I don't necessarily mind that, but it would have been helpful if it was explained more clearly when I booked. The message I received said, "It's a private property, go to your right when you arrive." Since most businesses are technically on private property, that wasn't very specific. I purchased a Groupon for a single-process color, cut, conditioning treatment, and blow-dry, and booked my appointment for 12 p.m. about a week in advance. I arrived around 11:50 but wasn't taken until about 12:25. Not a huge issue, but the wait felt longer since it was warm inside and a bit uncomfortable. Once seated, I explained what I wanted, but then had to wait again before someone came from the back to start my color. She didn't make much conversation, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it made the experience quieter than I'm used to in a salon. After the dye was applied, I noticed the timer stopped working at some point, but eventually it was time to wash it out. The wash itself was nice--the shampoo and conditioner smelled great. My haircut, however, felt rushed. I only wanted my dead ends trimmed, but another stylist stepped in and seemed to finish in under five minutes. For the blow-dry, the stylist who did my color also handled this part. She took her time, sectioned my hair carefully, and overall did a good job, though there were a couple of moments where my neck was tugged a bit. All in all, it's a decent little salon. They also offer nail and facial services, which I noticed while I was there.
