I recently visited this bowling alley with my family, and overall the experience felt very uncomfortable. What stood out the most was how groups seemed to be separated--Black/ African-American guests were placed on one side while white guests were placed on another. Whether intentional or not, it came across as segregated and made the atmosphere feel very off. I normally would have left, but the kids were really excited to bowl, so we stayed for their sake. That said, no one should have to feel that way while trying to enjoy a simple outing. I hope management takes a serious look at how guests are being assigned lanes and works toward creating a more welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. read more

Clean. Well priced. Not amazingly friendly service- but it's service. Food is priced high, but usually the portions are okay size. Fries are large and hot. They participate in the kids bowl free in the summer and so we're there weekly. It was a nice atmosphere and we will choose them again. read more

horrible service from the jump, we asked to play billiards and instead of the red hair lady being reasonable and explaining that we need to be 21, she treated us like we were stupid, demanding our ID's with an attitude. we asked to play bowling instead, it was 55$ for 2 games and we were only 10 minutes into playing when she yelled across the place, "you guys need to throw those away" pointing at our cokes we brought with us, mind you the people at the lanes next to us had a box of crackers they brought from home and nobody said a word to them. The way she asked us to throw them away was super unprofessional and rude. i then asked for a refund and she had such an attitude saying that i "just wanted a refund because they asked me to throw the drinks away". they only refunded me 27$ because we were playing for 10 minutes, and had an attitude the ENTIRE time we were there. i do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

.the bartender clearly needed a day off ... or a hug ..was just here, attempting to get a shot with my boyfriend ...the bartender , rude, and dry as hell. litterally stared and investigated our IDs DRAMATICALLY for so long with the nastiest look on her face. Had a private gathering here for a department meeting today. Had a couple of hour review in the dining area by the large bar. There's an open floor that for dancing, most likely, that was used for the tables for the food setup for lunch. There are lots of lanes for bowling and a nice flow here. There's also a small bar that is directly behind the bowling alleys, It makes it easy and convenient to put in a drink order. They have some food here and provided many varieties of pizzas, several with me and several others with Vegetables, there's also a cheese pizza as well. They also provided us with a Greek salad, regular mix salad and a antipasto salad. The pizzas looked decent, but the crust was very thick and doughy. I ate most of the toppings off the pizzas only. They provided us with some refreshments. There was water, Pepsi, diet Pepsi and sierra mist as our options. No beer or liquor, since it's during work hours. It's a large bowling alley and has quite a bit of room for parties and other events. There are machined games near the bar and entryway. There's also a billiard table by the bar. There's lots of dining or seating area near the bar as well. There are 24 lanes in total. It's actually a large bowling alley, bigger than I thought. They have an old Atari game, pong. It's in the bar area. I never played this game, but I know his Big deal along time ago. They also have an old largess Pac-Man large screen game as well. The food here is average at best. The bowling alley and all the games inside here are pretty cool. Thumbs up on the alley, the friendly and helpful staff, the venue as a whole and all of the old school games for people. read more

This is the worst bowling alley I have ever been to with the most disgusting and rude staff. I walked up to an empty counter and asked to purchase another lane, and the attendant says "step aside I am in the middle of a transaction". After I purchased the additional lane, and our group had already been bowling on the other lanes, they shut off all four lanes mid-game without any explanation. When we approached the counter, they said there are some people in your group not wearing bowling shoes. There were three people there including a manager and we were directly in front of their desk area. Instead of walking up to us and asking us to wear bowling shoes, they just shut off the lanes! On top of that, we had bowled there previously and were told that we could wear our shoes if we did not come in wearing them from outside. So the people wearing their own shoes had changed into them upon walking to the lane. Horrible service, horrible management, we will never go to this business ever again. read more

Manager is an asshole. Made me pay $3 for extra 4 minutes to Finish a game And typically bowling alleys let us finish a game with 2 frame left. They charged me for 10 minutes and paid $4 at the end. We finished our game with 5 minutes left and they didn't wanted to give me the refund for the 5 minutes. Will never come here again. Assholes read more

Cheap bowling + drinks. The lanes glitch quite a bit with scoring but you can fix it on the system. The shoes looked pretty clean. Although it is a slightly outdated bowling alley, the atmosphere was still very light and fun - I'd definitely come here with a larger group if we were looking for a cheap outing. read more

This is a compliment to the manager named James. I ordered food and was fumbling with my cash due to holding a 1 year old at the same time. After paying for the food James approached me several minutes later and said he found $80 on the counter and believed it was mine because I paid with cash. I checked my money and he was right it was mine. The honesty and integrity is not something seen often. I will definitely bowl here again. The place was also clean and the food was delish. read more

I really like this bowling alley! Clean, updated and a good size. I really want to give them 5 stars but here's what's happened. I booked a party here in advance and when I booked originally I was told that everyone could pay separately no problem. The day of the party arrives and I told by a different employee that it needs to all be on one bill, essentially passing the inconvenience of collecting everyone's money onto me. Bummed about that. Ford Lanes is a very nice bowling alley that appears to be getting nicer in the coming months. They are currently going through some renovations to their lanes and bar area. Their prices are pretty good here for groups and they have some great drink specials and tasty bowling alley-type food. Also, they have those vintage bowling videos that are shown between bowlers from the late 90s which are always a cool thing to see. The three lanes that my group had when we were there all were working properly and didn't have any miscounts in pin setting. It's a bit small of a bowling alley, but if you come at the right time, it's a great experience! read more

Its a very nice Bowling Alley/Bar w/Karaoke, pool tables and alot of lanes. The lanes were fine oiled fine to me but im lefty. The workers treated us good. ( Not sure if it was because there was about 15 of us with 4 lanes) The bathrooms were clean (atleast then guys was) Prices are are kinda steep $22 per lane per hr on Saturday night. We got 4 lanes for 2 hrs,lol $176.00 not including shoes. Concessions was a little high on prices. Place was clean all in all. Has a restaurant connected to it. All in all,nice time read more

Went in with a group of women and our kids to utilize the "kids bowl free" promo for the first time. The manager treated us horribly. She was extremely rude and clearly wanted us out. I've bowled there with my kids plenty of times and never had an issue. It felt like we were treated different this time because the women we were with were wearing head scarves. I was pleasantly surprised walking into this bowling alley\bar\restaurant. Upon entry you walk into a nice wood bar\restaurant that's decorated with sports memorabilia, TVs, and a pool table. The area is very clean and has a rustic fell to it with all the wood. They have a full bar with a LOT of beers and all the liquor favorites. There is a jukebox\DJ and dance floor in the bar that appears it could be a good time at night although it wasn't overpowering at all and didn't feel like a club when eating. The area is somewhat separate from the bowling alley so you aren't overpowered by the noise of the alleys. The bowling alley has glow bowling that has a good amount of "glow" to It but you are still able to see and talk. All score is digital w\graphics and they have bumpers to use for the kids if needed. They also have plenty of kids balls and shoes. They offer a separate concession stand so you don't have to go into bar\restaurant. It appeared they had adult leagues and looked very organized. No a huge bowler but this is a nice alley that isn't super busy and a little off the main path. Would enjoy taking my wife or nieces\nephews here. They offer a Bday deal with bowling and pizza for a great price. read more

Nice bowling alley with yummy pizza! I've had two of my children's birthday parties here, and it was a lot of fun. The lounge area is big and comfortable. Plenty of room for people to hang out and eat, talk, etc...The staff was excellent and let me pretty much do what I wanted with my party. Everyone loved the pizza. I also come here with friends to bowl, we always have a good time. I don't drink, but they have a nice bar connected to the lounge if that's something you would like. We've never been disappointed with any of the food here, and we have always been treated well by the employees. read more

I go in tonight, Sunday the 18th, for my 22nd birthday looking to have a good time with a few friends. When I walk in I ask for a certain lane by the entrance and one of the older female staff member says, " are you going to make a mess?" Then through out the night the tall man working the counter seemed annoyed by everything I asked him. The woman who was cooking in the back was also short and snotty to my family and I . The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because of the bartender she was amazing and the male cook who was shorter. I expressed to the bartender how rude the staff members were which caused the staff member, who made that comment earlier, to come back to me to apologize and paid for my brothers bowling. I will not be coming back to this bowling ally because I want to have a good time when I go out, not be uncomfortable the whole time. read more

The Pizza here is probably amongst the best in Metro Detroit. I honestly think if more people were aware of the food, this place would be packed every day. If you are in the area, I can't suggest stopping in to eat enough. Full bar to go with your meal as well. read more

I have had more than one occasion of calling to get open bowling times and when I get there, it is not what I was told over the phone. I have experienced this for the 3rd time and I am extremely unhappy. When you call for a specific time and upon arrival you are told there is no open bowling that is a huge waste of time and money with little to no explanation. I just think they should be more accurate with times available. read more

My husband and I go here almost every Friday for drinks and fish & chips (but no fish in the summer since there's no leagues). They have a great selection for drinks, & a lot of bottled beers as well as seasonal craft & domestic beers on tap. Tracie at the bar is great, she's worked there a long time & is always helpful to people if they need help picking a drink. They also have really good pizza & appetizers. read more

Ford lanes has great employees and great lanes. The only downside is the red haired manager. If you're there for open bowling make sure you have your money ready. if you have a tab open beforehand, expect an eye roll because her walking to the bar to add your bowling to your tab is like asking for an arm and a leg. If you're there past 2 am, she will lock the doors on you. you can't have alcoholic drinks past 1:45 am "bar time", so don't even try. she doesn't want your money and if you don't want to be disrespected than "you should find somewhere else to bowl". the downside is that every other coworker there are great, nice people, so how much are you willing to risk? if you want to have a great night out bowling, head to ford lanes, but do everything you can to avoid the heatmiser. read more

We celebrated our sisters 50th birthday here yesterday. From the reservation till close these people do it right. Our server Nancy was a gracious, attentive server and co-host. Saturday karaoke was what she wanted and that was done perfect as well. Great place great time. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is the owner won't allow a pitcher of water at the table. Why? There are those who don't drink or have to drive. Something to consider for improvement. read more

Great bowling alley! The staff is incredibly friendly and there are almost always lanes available.

Great place to bowl. Nice bar. Yummy food. Drink prices are a little high and so are the food prices.
