It was fun. Went early on a Sunday and were the only people in the place. We would go again.

As the session went on, I felt confident throwing both the axe and the knives. The atmosphere was relaxed with a chill vibe that made it easy to enjoy the experience. Overall, a fun and well-run spot that I'd definitely recommend.

The boys say I'm very accurate and could do very well in competition. I can't exactly say why it's such a good time throwing an axe at a target. It's awkward at first; but once you get the hang of it, it's quite easy. My favourite joke being "No drinking and axe throwing". It turns out that there is. They have beers, craft/draft/domestic cans and other spirits available. We don't really indulge in it, but nice to know you can get all liquored up and chuck an axe at the wall. Maybe the location for your next party? The key to this is the hands-on assistance. Axe masters Steve (great name) and Miranda take the time to teach you. It's not all hatchets; they have other items to throw like knives and big axes. Pro Tip: Call for a reservation. Especially if you have a larger group. If you can, bring a smaller group of people. Four worked great for us! A two hour package is perfect. Time for a lesson, plenty of time to throw! 11/24

This is a Yelp recommendation. These places are great for team building. The more games and events,…read morethe better. Competitions, choosing who excels at what skill and such. I would prefer no alcohol, however, since this was a volunteer participation activity for the crew, it was everyone for themselves. The gang started off on the first floor at the lounge. There's a large variety of games to get things started, even on the walls, themselves. There's also a cafe with a few pretty good food options. Eventually, we migrated to the second floor and began wielding the axes. If you've read my previous writings you'll understand why I was disqualified and Marshalled the events. FWIW, at the end I threw against the top axe chucker and thoroughly cleaned his clock. This should garner me creds amongst the younger folk. Back downstairs for more snacks, drinks and the results. Thanks to the folks at Detroit Axe for an incredible experience. This will most likely be an annual event. 11/25

I honestly really wouldn't recommend coming here if you don't wanna waste money. Though all of the…read moreattractions seem appealing, they are all overpriced and dysfunctional. One time, a friend visiting me wanted to go go-karting so I bought us tickets. It was $25/person to go around about 7 times. I was given a kart that couldn't turn right unless it super slow so I had to slow down drastically every time. I eventually got ran into which put my kart out of commission for the rest of the rounds. It was no fun at all and I should have been offered a refunded since I couldn't even do the activity I paid for properly. I've also done this selfie golf which is okay but it just wasn't for me. I could tell it wasn't well cleaned or maintained. I've tried both of the bars which had great bartenders both times. The drinks are way overpriced just as the food is as well. It's about $25 for some chicken wings which they didn't even bother to try to make look good on their menu. Your first time there, you have to spend a minimum of $20 just to get a pass and some of the popular games aren't even working properly. You can get this thing called a rainbow pass where you can play certain games unlimited for a set period of time but it limits you to only the shooting and driving games which get tiring after 15 minutes. Overall, I really wouldn't suggest people going here unless you want to take a loan out for mid-tier games and overpriced food.
