    Harvest Bowl

The Harvest bowl from Sweet Green is my go to! A bit pricey but the portion is huge enough to last for two meals or fill you up in one go. The ingredients are always fresh and I love the variety of offerings! One of my favorite parts of getting sweetgreen is the dressing -- option for light, medium, heavy is awesome! The people making bowls are also generally very friendly, I often ask for recommendations or suggestions and they are very responsive to that. Definitely recommend stopping in for a nourishing meal!

I'm so happy that sweetgreen is finally in Madison!!! The food is so great. Portions are very generous and filling. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Service is quick and I haven't had any issues. I love this location and it's very walkable if you're in the downtown area. I love the bright lights and the clean vibes. I'll be eating here alllll the time!

Can't believe I ate a rock out of their salad!!!!! At first I thought it wasn't true but I spit it out and it indeed was a rock. This is disgusting

I was so torn between the different options! Everything was so clean on the inside and all of the food was so fresh! Definitely a modern place! I finally decided on the buffalo chicken bowl called Bold & Buffalo. It has brown rice, arugula, buffalo chicken, carrots, radicchio, white cheddar, roasted cauliflower, croutons**, & ranch dressing. It was definitely a party in my mouth and my soul was happy! It was so good I immediately thought, if I had the money I'd open up a C&G in my city! I was so pleased. The only disappointing thing about this place is that they don't have one in my city!!! Lol! I'm a huge CG fan now!!!

I came here with a small group and we went in to order at staggered times since we sat outside with some of our pups. It wasn't crazy busy or crowded, but it took forever to get our food. At one point we were worried something happened and felt like maybe we should go check on the people ordering inside. I ordered the Wild Child bowl, and while it was good, the flavoring was overall just kinda bland -- not bad, just bland. I still happily ate it all, but there are other options in the area with similar food concepts and I might go there instead given the option. Still, if in the area, I would definitely order from here again.

However, our server wasn't super familiar with the menu and didn't know what was in certain dishes. We ordered a variety of dishes. Overall, everyone liked their meals. The flavors were great. Love the Korean fusion. However... despite that we were the first ones in the door, they did not have the chicken that was on the menu. That seemed strange to all of us that they didn't plan ahead for a holiday weekend. A solid restaurant would usually have their menu items well stocked prior to a holiday weekend. Overall, still a good expertise if you're willing to be flexible.

We had reservations, so we were seated right away which was a plus. Also, I will say I don't think any of the issues we had were because of our waitress. She was super friendly and quick enough to take our orders on a day when there restaurant seemed full enough, but manageable. We got our drink orders in and our food at the same time to speed up the process for getting little kids food, and the waitress even took note of that. We also ordered an appetizer to help during the wait. It took a while for the drinks to come out, but they were all rather tasty. I think my apple cider mocktail was the best and refreshing since it was getting hot in the restaurant with the sun beating in. Our food however took forever and the kids meals did not come out any earlier than everyone else. One person in our group also initially didn't get his meal, which the waitress apologized and said there was a mixup in the kitchen. That's fine, it happens, but then the staff running meals tried to bring him the wrong order 3 times. The rest of us were all finished eating by the time he finally got his food. Overall, the food was fine. I got the eggs benedict which was a little underdone on the eggs for me as the whites were too runny for me. The kids chicken nuggets were pretty tasty with a flaky breading. I heard decent reviews of the breakfast burger, but the thing that was the best to us was the breakfast sandwich. It was quite messy, but the messiness of the sauce was worth it. We also got an appetizer of the cinnamon roll. I feel like it's a little mislabeled though, as it was more like a morning bun with some frosting/glaze over the top. Tasted pretty good and helped keep kids entertained for a while. Overall, the food was fine, but the experience wasn't great. With the multiple mixups in orders and getting a little green house effect going with the sun shining in, there wsnt a great feeling when leaving. Again, I don't think it was our waitresses fault, so not sure what was going on in the kitchen.

I've tried so many of their bowls and salads on the menu; the cashew bowl is top tier with a dressing so good I could drink it. The avocado crunch is also great (tuna salad please come back). The bowls are a very generous size and fill me up every time. I also love that their ingredients are locally sourced, and don't skip out on their cookies for dessert. I literally wish I could eat forage for lunch every single day. This Hilldale location is my favorite. Staff is always so nice and they make my bowl perfect every time. My experience at other locations hasn't been as good (too much dressing, out of multiple ingredients) so I always stick with this one. Easy parking and lots of shops around to stop in after/before your meal.

I like that it's a quick option (counter service) for dinner when you're hungry but don't want to go to a full-service restaurant, or when you just want something healthier! The mini size bowls are really small (in my opinion) - probably half the size of the regular ones, so just something to note. I'd probably just pay the extra $3 and get the normal sized one. Love that they have a variety of drinks too (canned beer, wine, etc.). They also have a fairly substantial area if you choose to dine in.
