Great place for breakfast, coffee, and baked good. There are a ton of tables to either have a peaceful meal alone or to meet someone. There wasn't really any line at the register. The meal options are all on laminated pages instead of on a big board, but they did have a lot of good options. We started with regular drip coffee which was ready quickly and we could sweeten to our liking. We tried the house breakfast which was two eggs any style (got them fluffy and scrambled), crispy bacon, cheesy potato fritters with tomato jam (similar to ketchup), and sourdough bread (we asked for butter) it was all very filling and some nice spins on a traditional breakfast. The bakery selection is out of this world - from breakfast pastries to delicately crafted desserts. The cinnamon and pecan rose was just like the center of a cinnamon bun, which was fantastic. It was big enough for two people to indulge without overdoing it. There weren't a lot of outlets, so not ideal for long term laptop use, but the food came quickly, it wasn't too loud even with a ton of people coming in and out. Love Tatte!! Especially when your work gives you a free lunch - Tatte is one the places I choose almost always. I had ordered for pickup for a designated time, however finished my meetings sooner than expected and so arrived there around an hour early and asked if they could prepare the food at that time and they very kindly did. It was a 15-20 minute wait but that was totally fine! The space is cozy and quite crowded as always. Like that they added the extra doorway for winter to keep the inside warm. I ordered the chicken & vegetable soup - I think Tatte's version might be my favorite chicken soup - it's just right with the mix of tender chicken, veggies and has white beans- mild flavors- yummy!! I want to try and recreate it at home one day. The chicken pita sandwich is another favorite- really hearty with plenty of chicken and love the cucumbers and tomatoes and the sauce - perfect! I also ordered the salmon dish with the seasonal veggies- the crust was so crispy - it felt like the skin but didn't look like it very curious! While I worked for the company at the Fenway location from 2017-2018, it is fascinating seeing how much they've grown and expanded since then! I remember meeting the owner and being so fascinated by her and her story. I absolutely love the quality of Tatte's food and have made sure to stop by to get some food whenever I visit Boston (as I now reside on Long Island, NY). My favorite was the croissant breakfast sandwich paired with the pear tart (such a great combination with the shortbread and pear). The inside is decorated with white subway black-splash, pops of black tiles and old style light fixtures. They have a very large display of baked and savory goods. I'm confident you can find something in there that you will love. They have breads, sandwiches, desserts and more. They staff are all friendly; they have excellent suggestions- so just ask. I ordered their house latte which has hints of honey and cardamom in it. It was so delicious I forgot to grab any photos of the food or drinks ‍. My husband had a hazelnut latte and said it was very good. He also tried the sun-dried tomato and feta scone. I think there's something for everyone which is why they are such a well loved establishment in Boston and beyond! Some of my friends even order from them online and have it shipped across the country - Tatte is just that good. I have always had really good service, even when the café is hustling and bustling during peak times. I love that Tatte fosters an environment where the workers are happy to be there. When it comes to seating, there's some indoor as well as outdoor seating. Some people study or read here, but most of the time it's people catching up with friends and enjoying a delicious meal. During busy times it's always full which can be hard to plan on dining in. However, seats normally open up over time. Seating is first come first serve but if you're eating in, you are given a number and your food will be given to you. I've never had a time where seating didn't work out even when it was super full. The perfect brunch spot in Fenway! Tl;Dr - a solid cafe with both great coffee and bakery/food items! Idk why it took me so long to try Tatte, but I'm so happy I have! Their coffee and other beverages are great! (Lemon Thyme Espresso Spritz is a much try!) I appreciate that they always have a vegan sandwich option, but so wish their baked goods did as well (almost everything has dairy and/or egg). They do have a robust gluten friendly menu though! Service is always top notch and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Inside is chill with a decent amount of close quarter seating. So this is a local Boston chain, I have been to two locations today. Both locations are beautiful, with a lot of beautiful people drinking, eating, reading. Feels like a trendy place. The bakery is absolutely jaw dropping, the selection is endless and they all looked amazing. We tried the Jerusalem bagel and cinnamon muffin. Both are delicious. We had two lattes and they are very well made. My only regret is our latte were served in paper cups. At the second location I specifically emphasized I wanted "for here" and I still got the paper cups. I was envious of all my neighbors with beautiful cups of coffee. I can't help to wonder if my skin is too dark to get served the ceramic cups. I am a bougie brat and I want my overpriced latte in ceramic cups. So I probably will not ever go there again. Super cute and spacious cafe for a quick bite to eat. This Tatte location is my go-to when I'm visiting Longwood. The service is always great, and I usually go for the chicken pita. It's very delicious, packed with chicken and fresh veggies, and I really enjoy the tzaziki sauce. It's a little bit messy, but delicious regardless.
