual and good and there are a lot of beer selections. I look forward to coming back another time and trying the food and drink.

It's an old-style gas station you'd expect to find on Route 66 that has been converted into what I'll call a local pub. It's got some simple comfort foods to go along with a wide variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Barstool table seating inside with picnic tables outside. They've got a cornhole set outside to complete the backyard picnic feel, and I've even seen customers seated with their dogs. Very cool. My wife and I were cheerfully greeted when we walked in. We shared an order of chicken tenders and tater tots. My wife got a bottled water, and I picked a NA beer from their selection. Finally, someplace that carries an assortment of NA beers! The food took a while to come out, but this isn't a fast-food joint and it was nice to slow down and have a conversation. The chicken tenders and tater outs were hot and tasted great. Definitely a generous portion of both and I'm glad we got just one order. In summary, the place is nothing fancy. It's just a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy some comfort foods and frosty beverages. It's definitely on our "will return" list.

The vibe is warm and laid-back, with cozy couches, plenty of tables for groups or families, and four TVs so you can catch whatever game you're into. The cooler is packed with even more options in cans and bottles, so there's always something new to discover including CBD and Seltzer options, and if beer's not your thing, they've got cocktails priced right in line with other local spots. Terminal Tap also keeps things lively with Music Bingo on Mondays (shoutout to DJ Ok and Isaac!), Trivia on Thursdays (Let's go Mike and Katherine), and a steady lineup of community events, charity fundraisers, and local meetups. Dogs are welcome on leash, adding to the neighborhood charm. While they don't serve food, you're welcome to bring your own -- I even made ramen with friends during a recent trivia night! Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or just looking for a friendly, place to unwind, Terminal Tap is absolutely worth checking out. Bonus they dress up the place seasonally too. Cheers!

The Deets: During a visit to Salisbury during The Cheerwine Festival, we stopped to one of the sample tables in front of Bottle & Can and after my friends enjoyed some of the samples we decided to step inside to see what this bottle shop/bar was all about. Honestly, The Cheerwine Festival can get way too "people-y" and we had wanted some downtime from the long lines and crowds. We found just that oasis in Bottle & Can. We sat down at the bar and were delivered great service and conversation during our visit there. They had a great selection of draft beers/beverages as well as some good selections in the coolers to enjoy also. I found an Untitled Art Chocolate Dark Brew NA beer in the cooler that hit the spot perfectly for me and I had a couple while enjoying the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere of this bottle shop. They even had some snacks available for purchase such as popcorn, Lance cracker snacks, etc. Great staff, great atmosphere, and great beverage selection made Bottle & Can Salisbury a great find...very enjoyable visit!
