    Oven browned chicken on wheat
    Nathan D.

What a great find. We were making a family trip out to Saint Mary Lake for a picnic while visiting the Glacier National Park and this was conveniently on the way. I'm glad we found this great local spot instead of going with a chain restaurant. Prices are low and they have a great selection with many options. Staff was very friendly and patient with our party of 9. We ordered all of our food and packed them in the cooler. 2 hours or so later once we set up for our picnic the subs were still pretty fresh. Even though they were dressed, none of the sandwiches got very soggy. I got the oven roasted chicken and it was really good, the vegetables were fresh and ripe, the bread held up well and was soft and easy to eat. A great value and quality sub.

Great cute little sandwich shop that closes at 2pm. Parking around the building. The line was out the door when we arrived, but it was worth the wait!! There was a sign on the door apologizing that they were short staffed, but all were very kind and we got our sandwiches. My boyfriend inhaled his before being able to snag a photo, overall we thought the bread was phenomenal, you can tell they care! We are from out of town and appreciate this small business!!

Visited Columbia falls for a week and had lunch here 3 times!! The best sandwiches ever with the best service!

12" Italian sub on wheat bread, pressed/toasted. You can customize veggies/toppings.

Laurie's Deli is the real deal! The bread is fresh, soft and fluffy. They slice some of the meat right in front of you when you order so you know it's fresh. We're not sure if that rang up our order wrong because we got two 12" Italian subs with chips, fountain drink and one cookie - total was $16. Unless they rang it up wrong, that was a steal! The staff was so friendly too. They didn't rush us and encouraged questions. I wish I had Laurie's Deli in my home state and town because I would frequent it often.

Ultimate BLT in a spinach wrap with all toppings in Glacier National Park (perfect to go food for the park)

This place is perfect for picking up food prior to going up to glacier national Park. We ate our food after a hike and it was perfect. My husband and I ate a chicken salad wrap in a tomato and basil wrap and ultimate BLT in a spinach wrap. The restaurant was clean and the staff were all wearing masks and provided hand sanitizer for Covid precautions. The set up is similar to Subway where are you essentially are able to request different items in your sandwich or wrap. The staff was very generous with the portions and even chopped up some of the vegetables that go into the wrap so that the food could be more evenly distributed. The food was very fairly priced and we both were full after both of our wraps. We paid less than $11 for both of our wraps. The staff were very nice and attentive. If you're driving through Columbia Falls and planning to spend the day in glacier national Park and need some food to pack, this is the place to go. It is very conveniently open at 8:30 AM. We would definitely go again!!

Food was good. The sandwich has a small portion of meat. If you like a good portion, I recommend getting a double portion.

Best in Montana, fresh baked breads daily. Very friendly staff. Locally owned, only the highest quality meats used.

We started with the appetizer special, a pear and feta salad, then split the bison short ribs and shared the lemon blueberry tart for dessert. I would happily go back for any one of those dishes. Our server was excellent. I believe his name was Eric, and he made the experience even better. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

We arrived shortly after six on a Monday evening, easily found parking and, while about half the tables were full, we were seated quickly. Our waiter was kind but seemed nervous, reading the specials from a note pad. We started with sourdough and an order of calamari (yes, I know there isn't fresh squid within a hundred miles, it's one of our "always order to see what's up" dishes). Bread came out quickly with olive oil, balsamic, and some minced garlic - quite nice. A few minutes later, calamari - lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and a bit bland. It felt like they'd perfectly executed their vision, but it could've used a bit more seasoning to my taste. No tarter or other sauce, but a half lemon and some pickled sweet peppers. I ordered the bison burger and my wife went with the walleye. My burger was medium rare, as ordered, but the bottom bun was soggy and everything was buried in the thinly sliced red onion. It was fine but sadly forgettable other than having to slurp slices of onion after each bite. My wife raved about her walleye though, basically describing it as elevated nostalgia. It took her back to days of fishing on the lake with her family as a girl, but perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We finished with an espresso crème brûlée, which took about 20 minute after our meal to arrive. Apparently the chef was newer and accidentally put pistachios on the brûlée, as we got the last espresso and the next batch was pistachio flavored. We didn't mind, but it had the thickest crust I've ever seen on a brûlée - probably an eighth inch thick. It took two solid whacks to break through and was so thick it felt more like a burnt caramel. The crème itself was lovely but, as someone who prepared hundreds of brûlées in an earlier job and has eaten many since, it was sadly overshadowed by far too much sugar on top. It was an overall pleasant experience but honestly I owe much of that to the company of my wife. If we go back, the only thing we'd reorder is the sourdough to start. My wife loved her fish but still said she'd try something else next time.
