Yum! The selection is great and I love that I can get cookies, ice cream, hot cocoa...it was all good (& I know because I got it all). I just wish the staff told me they had no whipped cream before I ordered as I would have skipped the hot cocoa because duh--that's just a vehicle for the whipped!

I've admittedly only had FoMu once, and at Boston Calling, so can't comment on the ambience or full menu. The service was great though, and the prices seemed reasonable at least comparatively to other vendors at the festival. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the ice cream whatsoever. The coconut taste here was too overpowering to really be able to focus on anything else. I think the mint may have been a particularly bad combination with it but am not sure. Would I come back? If I were super hungry and a friend wanted to go, maybe. Intentionally if I had other options? Likely not.

They have such creative flavors to enjoy for those who are seeking milk alternative desserts. The person at the counter was super nice and let me try as many flavors as needed to help me make my decision. The store is really big, good for a group hangout or maybe even a small event. Would come back to try other flavors. I got the PB cookie ice cream, it tastes the least like coconut milk (which I don't mind, but fyi) but I would have also gotten their seasonal chai flavor.

It is vegan ice cream that has absolutely no flavor sadly. The peanut butter and the blueberry shortbread had zero taste to it. Not worth another visit.

My black raspberry chunk ice cream was fantastic! I was in disbelief that it was it was vegan because it was sooooo creamy and delicious. Their little wooden spoons are such a nice touch as well. The employee scooping out ice cream was so nice as well. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Whoa! I cannot be any happier with our stop here. I've reached the peak of great choices and hospitality. We had some lovely people helping us out, able to find some good seats to bathe ourselves in great Boston ice cream. CHEERS to them !

Friendly service, great unique menu selection. Boston prices and portions. Excellent creamery. A definite must visit when in Boston.

Grass Hopper Pie * mint ice cream with chocolate cake (very fudgy and moist) Vanilla Bean * has stevia aftertaste Strawberry * slightly sour because real strawberries used George Howell Cold Brew * perfect amount of coffee (not too strong) * everything is vegan! This is a plant based icecream shop so most of the bases are coconut milk. It's very delicious, creamy, and healthy servings. This was the mini and it was a sweet treat after a meal down the street! You can bring your dogs or other common pets here!

Super cute vibe on the outside and inside. I love how eco friendly they are with the plant based cookies and ice cream. Was a bit expensive for a pint $13, but the quality you get is amazing. I got the birthday cake flavor which was also gluten free and had cake pieces that taste so real! I also really loved their cute leave a note/poem, take a note/poem. The cashier was friendly and patient which I always appreciate. Definantly worth the visit if you're in the area!

The custard is more of a cream but still good. Where I'm being picky: the cone could've been a little crispier and the toppings were pretty minimal. I couldn't taste or see any of the caramel sauce and the Oreo dust is so fine I think I inhaled more of it into my lungs than I actually ate. I wish it was actual mashed up pieces not fine dust. We will definitely be back though! I just won't get Oreo crumbs next time.

I've heard folks raving about this place for years, so finally decided to swing by and try it out…read more First off, must say I'm a bit of a skeptic regarding specialty ice cream shops: with one exception (a now-defunct "frozen custard" shop in Friendswood, Texas of all places, where you could see the super-dense/rich stuff glacially oozing out of the machine, and one milkshake's worth of it kept me full for the rest of the day!) I have yet to find any that are significantly better than ordinary Haagen Daz from a supermarket. In fact, most ice cream parlour ice creams aren't even as good, while costing orders of magnitude more than supermarket H-D! Toscanini's is close to equal to H-D in my book...and mainly for the fact that they offer some truly unusual and original flavors: we had the Mango Sticky Rice, Burnt Caramel, and Kulfi. My friend who enjoyed the first one the most, quickly tired of the second, and the third was my favorite by far, mainly because I love cardamom and saffron so much. I was somewhat conflicted with the Burnt Caramel...first taste was delightful, but halfway through the novelty faded away for the most part. We both appreciated that the ice cream was not hyper-sweet like JP Licks, though. HOWEVER, the extreme creaminess, density, and dry mouth-feel of H-D was just not there, as usual. I'd describe the texture of Toscanini's ice cream to be fairly ordinary, like a typical soft/smooth gelato texture. Not bad, but not anything I would really write home about. YMMV of course. Otherwise, service was good and the place is clean and pleasantly modern inside, with 3 nice new steel benches to sit at outside. The benches are curiously turned AWAY from the street, I suppose to foster more of a "communal" vibe and people-watching opportunities. I've walked by during peak hours and seen it quite full, so this place clearly is still quite popular. At $8.25 for 3 scoops (albeit fairly generous sized scoops) of oh, 8 out of 10 ice cream, I don't see myself ever becoming a regular here despite the undeniably interesting/unique flavors, unless I came mainly for the people-watching opps on a nice weather day.
