This is a great shoe store with caring and considerate customer service. I'm new to foot problems and this is the store my Dr. recommend I visit. I made the mistake of purchasing the wrong shoes and had to return them. The sales person was so kind and patient with me even though I threw a tantrum. Stopped by to see if they had an insert for our daughter's cleat and even though they didn't, Cheri gave us heel cushions at no charge and taught us how to lace the cleats for a better fit. Professional and helpful--would recommend visiting them for "foot solutions". read more

Dreadful service, especially from store owner and manager who put me in wrong sized athletic shoe after foot surgery. No responsibility on owner's part for store's mstake; she became argumentative when I requested a refund. I've had much better service at SAS, The Walking Company and Crocs. If you value exceptional customer service (or customer service on any level), this is NOT the store for you. While most of the employees seem quite pleasant and gracious, the owner is definitely NOT. In the past, I have overlooked certain things, giving her the benefit of the doubt. But recently, I went in to return a pair of shoes and was left waiting at the counter for over 15 minutes. While she did acknowledge me upon entering, she would not come over to assist me, even when her customer was walking around the store testing a pair of shoes. I mean, how hard is it to say, " while you're taking a test run in those shoes, I'm going to go assist that lady and I'll be right back." But instead, she allowed me to stand there.....and stand there....and stand there.....until I finally picked up my return and walked out the door. I returned the following day and got one of her staff, who was quite lovely. I explained my disappointment with my experience and she recommended I just deal with her....but why would I spend my money in a business where the owner is so inconsiderate? I don't think so. There are simply too many other options that do not include feeling ignored and offended. Isn't it interesting that the negative reviews are almost exclusively based on their experience with the owner? That is telling. read more

DO NOT waste your time and money at Foot Solutions Scottsdale! Recently my 90 year old mother in law went to Foot Solutions to see what kind of "solution" they could offer because she has a size 6 & 8 foot. She barely had her foot in the door and was bombarded with a handful of sales people. Over the last 70 years she, my mother in law, has purchased 2 separate pair of shoes to accommodate for her differences in size. $400.00 and an hour later Foot Solutions put her into a pair of size 8 shoes and bulked up the size 6 shoe to make the shoe fit!!!! Apparently they did not take into account that she would have to retrain herself to walk in a shoe that is 2 sizes bigger than what she is used to!!!!!!! She is 90 and already does not walk well. Talk about an accident waiting to happen!!!! The sales person told her to try the shoes around the house for 2 weeks and if she was not happy she could return the shoes. Because she walks so little she barely wore the shoes and the 2 weeks passed. A week later her and I were discussing the "new" shoes. She expressed that they were uncomfortable and felt like she was going to fall. I immediately drove to Foot Solutions hoping in good faith they would make an exception and provide us with a refund. I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting one of the most unprofessional and rude sales person, the owner. She was VERY defensive and unwilling to help because we exceeded the 2 week return date. She kept questioning my mother in law like she was on trial. In fact, during our conversation I told her I did not appreciate that she was talking over me and as the customer I did not appreciate it. Needless to say, no refund was provided which is fine we chalked up the experience as a loss but my mother in law is safe. A little common sense and compassion would have been a much better solution for the not so Foot "Solution" store!!!!!! read more

I wish I had read the reviews for this place before I came in, it seems the owner Sue is the biggest reason to shop elsewhere. I live in San Francisco and was visiting family over Thanksgiving. I have plantar fasciitis and I am in a lot of pain so I came to foot solutions for some relief. The in-store experience is a little creepy. I had to ask the sales lady to let me browse alone for a few minutes because they are all over you when you come in. She had a lot of knowledge though and I decided on a pair of shoes that they didn't have in stock but would ship to me in California. I spent well over 200 dollars. Here's where the one star review got earned: They shipped the shoes (2 weeks later) "no signature required" to a major metropolitan city. I figure that box sat outside my apartment for about 15 minutes before a homeless person stole them. Lesson learned for them right? No. The "solution" they offered was to give me the tracking number so I could call Fed Ex. Translation="you deal with it." After I called back and spoke with the owner I suggested that it was their mistake and maybe they should expedite a replacement pair. Her response? "I'm certainly not going to do that", and "I can't guarantee that you could receive another pair before the holidays so I'd rather just refund your money". Really? I came to your business because I'm in a lot of pain and your solution is to wipe the slate clean and be done with me? Um, ok. I got a full refund and then went online that night and found the EXACT same pair of shoes for $70 cheaper! They shipped the next morning. today was my third visit to this foot solutions store, and unsurprisingly, my experience was again perfect. the sales team was highly educated on the shoes, the manufacturers, and the best fit for my foot shape and planned activities. I was offered a full range of products at different price points with a smile and without pressure. and I settled on a shoe that provides better support than anything I've found in other stores. The proprietor is supposed to be a professional. Nothing seems further from the truth. I am a physician with type 2 diabetes and complicated foot problems. Foot Solutions made orthotic for me that caused a stress fracture and a foot ulcer. When I tried to discuss this and the 8 weeks of misery including a hospitalization for debridement of my ulcer and infected bone and two weeks of IV antiobiotic, I was told that the problem was my fault because I di not follow their break in instruction and did not check my feet. The truth is that as soon as I could I this researched professionals and found one who made orthotic correctly. The proof is that I have worn the new orthotic for 4 weeks without any problem. In closing, I have never dealt with anyone as unprofessional as this establishment and would never.............. recommend them to anyone. I now buy most of my shoes (Finn) at Foot Solutions . Staff extremely knowledgeable re: fit for problem feet - they have been great. Zachary usually helps me and really knows shoes and feet. This store has been a godsend for me. I've had years of pain on the top of my feet when I walk distances and no one, not even doctors, could figure out why.I purchased an orthotic here and the pain is gone! My feet feel great. i can go 6 miles with out pain!! I was unsure about this initially, but am so glad that I listened to their advice. They are always helpful, even offered to let me take a pair of shoes to my ailing mother to try on (return if necessary) without hesitation. I feel good service needs to be commended. I decided to get a couple really good pair of shoes for my trip to Europe. I wanted comfy & well fitted shoes because I was going to do a lot of walking. I spent over $300 on 2 pairs of shoes. I bought them 11 days prior to my trip & was told I could wear them in my house for a week to see if they really felt good. I did that, and they did feel good, so off to Europe I went. One week into my trip the strap on my $200 sandals broke (I did get them on sale for $100) so I had to find new sandals. I was away 22 days. After my return, I took the shoes to the store to see if they would repair or replace them. Two salespeople told me the break should not have happened & they were sorry & of course there was a solution. Since 30 days had passed, they had to ask the owner. The owner refused to do anything even after I explained I was out of the country during the 30 day period, and I bought the shoes specifically for the trip. She told me the manufacturer would not cover it & she would not either. She said "they were on sale anyway", like that was a disclaimer. Funny, because the day I went back every shoe was marked on sale???? She referred me to a shoe repair shop & said it was a very simple fix. She said she was sorry. I told her I was, too. Very poor business to not cover a simple repair? As a note, I looked closer at the bottom of the shoe when it broke. MADE IN CHINA - where is the quality for such high prices? Apparently the owner does not care about her customers. In this day of Social Media, I think she needs to wake up & provide better customer service. i have been a customer at Foot Solutions in Scottsdale for 12 years. In my opinion it is the best shoe store in Scottsdale .They have a large selection of shoes that are not only beautiful but designed for comfort as well. I have worked with the owner, Sue, for many years and she is terrific! She is highly skilled, very knowledgeable and professional, conscientious and very customer -oriented. Sue and her entire staff will always do everything possible to make sure the needs of the customer are met. Whether it is making an orthotic or designing necessary accommodations for even the most difficult of foot problems----they are all excellent. They also know how to fit you in the proper shoe size. Destroyed my orthotics! Owner agreed to recover my orthotics and failed to deliver as promised three times in one week. Lied repeatedly telling me she was working on them and was almost done. When I got to the store on the day she finally guaranteed they would be ready, she lied to me again, kept me waiting 30 minutes, and it turned out she had not done any work on them at all and was just now starting to fix them! I told her this was totally unacceptable customer service and I would take my business elsewhere. She brought out the stripped pieces of plastic from each orthotic, placed them in a bag and said "too bad, kiddo" as I left the store. Later that morning, I discovered she had placed fresh glue in each plastic orthotic that day without telling me and they were now glued to the plastic bag and each other! Totally destroyed and unable to be used again, a loss of $350 to replace them. In addition to being unprofessional and unethical, she was consistently rude and offensive in her comments, service, and attitude. I have been an exclusive customer with Foot Solutions locations all over the country for all of my footwear needs over the past 10 years with great service and product expertise. STAY AWAY from the Scottsdale location, an absolutely untrustworthy owner -RUN!!! read more
