Highly knowledgeable staff, amazing customer service! They always do what they can to get you on a boat or out for a dive!

50' certification dive with Instructor John Richert (w red headband)

Instructor John Richert is amazing! In between storms he custom designed a way for me to get my Open Water Certification using several dive sites. He was clear, polite, super knowledgeable, and has the best way of training with encouragement! When we were at the shop (Force E SCUBA Center), I was amazed at the extreme inventory and the amount of sales going on. And what a great location!

Without the properly working dive gear I wouldn't have had a Hogfish dinner!

Bill in the back of the shop got me up and running on a short lead time. I couldn't thank him and his staff for the great customer service.

The story: We rented tanks and weights and a dive buoy from Force-E so we could dive the Blue Heron Bridge.

Communication was excellent during both the booking process and the trip itself. Everything was well organized and clearly taken care of. The dive itself was exceptional, with loggerhead turtles, goliath groupers, lemon sharks, and bull sharks all making appearances. The next day I booked a guided night dive at Blue Heron Bridge with Ethan. Once again, the communication was top-notch. Ethan was a fantastic guide, expertly taking us to several micro-environments and pointing out an incredible variety of critters--many of which I had never seen before, even though I had visited the bridge a couple of times previously.

Before booking, we were very clear that we were relatively new divers and had never done a drift dive. We specifically expressed that we wanted to feel safe and properly supported. We were assured it would be fine, but once we were in the water, the support simply wasn't there. There was very little help with weights at the start. I quickly realized I was underweighted and had to go back and get more, which immediately separated me from the group. From there, things only got worse. I ended up alone on the reef during a drift -- something that should never happen -- and ultimately had to surface solo and wait for the boat by myself. To make matters worse, my surface marker/flag device wouldn't inflate properly, and I had to be picked up alone. At no point did I feel like anyone from the team was proactively ensuring I was safe or accounted for. Afterward, the only response I received was essentially, "Sorry you had a bad experience." That was the extent of the support. The diving itself may be beautiful, but the staff's lack of attentiveness and concern for client safety and experience was deeply disappointing. When newer divers communicate nervousness and inexperience with drift diving, that should be taken seriously -- not brushed aside. This wasn't about conditions or bad luck. It was about a lack of care and leadership. I would not recommend this operation to newer divers, and I left feeling unsettled rather than excited about the dive.

We met friends from Down Under Dive Club in Melbourne, FL (not the other Melbourne), and everything ran smoothly right away. You drop off your gear and they load it for you. When the dives are done, they unload it too. Super easy and completely stress free. Jessica, our dive guide, and Kayla, the deckhand, were outstanding. They were organized, attentive, and made sure everyone was well briefed and comfortable for both drift dives. They also had some great extras during the surface intervals, including cold sodas, water, and fresh watermelon, which was a really nice touch. Kyalami is one of the best charter operations in South Florida. Part of me wants to keep them a secret, but they have absolutely earned the praise. Highly recommend.

When I went to the dock to meet the boat, nobody arrived no phone call nothing and I want to calling them up and they told me that they were cancelled all their trips for the next. Weeks. They asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I told him that I lived in California and I flew all the way out to dive with them and it was unable to, but I was going to maybe make plans to go next year and when I sent them the dates for next year got no response nothing. I then sent them a text message saying that since you were ignoring my text that I would like a refund and again nothing.

From start to finish, the entire team was outstanding; kind, attentive, and incredibly focused on safety. As someone with severe anxiety about the ocean and sharks, I was initially apprehensive, but the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and secure throughout the adventure. They guided us through the process step by step, patiently checking in on me and the other members of our group while we were in the water. Their extensive knowledge of shark species and what to expect during the snorkeling made a significant difference. I felt reassured knowing I was in capable hands. If you prefer a smaller group setting for your charter experience, Salty Divers is definitely the way to go. They made this an unforgettable outing, and I can't recommend them enough! Whether you're a seasoned snorkeler or a first-timer, this team will make your adventure truly special.

Scott got us fully geared up and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free--super friendly and clearly knows his stuff. Anne was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, taking the time to make sure everyone felt confident and prepared. And Annie brought such a calm, welcoming energy that instantly put everyone at ease. Now the dive itself... unreal. We saw lemon sharks, bull sharks, massive Goliath groupers, and even a tiger shark. It was one of those dives you replay in your head all day because you can't believe how incredible it was. Everything felt safe, organized, and genuinely fun. The crew clearly loves what they do, and it shows in every detail. Hands down, one of the best ways to spend a Tuesday. Can't wait to go back.

She bought the business from her ex-husband on 4/9/25. Since then, the store has gone downhill. She hired kids (which is good) but they are under 18 and cannot fill tanks legally so we left our tanks. When we inquired about hours, we were told they would be opened until 4:00pm but when we drove 45 minutes we found the store closed with no signs on the door. We tried calling but they don't have voice mail set up. She said she gets "thousands of calls" and didn't want to set it up. Employees park in the parking spot reserved for loading/unloading tanks so we had to walk our tanks across the parking lot. We will not be using their shop any longer and I would others to stay away. There are better dive shops in the area.
