    Tempeh avocado crunch
    Navatnie E.

The food here is always fresh and really well made, which is why I keep coming back. Today they were busy and had a long line, so we decided to order through the app, but that actually took longer than just waiting in line. Everything still tasted great once we got it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shared bathrooms could also use a bit more attention.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, it is still a solid spot with quality food, just something to keep in mind during peak lunch hours.

The club med with roasted tempeh is looking good today. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Late lunch = no crowd, quiet, me and my bowl.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love how friendly the staff is, always smiling and greeting your entry. Come on in.

I will completely take back most of my previous review. We ordered takeout on a Friday, the order was delayed, missing extra ingredients that we paid extra for, and staff didn't bother to notify us before making it. Additionally, staff didn't tell us after waiting in the lobby for 20 min (they knew we were there becuase we asked about the order when arriving) when our order was done. After all this and asking for a partial refund on the items we paid extra for, a manager did contact us and refund the order and provide a coupon for the next. The following Monday we tried to order again. This time was even worse. The staff were very helpful and did let us know that they were out of sunflower sprouts, which we did then get to replace. However, I truly regret even wasting my time with forage again, regardless if I had a coupon from the bad experience last time. They forgot both proteins that cost probably three dollars extra on each bowl and an entire dressing on one bowl. I have zero confidence in them at this point. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While food is really good, I love the atmosphere, and staff are nice - there is clearly a pattern going on with lack of attention to detail.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Which is not OK when you're paying extra for premium ingredients. I completely understand mistakes happen. I wasn't even going to write this review until the second experience happened, which makes me question how this could happen so frequently. Sweetgreen seems to be much more reliable. I'm truly sad they have disappointed me so much.

    Curry Bowl with Chicken

My husband and I LOVE the curry bowl. We always add chicken and they give you a good portion. This is like a healthier/more natural Qdoba bowl experience. My only complaints are that the grains are hard/not cooked thru some of the times and I wish they had the sourdough bread every time. We typically take this home to eat.

My first time at Forage, and I absolutely loved it! I'm not in Madison too often, but was traveling for work and wanted a quick, but healthier/tastier lunch, and I'm so glad I stopped in. I wish there were more locations in the Milwaukee area, specifically Wauwatosa. I ordered the Thai bowl with chicken and for the price, I feel like it was still a good amount of food. Parking out front was very simple and there's a coffee shop right next door in case you also need a caffeine fix. It was quick to order, even during the lunch rush. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seating inside, and I believe there's a back patio, but I didn't explore that much.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Power Bowl, front with tofu, plus bread, back with chicken.

Forage Kitchen has some really nice combinations of vegetarian friendly foods! It was so nice to be have a good selection of plant based items, plus the ability for non vegetarians to add some chicken to their bowl. We both had the power bowl, one with tofu and one with chicken. The whole flavor combination was terrific the green goddess dressing- avocado based- was just so tasty. You order at the counter and can take it with or eat in. Nice that they served it in glass bowls and had actual forks of metal to eat with. Really great flavors.

Traveling through on our way from my parent's farm, back to Maryland; what a treat. Super flavorful and healthy ingredients.

Yummy, fresh and healthy. Nice, quick stop during our road trip. Definitely stop in if you are short on time, but need a nutritious, tasty meal!

    Fiesta Bowl
    Gary A.

Ordered a meal on line, Fiesta bowl. It was ready when promised and made the way I ordered it. The ingredients were fresh and well composed. I added chicken to the bowl, very well cooked and was moist and tasty. It was a great combination of ingredients and matched the description on the internet.

    Summer Salad
    Aurora A.

WOW! I waited a while to finally try this place because it seemed "too" healthy to be tasty. I was wrong! from the soft sourdough bread you get with every meal to the incredibly fresh ingredients in every bowl. I have had the summer salad twice and it was excellent and consistent each time. My boyfriend had the poke bowl and said it was good but he would probably try a different bowl next time. The service was also speedy and friendly. Can't wait to try new things at my new favorite lunch spot!

Yummy plant based options. You are appreciated. I love and appreciate the freshness. Tired of the same old burger fry joints. Thanks.

Went to Forage this evening with my wife. We both absolutely loved the Local Salad and Chicken Curry meals. We will be repeat customers!

Food was great, healthy, the place was relatively clean. Lots of trash after the meal, I wish that could be reduced. Nice outdoor seating!

Went on a Wednesday night, and it was considerably busy. Busy enough it took the server over twenty…read moreminutes to get us just our waters. However, once we got over that hump, the service was pretty good, especially as a few larger tables cleared out. I had the mahi mahi fish tacos. They were pretty good. Definitely larger than I was expecting. It has definitely been a long while since I've had mahi mahi, so it was a bit of an adjustment on my part. To be honest, I didn't really notice the jicama, and I'm sure you could mistake it for carrots or any other mild root vegetable. The chili lime vinaigrette was where it was at though. Wasn't too sweet, spicy, or sour. I thought it had a really nice balance of flavors. I chose the potato dippers as my side, and those were different. They're like a mix between a potato chip and steak fries. They didn't taste bad or anything, it was just for me, they were a bit to soft texturally to be considered a "fry." My fellow diners both had the Spring Buddha Bowls. They seemed to be enjoyed. There was a comment made about the peanut sauce having a bit more spicy kick than expected, but it seemed as it was a good contrast to the sweet cherry tomatoes and corn. Overall, a very nice restaurant whose acoustics seemed to be better than what they appeared to be, i.e. I was able to hear what the others at my table were saying. Overall, the service and food was good enough that I would consider visiting again, and recommending it has a place to people visiting the area.

I had a salad with a variety of vegetables and filet mignon cut up in the salad. Fireplace is nice in winter. Could relax and enjoy. Very reasonably priced.
