For the price you pay, I love this place! I know everyone likes different types of massages but I definitely do like a LOT of pressure. Whenever I tell my masseuse what preference I would like, they always listen and do a great job. I've experienced quite a few of them at least once and I can't say anything bad. That being said, nothing absolutely amazed me, nor did it displease me. We walked in at around 12:00 in the afternoon on a Wednesday (today), and there were no other customers. It was very quiet. The two masseuses that were working on us spoke very minimally to each other and when they did, it was in a very hushed whisper. Really really bad service tonight from a female massager. Didn't feel my muscle got any relief from this female massager. I still paid 20% tips, but she forced me to pay more tips. She yelled at me and used a lot curse words. Finally, she threw my change on the ground. How crazy she was! This is the only time I paid less than 35% tip when visiting them. I went to Foot Relief Refexology because my feet and shoulders were not feeling that great. My shoulders muscles were tense, and my feet were tired from doing an excessive amount of walking. It kind of creeped me out when I found that it was going to be a man giving me a massage, but I decided to go through with it since I wasn't feeling one hundred percent. As it turned out, the masseus did an okay job. The only exception was when he made me turn on my stomach on the reclining chair to massage my back. He dug his thumb tips into areas along the base of my scull, trapezoids, and along the inside of my shoulder blades so hard that I was about to scream. Being the tough guy that I am, I didn't let out a whimper :) The room itself was dark, and they were playing calm soothing music. It was interrupted periodically with at least 4 different loud telephone rings (4 different telephone calls). Another irritating thing is that they ask you to turn your phone ringer off, but the front desk person got a call on his personal cell phone that rang, and 2 employees were chatting out loud. I give them 4 stars and here's why.... I like my massage therapist, David and Susan because I feel that they do their job with love and compassion. They are a husband and wife and both are super nice. Although they don't speak fluent English, I do my best to communicate with them which areas to put focus on my body. They are the ones I come here for every week. It's very inexpensive yet they get the job done. I am always on my feet at work; a very high physical demand type of job. I also had prior lower lumbar back injury so I take the time to get some appropriate care and attention to my body for recovery. Often times my muscles gets sore and stiff. PROS: 1st: Good deal for $20.00 for 1 hour full body massage and it's definitely WORTH IT. 2nd: I like that you don't need to take off your clothes and also I like that they soak your feet on warm water and they also will bring you a cup of water after every massage. Btw, I bring my own oils (lavender and eucalyptus or menthol to pour in my bucket water and use it for my body massage. It's okay with them! ;) 3rd: Coed restroom is available for customers, clean and well maintained and doesn't smell bad. CONS: 1st: I guess it gets louder if new people/customers comes in and they talk loud sometimes. 2nd: Also, if you are okay with people snoring and it doesn't bother you then go for it. 3rd: They place relaxing music however it gets repetitive and It's like a broken record at times and they don't change it. I hope they will update it now. It's also a small open space but the good thing is there is nothing extra or illegal happening here and it's totally legit business, if you know what I mean. (NO hanky panky allowed) Lol Owner is very friendly and they also sell packages for the ones who are frequent customers and wants to save extra money. I did not find out his name, but his message sucks really bad. He was looking at the clock every 5 min. He was not present for 6-7 minutes. And the worst part is the massage. My 13 yo nephew can massage me harder than that. who gives massage with one hand while the other hand supports the masseuse's chin while he's dozing off? Be very careful at this establishment. My husband and I came for a couples massage. We paid for an hour long full body session at $45 each. The ladies did a decent job, minus the whispering and giggling throughout our massage. No biggie. However, the older gentleman at the cash register was insanely rude and obnoxious. My husband gave $20 cash for tip and asked for $4 back. This fool has the nerve to say "what do you mean" very loud so everyone else can hear. Then he tells us that there's a $10 minimum tip each. Wth?! There's no such thing as a minimum tip. We were tipping well over 15%. We didn't want to create a scene over $4, so we didn't fight it. Be sure to take exact change for tip. Nice people; no long wait times. It's not on the main sidewalk, in the plaza so it's quiet and peaceful without all the people traffic in front of their doors. Very clean inside. The massage was wonderful for $19.99 one hour. Lady started with my scalp which really help me relax from the beginning. Pressure was just as I requested. Reflexology was wonderful. They do not change the towels on the chairs or the sheets (watch while you wait) they take it down and refold the same ones.
