    Lobster bisque and Cobb salad
    David V.

Pretty consistent and I love this place. Most of the times I've came, haven't really had an issue finding a table, but I can picture this place on the weekends being pretty busy. The Cobb salad was good. I asked for the avocado dressing instead of the ranch and it tasted good. Pretty filling with the half order lobster bisque I ordered. The lobster bisque was lighter than what usual lobster bisque is. This one didn't taste like it had heavy cream I think. The next day I ordered the power bowl. Pretty good as well. I honestly would be stuck on deciding which to order again, it would probably depend on mood. The potatoe soup was good too. I also ordered the Dubai chocolate strawberries. It was so good. Great dessert to a light meal. Staff was friendly and quick.

    Nuts about berries salad

The food is usually pretty good here. I usually get a sandwich and the nuts about berries salad. I lowered the rating a bit as this time when I went there was one guy working his arse off while a bunch of other people just stood around. I really like the salad and I usually do their seasonal sandwich. This time it was a grilled cheese with bacon and apples that was quite good. I also lowered the rating a bit as this place just feels a bit too expensive for what you get as well as asking for tips when you need to get your own drinks as well as bus your own table.

I visited for a late lunch on Friday with a friend and enjoyed the easy parking. From where we parked it was hard to tell where the main entrance was. We entered near the patio and realized that was a different door so it took us a while to find where to order. After orienting ourselves we got in line and tried to figure out the menu. There were a lot of options and they were all visually displayed on the wall, but the ingredients weren't listed so it was hard to tell what I wanted. When I asked what was in the sandwiches the staff directed me to a catering book that was sitting on the counter that explained what was in each sandwich. I got the pick 2 option which gives you a full sandwich and a soup. With that you also get bread and a chocolate covered strawberry. That is plenty of food and I actually saved half of the sandwich and the piece of bread for later. I ended up with the Mediterranean sandwich which had amazing ingredients, but the bread was a little weird for the sandwich. Maybe it would have been better if it was toasted. I'll probably just get the bowl version in the future. For the soups, they have a ton of options and let you try them before committing which is super fun. I ended up getting the cauliflower soup which was so good, although very creamy and probably not too healthy. Finally I ordered a drink and cheesecake too. The sunshine drink of theirs is amazing, while the raspberry one is very plain. The cheesecake was fine. The sauce was a bit thick so that was a little off-putting. The cafe name made me think this would be a cute place to work remotely or chat with friends and it's really not, even on the patio. The inside is a big, open room that is fairly cold, loud, and echoey. Plus, they told me they didn't have WiFi so I wouldn't have been able to work anyway. This could be a good option to pick up something quickly if you are in the area and heading home. I'll get a bowl next time, and maybe try a few more soups.

I am so glad that I decided to stop in at cafe zupas during my recent trip to Madison, WI. They have a wide selection of soups, sandwiches, salads and power bowls. I got the chicken enchilada chili soup and a bbq salad. Both were amazing!! My meal also came with a side of chocolate covered strawberry.

Delicious food, fast service, bright and clean restaurant. Can sample their soup while waiting in line for your food. The combos are great and I like the chocolate covered strawberry that comes with the meal.

I took out dinner from here on a week day. Spicy chicken sandwich was my favorite thing. It was actually mild for me, but still good. Mediterranean bowl was an excellent vegetarian dish.

    Great food

From SC. First visit. Really good. Make sure you get a desert. All the food is fresh and has new flavors.

A fast casual place for soup, salad, and sandwich, think a cross between Panera and Chipotle. Lots of choices, maybe a little too much for me. The half salad is a pretty good portion size although the full sandwich is a little small. I wish they had metal utensils instead of plastic disposables. Comes with a chocolate-covered strawberry and a little bun which would be great for soup so maybe next time I should get a half soup. Salt and pepper grinders are a nice classy touch. Desserts look great but I resisted the urge for cheesecake on this visit.

Cafe Zupas is super similar to Panera. You definitely get more food for a better price than Panera. However, I do prefer the broccoli cheddar soup and bread bowl at Panera. I ordered the Choose 2 which came with any combination of a soup, sandwich, or salad. You also got bread and a chocolate covered strawberry with your meal. I thought the strawberry was such a cute touch! I got the pesto chicken sandwich and the bbq chicken salad. The sandwich was okay but salad was absolutely delicious! The chocolate covered strawberry and bread were really good as well. The atmosphere isn't the best inside. It wasn't the most inviting or very organized. The outdoor patio, however, was super cute!! I'd definitely suggest sitting out there if you can!

The omelette was OK like 2.5 stars with fresh spinach, tomatoes, olives and feta cheese. The eggs were overcooked leaning heavily toward rubbery. Ingredients were as advertised but took over because of the omelette's texture. The star was the biscuit - layered and buttery perfect with some honey. I ordered the apple pie but it had a crumb topping which was very blond in color with a thick underbelly of floured glue! Yuck I complained and was told that this is how they make their pies and if I wanted a full top crust- well only cherry and peach apple have double crusts. Cherry pie did have a double crust and the filling was almost thick enough to hold up my fork! I'm not sure that the cherry filling was not canned. What do you think? Service was excellent my waitress was attentive and very loyal to the business. She stated she told the cook? about my apple pie concerns and proudly gave me a coupon for a free slice of pie the next time I dined inside. I left the coupon with a substantial tip for her service.

Personally, I prefer estate grown and bottled wines from their corresponding appellations, not a central processing facility. It's also likely your waiter is probably gonna make a pitch for you to join the wine club. We came here for the food and to try some of the wine with the dinners. Sitting down then looking at the menu and seeing the prices, my expectations definitely went up. Our very attentive waiter Rory recommended some drink choices and set down a complimentary warm loaf of bread. We started with the sweet chili calamari. It was a very large battered portion coated in a thick Ponzu glaze that was perfectly cooked. I got the prime rib sandwich with a side salad and my guests had the Napa chicken salad and gnocchi. The prime rib had some good medium rare sliced beef, but the aus jus was oddly sweet and it was not something I'd order again. The Napa chicken salad was nothing real special and the chicken was as cold as the refrigerator it came from. As someone who works in the wine business, the sparkling brut and Pinot Noir were hardly worth the price. We all agreed the food was a little underwhelming for the price. Great atmosphere and service but the food and wine doesn't live up to the price point. If everything was half the price, I'd be back. 10 informative photos for your consideration.
