Food and Beer, As someone that has been in the business for 30 years, I love and appreciate your concept. That being said, I had not been in to see my favorite bartenders in about 2-3 weeks because I was busy with work. Tonight was my first time back, with new management that I didn't recognize. The ex-Taco Bell guy was awesome. We had great conversations about the business because I was at Flemings Steakhouse, Hyde Park and Selva Grill for the Past 12 years. The table behind me, was a couple and 3 kids, ordered that crazy big $28 sandwich. So I was like, wow he's going to eat that thing!? I started filming it with the dad to my left. He was all good till I joked about having a crouton from the daughters salad. The new manager with the facial hair then went at me? He said, "that guy says this". We have gone there every week for a long time but the night manager is not a manager he is rude and the host is even worse my husband and I waited for a table and gave them our name and they continued to seat people who came in after us he incredibly unorganized and I will add again rude it's sad they have good food just really bad management at night. Definitely was great when it first opened but the food and service has gone down hill. The food is inconsistent and when ordering takeout double check everything. Some of the servers are amazing but others don't even notice you are there. Same with the bar staff, sometimes the drinks are amazing and the next week they are horrible. I have never written a review before and dont know where to start. My boyfriend and I have been going here every monday and tuesday night for a year now. We first started going because of the $5.99 burger mondays and Taco Tuesday deals. Monday nights were perfect for football when it was in season to go and hang out. Our usual spot is the couch which is quite comfy (I've fallen asleep a time or 2). Kaitlyn was our waitress on tuesday and made us feel like at home. She took amazing care of us and was always super sweet. Raven is our waitress on mondays and shes the kindest, sweetest soul. We always mess around and make jokes about football (Go Buccs 32-9 ). She memorizes our order (Same with kaitlyn) so it makes things so much easier when we come in on our days. The managers are also super kind and the whole experience since day one has felt welcoming and homey (It would be even more homey if we bought the couch ). Its so sad for us to leave in March but this place will ALWAYS have a special place in our hearts and a big spot for our relationship. Thank you kaitlyn, Raven, and the managers for making this a routine for us and welcoming us 2 days a week for the past year (And 2 more months). I always bring out of state friends and family and always tell my customers to go. I will forever recommend this place for families, couples, and people who just want good service and amazing food (And good cheap date night dinners). I really wanted to love this place - it is constantly busy when we pass by and the vibes looked great so we finally decided to try it out on a Thursday night. We were seated almost immediately and then were clearly forgotten about. There was no beer list anywhere to be found and our waitress was MIA so we couldn't even ask. At this point we were hungry so we got our order in and about 20 minutes later our server finally returned with the drinks. Our food came out 20 more minutes later and we were not impressed in the slightest. The bowl I had gotten had no flavor and the burger my significant other had was pretty bland as well. For somewhere named "Food and Beer" I would have hoped one of those things were at least good - sadly that was not the case. The waitress did not check on how our food was once nor did she ask if we'd like anymore drinks, something we may have probably agreed to had she asked. After being finished with our food and drinks for almost 30 minutes we could not find our server anywhere to finish up and pay - this really finished our visit off with a sour taste. She finally arrived and did not say so much as a "thank you" or "bye" and we left. Surely disappointed at this point is an understatement, but I would have expected better. read more

Four of us had dinner here last night. Even tho they were busy, they seated us right away. The service was outstanding. Apps came out at same time as the meal, and manager immediately came over to apologize and comp our apps. Good idea but over priced and the beer selection for a place that has beer in the name missed the mark. 6.50 for a pint of a local brew is a tad high in my opinion as well as 3.95 for a regular beverage is just greedy. $3 bacon cheese burger special was a steal and very good but the fries didn't stay hot for long. Birria tacos were excuted well but no quality hot sauces available. Tabasco is LAME!!! The chicken Nuggets were bland and the hot sauce used was very strong with vinegar. Not someplace I'd go often because you lost me at the beer. Foods ok but I'd have to visit a few more times to test the menu completely but I'm not excited enough to spend the money for ok food and not so great beer selection. Not sure about other locations but we will NEVER go back to the Bradenton location . Although they were NOT busy, (10 people) we waited 45 minutes for 2 burgers and 2 fries. When we got our food the fries were cold so we sent them back and waited another 20 minutes for more. We had a $10 gift certificate but did not receive credit for it on our check. I didn't realize this until I got home and added up the bill. You don't get a paper receipt, only digital so it is hard to see what your are paying for. We were a party of 5 for dinner last night. Service was very slow to start but once we flagged a waitress down she was great. We ordered 2 apps and 5 entrees and the only issue was the 2 chicken marinara sandwiches were fried until dark brown and so dry they were hard to get your teeth through. There also was no and I mean no sauce and no cheese on our sandwiches. I have had this sandwich a few times before and we're always great so I knew what to expect and recommended it to everyone. We did not want to send them back because we didn't want to wait while everyone else ate. I was the only one who had eaten there before so I talked it up and ended up disappointed.
