    Sweet happiness in a box...

Still my go-to spot for donuts when I get a craving! My faves all have a texture & taste that satisfies. The raised are yeasty & tender, but still have a nice bite. The cake donuts aren't dry. The apple fritter has a nice outer crisp & sweetness. The buttermilk bars have a perfectly craggly exterior & are moist inside. I don't find the glazes overly sweet. Service is friendly & patient. My only gripe is that a lot of times, even by mid-morning, the selection can be SO dwindled down. Pay with cash, otherwise there's a $1 credit card fee.

We got a haul of donuts! All the ones I tried were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Depending on the type of donut, I heard that they make them fresh at certain times in the morning. For example, they make the apple fritter at 6am everyday, and it shows! Be there early to increase your chance of getting them the freshest. You can also customize your preference. I was able to ask for chocolate covered and maple covered donut holes! I need to make a pit stop soon to try all the other options.

We drove by one morning and noticed a line so we had to try it out. It was about 8:20 and it looked like most of the donuts were gone. They had standard donuts like raised and old fashion, and then your specialty like twists and cinnamon rolls. It looked like the flavors were pretty straight forward, compared to some shops that have the crazier flavors. We got an apple fritter and something called a tiger tail. The fritter was crispy and not too oily, and the tiger tail was light and fluffy. Prices were comparable to other shops. It was a nice little donut spot and will definitely try them out again.

We love trying local donut shops, this was our first time here it was good. Donuts were fresh and fluffy. They have a handful of tables to set at inside. Service was quick even with a line. I ordered an apple fritter it was delicious. We will keep this on our list when near the area.

The best donut shop in town. Family run and Mary gets to know everyone that comes in. This is the place my family loves to go for donuts.

Great place. Used to frequent often but moved to Lincoln. Still worth the drive! Very nice folks running it and great selections.

So while sitting in the car waiting for my wife and toddler to use the bathroom, I googled this place, not thinking much of it. Then, I find out that Rocklin Donuts and Cinnamon have made it onto some of the best donut lists in the whole country! So, of course, here I am jumping out of the car and strolling over to see what's left on a Sunday (Mother's Day) afternoon. Unfortunately for me, they were out of there incredible looking cinnamon rolls and apple fritters. The photos from other Yelpers made me jealous. Instead, I got some donut holes and a chocolate croissant. The nice lady had a thick accent, but we got things figured out, and she even threw in some extra donut holes for me. The donut holes were incredible. Absolutely melt in your mouth. Perfection. The chocolate croissant was not flaky or crispy, but had that classic donut shop chewy texture, and of course, was loaded with chocolate. I HAVE to come back for the apple fritter, as that's one of my favorite donuts, and the cinnamon rolls look insane. I will be back!

Right when you walk in, the sweet aroma of fresh baked sweets welcomed you in. There was a good crowd inside which we thought were waiting to order but found out they were waiting for the fresh baked sweet bread. A must if you ever try any. Just looking through the case of all the amazing creation. Basically fancy donuts. One after the other. They also had a few savory items included. Didn't get any but they looked amazing. We ended up going with the bad bundles. Half dozen donuts and 20 piece staxx. Found out that's what people were waiting for when we walked in. Everyone was waiting for them to come fresh out of the oven hence the long wait. It did take a while for us but we were offered a cookie to try while waiting. It was delicious, I do recommend the ube cookies. After what did take a long while, we tried our fresh HOT box of staxx. Let me say, wow they were amazing and of course hot. Straight from the oven. Nice moist bread with a nice sweet glaze. I can see what the hype was about with them. Everyone in line for them. We didn't get a chance to try the donuts right away. By the time we had them, it had been sitting for a while. Still good but better if they were fresh from the start. It was good regardless and this place was great. The staxx, would definitely get again.

However, that was…read morebefore it was sold to a business owner who has employed their family in customer service positions and has no desire nor ability to coach their employees to provide better service. The gentleman who is always there seems intoxicated and has no business working in customer service. He says strange things and is extremely forgetful - in fact, the same day I stopped coming here, a man with his family had a confrontation with him. The worker's behavior always very off - not a personality thing, but appears to be a sobriety issue. In the aforementioned man's confrontation, the worker forgot multiple items and wouldn't make it right until the man brought it up, showed his receipt, and made the worker calculate the items which were bought - after the worker gave the man what he was owed, the worker failed to acknowledge their mistake and simply looked at the man with a blank stare. I had a similar issue and called the manager, who wasn't even on site. However, I didn't notice I was missing items until I drove home. The manager wouldn't even say "sorry about that" they simply said they would talk to the staff and that I should go back to pick up the items THEY failed to provide. I went back, and the same gentleman with the inconsistent, non-sober appearing behavior said he didn't hear anything from his manager and I had to call the manager AGAIN. If it isn't the poor behavior from the dude working there, the chick in the back with the sour attitude also fails every box of customer service. I'll never return. This was a great place when the original owner was running the show, now it's just bad.
