I really appreciated the care this team showed. They came to our house to put Copper to sleep and, as painful as it was, they tried to make the process as painless as possible. We didn't have to wait long at all for Copper's ashes. Along with that, they gave us a small clipping of his hair which nearly brought tears to my eyes. They gave his paw print, too. All in all, I appreciate that your team showed such respect and love for my family and our boy.

I couldn't of been happier with the entire process and service Austin Pet MC provided me during such a difficult time. They were extremely respectful, and I never in anyway felt rushed when they came to pick up my boy. The wooden box was beautiful, the paw print was perfect, and they gave me enough fur clippings to satisfy my heart. This is a business that you are glad exist after losing something that is so special. And now I mourn my precious baby, my Dire Wolf. I plan to hold onto his ashes until I die where we will be buried together. Forever in my heart and until we meet again

    Lovely cremation package.

Three years ago at age 11 my sweet kitty Inda was diagnosed with small-cell lymphoma. I spent over 4K to save her life and thousands since for follow up blood tests, meds and prescription food and we kicked cancer's butt! Sadly in the past month she started to not feel so great. A seizure a few weeks ago took us to the vet who tried some things based on blood work. Then a week and a half later her blood work was completely different and he suggested imaging if I wanted to figure out how to keep her comfortable as I was not going to put her through another major surgery. I took her on Monday back to the surgeon from three years ago and he diagnosed her with pancreatitis among other things...she was labeled "critical" and put on IV and eventually a feeding tube. She was a sick little girl and clearly hurting. By early Wednesday morning, she took her last breath in my bed while I was trying to feed her with the tube. It was very traumatic to experience, but I knew by morning I would just take her back to the hospital to go to work and come back to them telling me it was time, if she hadn't already passed without me there. I had already found APMC in a search when I thought she was going to leave me 2 weeks ago. I had two weeks to say goodbye. Several days after the seizure her personality came back despite how sick she was. I got to tell her how wonderful she was and how I never knew a cat that I had gotten to keep my dog company would touch my heart so deeply. She was my soul cat for sure. Funny, silly, bratty, cuddly, loving and just plain amazing. I took her to APMC on Wednesday. Olivia greeted me and put Inda in a basket with a soft blanket. I sat in a nice memorial room and talked to her while I looked at photos and videos of her. Olivia came in to check on me and eventually we needed to take care of the costs. I received a discount for bringing her there myself and it was quite a bit less than when I had done it through my vet with my dogs. I picked her up today and was so glad to see Olivia again. Inda came back to me in a beautiful little wooden box with her nameplate "Princess Inda", a paw print impression, clippings of her hair, a lovely card and brochures on pet loss. I cannot imagine a better experience. My two dogs were cremated through my vet, but something about taking her there myself and getting her back two days later knowing exactly where she would be kept and even seeing where she was to be cremated was so reassuring. I hope I won't have to return for many years (right now I am without pets for the first time in almost 23 years), but I would go back there for sure and recommend it to anyone who needs these services. Thank you Olivia for such personal service. Rest in peace, Princess Inda. 2004-2018

I still can't believe she's gone. I miss you, Lou.

I used this service last year when my sweet pug, Lula, passed away. When I first called in the evening, the answering service took my information and set up a pick up time for the following day. I wasn't impressed with the operators phones skills. She was cold and didn't even give me a ball park time as to when they would pick up my dogs body the next morning. I called back and asked to speak with someone else. I left a message and was promptly called back within the hour by I'm guessing the manager. She was much more sympathetic and understanding. I felt like she genuinely cared about what I was going through and answered all questions. The following morning (I think her name was Julie) arrived to pick up Lula. She was very considerate and treated the occasion as it deserved to be treated: with compassion and understanding. I received a call the following day that her ashes were ready. When I picked her up she came home with hair clippings and her paw prints. I wasn't "happy" with the service, because it wasn't a happy event, but I was satisfied with the service. I felt like everything was taken care of in a timely manner. Thank you Austin Pet Memorial.

The memorial we made, the paw print was made by APMC. The picture is an embroidery I made of a picture of Luna, and her favorite "baby"

Many vets in town use their service, and it was going to cost an extra $65 for picking up her body and returning her cremains so I took her out myself. The staff there is extremely kind. I got to spend extra time with her in a mourning room. I was offered getting a lock of her hair and a paw print if I wanted, but I declined. I was told that I would probably be able to pick her up the following week I received a call about two days later. Her crews were presented to me in a beautiful satin blue bag. The ground was still too hard, so she is sitting on my altar, and though it has rained and the ground is soft enough to dig, the time is not right to say my total goodbye yet. I highly recommend Fond Memories.

The receptionist reassured us they trusted this service and that my boy, whom I loved for 16 years, would have a private solo cremation which I very much demanded for. When I received his ashes and , I was deeply touched. Everything was done so elegantly and with great care. Nothing was missed -- they even kept his unique tail fur, something I forgot to ask for. I'm truly grateful for the compassion and respect they showed during one of the hardest moments of my life.

They let me know about the option to do an "attended cremation" aka wake/viewing at their crematory location in Houston, which I opted to do. They also got all of my keepsake orders correct, and they were all done with the utmost quality. This Austin location offers a Pet Loss Support Group once a month, and I am SO GLAD I went as it was super healing and helpful for me to work through my grief of losing a pet. Highly recommend this group to anyone in the Austin area going through the same thing.

Almost two weeks passed with no update so I reached out to Pet meadows to inquire about the status of our pet's remains on 8-14-2026. I was told that our pet was processed and ready to ship via Fed Ex, but the driver didn't pick up the shipment they were supposed to that day. I asked for my pet to be returned to Aves, because I rather not ship him through FedEx. The gentleman on the phone was very pleasant and said he updated everything and our pet would be returned to Aves on Monday 8-17-2026. He stated that AVES would give me a call and I would receive a text from Pet Meadow. I waited until late afternoon on Tuesday (8-18-2026) and still did not hear from AVES or Pet Meadow. I called Pet Meadow and left a voicemail inquiring on the status of my pet. I received a voicemail from Michael at Pet Meadow which left me confused and concerned. I'm currently under the impression that my pet was already cremated and should have been returned to AVES by now. This voicemail (transcription attached) stated that they were behind on processing remains due to their AC being out for the last couple of weeks and that they did final quality control yesterday (8-17-2026). This does not match what I was told on 8-14-2026. I was told that my pet would arrive 8-19-2026 to AVES. At this point I'm concerned that something happened to my pet's remains. That brings us to today Friday 8-21-2026. I still have no updates. I contacted Pet Meadow and was rudely addressed by a woman there for wanting answers. She blamed AVES and hung up on me. I called Pet Meadow back and asked that this issue be escalated. Thankfully my pet was returned late in the day 8-19-2026. AVES did not get a chance to call, but Pet Meadows did not text me as promised. Where this leaves me... with the lack of accountability and the stories that don't match up... is what I received back my pet's remains? An AC being out for weeks in a crematorium in Houston, Texas, how were my pets remains handled during that time? I am waiting to hear back from Pet Meadow for a legal contact for my attorney to reach out requesting all records related to the care and handling of my pet's remains. I also need them to prove the remains returned to me are indeed my pet.
