The masseuse had no idea how to perform a massage. I spent 60 minutes mostly having my left shoulder rubbed. I asked multiple times to do the rest of my back and I began the appointment with stating I wanted the focus on my lower back. My massive left me 4 times during the massage. On the 4th occasion , he was gone for 5 minutes. His nails were long and scratched me. Absolutely disgusting we were a party of five, gave 20 dollars each just for the tip. The disgusting woman in there tried to hassle us for money. Seems like something I'm now seeing is common for the place they try to tell you that if you tip in cash it's better, but she'll just take the money and then say you didn't. The massage itself was obviously unprofessional as to be expected for the price, but they'll really hurt you. It's very loud in there and it's really cold too. The staff bickered for 10 minutes in front of us over who would massage us. They wanted to massage the white gentleman who came for a longer massage. The way it works here is the prices are good but they include a mandatory tip on top of the service. They figured Since the service that we were getting was cheaper than the gentleman's service, they'd receive less of a tip. The price difference was only ten dollars between mine and the gentleman. And I always tip well above what I should. Eventually the woman rushes to the gentleman to massage him seeing only dollar signs. The man also spoke very loudly on his cell phone the whole time. This place is a mess. Do not go here. In a nutshell: 1. You can't really tell how clean the place is, because of the blue lighting they use. However, I turned on my phone to see what the walls and floors looked like. They are certainly not up to par with similar places in the area. 2. This didn't happen on my visit there, but my husband visited previously, and he said that they demanded a certain tip. Ironically, my husband is a great tipper, and I'm sure he gave no less than 20 percent, so to be REQUIRED to pay a certain amount it crazy. Perhaps they should be reminded that a tip is not required anywhere!! It is based on the level of service. So, if your service isn't up to par, you are not entitled to anything, much less the standard 18-20%. 3. I get massages very often, and I recently turned my husband on to massages as a means of selfcare. When it was over and we both got in the car, it became apparent that it was by far the worst massage either of us had ever had. It felt VERY rushed, and I didn't pick up on any of the massage techniques I experience at other places. My husband said he was grimacing the last 30 mins and wanted to cut it short, and honestly, I wish he had. 4. The little 1-ply tissue paper mats they use are gross. It was allllll ripped up by the time the massage was over. And at one point during the massage, I asked for another one because I didn't want my bare face touching the hole area where your face goes. Instead of another one, I was given a paper towel (high quality, and possibly Bounty brand) to rest my face on. -__- 5. I understand that a lot of these Asian massage places don't have separate rooms like other places, but this place provides absolutely no level of privacy. When I got there, the curtain next to me was halfway open, and I saw the customer just laying there. And then when it was over, another customer had come, and I had to close the curtain again, because I could see EVERYTHING going on. All in all, this place is subpar, and not deserving of my money, so I do not recommend it, and I will not be returning. Everything about this place was a turn off. I came here for a massage 2x now. The first time the girl gave me a massage so bad it gave me mayor anxiety. I am a professional massage therapist i know when someone doesnt know what their doing. She massaged me forever under the towel and then went with full force with her elbow on my spine. I was bruised for days. It hurted when I breath thats how bad it was. It is your typical Chinese foot reflexology spot and you get exactly what you pay for. $30 for an hour of massaging (including a bit of work on my arms, head and neck while my feet soak) is a fantastic deal no matter how you look at it, and grumpy old Asian ladies never bother me (if you had grown up with my mom, you would know why) so their gruffness is like water off a duck's back. The gentleman who worked on my feet did a great job of keeping the strength level to my taste and they felt great once it was all said done. My husband got the full body and he said it was one of the better ones that he has ever gotten (and we go to a LOT of these places in Queens). I would say the main issue would just be the lightning and the fact that the full body tables are only separated by a curtain. The blue light in the room made my eyes kind of tired, and since there are no rooms for the full body work, you hear every grunt and moan. There was a guy getting a massage next to my husband and he sounded like a wounded cow. I visited this spa three times for one hour of reflexology and each session was very good. During my third visit, the service was good, the spa was clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. Unfortunately, things changed when it was time to pay. I paid the fee of $30 plus a 20% tip (15%-20% is a normal range), and I was told I had to pay a $10 tip. I told the attendant that I paid an appropriate tip just like I did during my first two visits, then he said what I was paying was ok. This place was AMAZING!!! My hour foot rub included my head, neck, ears, upper back, arms, hands, shins, calves, thighs and hips. I run and bartend, so my feet are always in pain. They always fit me in without an appointment. The foot massages are great!!! I just had a deep tissue full body - very pleased with the service. The place is clean and relaxing (don't be fooled by the strip-mall entrance: the back is soothing and dark). I've been to this place more than 10 times. I usually tip $10 for an hour foot massge and $10 for an hour back massage. Went there the other day and the guy giving me my foot massage was terrible. I had to keep telling him to go easy on my feet. I usually fall asleep but this guy had me on pins and needles throughout the massage. After the massage my big toe was in pain. I went to pay for the massage and I told the lady the guy was rough. I gave him a $5 tip. The lady at the desk chastised me for not tipping $10. Mind you, I'm a regular customer. Only when we asked her directly did we get the answer we needed to know- how long a wait? She bristled and said "1 hour, maybe more". No trying to fit us in, and we had called for a reservation but she speaks almost no English so couldn't even understand the very basics! She's a course, uneducated immigrant that you would think would be at least a tiny bit gracious for business. Too bad; we'll go elsewhere. I paid for 1hr foot massage and only got 50min they charged me 1hr plus $10+ tip mandatory. There were no signs stating that $10+ tip is mandatory. Wish I can do 0 stars. This place is very unorganized. After me and my boyfriend waited 45 min for a massage they take me and not my boyfriend and ask him to wait 15 min. They said he will be next.. instead they take 3 women that walk in with appointments after he was waiting for about 30 min. Again, He's left waiting. They should have just told us they couldn't serve us because they had appointments. We would have just went somewhere else instead, no big deal but they completely made us waist our time. The manager couldn't straighten things out so I cut my massage short and left. I called before going and they said to come in they weren't busy. This isn't the first time. This place is awful. We walked in around 7pm on a Saturday. I love reflexology and was excited to find a place nearby. When we walked in there were customers walking out from the massage room and were settling the bill. I saw the man hand money to a person I couldn't see because they were behind the door that separated us. When the couple left I stepped up to the counter and could see that the man at the counter was having an unspoken conversation with someone behind me, so I turned to see the woman behind the door angrily flashing a $5. She was pissed. The guy had stiffed her on a tip and she was shaken. The man at the counter asked us what we wanted. 1 hour foot massage for me, 1 hour body work for my friend. He began to lead us back to the room, but the girl who had just been stiffed was still angry and pacing the floor shaking her head no. Which is fine, clearly I don't want someone that's angry forced to work. They brought us back and asked us to wait 15 mins. Ok. After waiting 20+ mins, a familiar scene played out again. A male customer comes out and goes to pay, he claims he can't understand that there is a fee when paying with cc. We over hear and explain, it's cheaper to pay in cash because they'll pass on the cc charge. Then he starts to leave without tipping and they call him out. Fair. He tips $4. He's an ahole. The guy who did the massage was obviously pissed and complained while looking angrily out the window. The whole time we waited. We asked again, how long? 5 min. Came and gone. A group of 8 people walked right in. Now I understand if you have a reservation on the books. At this point I've waited for about 35 mins. If you knew you couldn't take us for an hour, why make me wait?! They make some calls, and tell us one can start and the other could go in 30 mins later. By then we walked. Instead Gregorio my "masseuse" straddled me on the table, completely pulled down my underwear, and intensely massaged my butt for about 45-50 minutes. I've come here a few times, liked it, and never had a problem. I've gotten both the foot and full body massages. Today, I came in for a $30, 30 minute chair massage. The massage was fine- the issue occurred when I went to pay. My masseuse was there at the register, and I handed him $4, not the best tip, but reasonable, as it wasn't the best chair massage I've ever gotten. So, I handed my $ to the woman at the cash register to pay, and she proceeds to tell me that my masseuse's hands were "very tired" because a chair massage is "hard". What? It took me a few minutes of awkward English translation to understand that she wanted me to tip him more! Despite me giving him another dollar- which I didn't feel he earned, if your hands hurt after a half hour massage, you shouldn't be a masseuse- after I paid, she told me "next time, you no come back no more." You don't have to tell me twice! Seriously, what is that? I have never felt so disrespected like that before! It was super rude, and I will be sure to let my friends know not to come here. read more

I visit this place all the time, at least twice a week. I love the foot massages, but after todays experience, I am very unpleased. One of the ladies were extremely rude and as a customer I felt offended. I asked kindly for a man to give me a foot massage, instead of receiving one from her. She said I had to wait an hour. I kindly said to her "it's ok, I'll come back later." She got really upset and yelled "go, go, go," while waving her hands in the direction of the door. That made me not want to ever come back to this place again.
